Although known and feared for thousands of years, rabies remains a real and present threat to thousands of people, especially in low- and middle income countries. In India, rabies is an endemic disease, causing human deaths every year. The primary mode of transmission is through the bite of an infected dog. Fighting the disease in the dog population through vaccinations remains the most efficient way to eradicate the disease. The knowledge of rabies in India is unsatisfactory, as a lot of people lack awareness about the severity of the disease and the importance of washing the bitten area and seeking medical attention for post exposure prophylaxis when bitten by a dog.

Syftet: Syftet med denna studie var att kartlägga magnitud och incidens av bakteriemi vid tandbehandling, vid egen munvård samt vid tuggning. Material och metod: En systematisk sökning i PubMed och Cochrane Library genomfördes. Den systematiska sökningen resulterade i 1113 artiklar. Titlar och abstrakt granskades med hjälp av tre oberoende bedömare. Totalt 90 artiklar lästes i fulltext. Granskningen av artiklar i fulltext genomfördes med hjälp av förutbestämda inklusions- och exklusionskriterier.

Resultatet och efterföljande analys har i fallet med 1929 års artiklar och innehåll visat att katolska kyrkans och påvens relation till Mussolini tenderar att ge en reaktion av en fascismens hantlangare, men att material av dess motsats även förekommer. Liknande uttryck och resultat går också att se i år 1933 och 34 års relation mellan katolska kyrkan och Hitler då uppgörelsen mellan påven och Hitler skapar reaktioner och skarp kritik, men också bilden av en kyrka i opposition mot den i Tyskland expanderande nationalsocialismen.Framställningen av katolska kyrkan och den katolska religionen, har visat sig starkt tendera påståendet om att vara en främmande religion.

This study looks at how probation, client experiences, and criminal policy decisions affect recidivism in Sweden. Gaining a thorough grasp of how social, organizational, and political issues interact and impact the chances of rehabilitation and reintegration is the goal. Three research questions are addressed in the study: First, what are the causes of recidivism? Second, how is probation perceived by staff and clients in terms of control and support? Thirdly, what effects do political decisions have on probation services' operations and clients' chances for recovery?? A qualitative study was conducted with semi-structured interviews with twelve respondents, eight probation clients, three probation officers and one parliamentary politician. There were six themes that discussed the issue of recidivism from different perspectives, the collected data was analyzed through thematic content analysis.

Bakgrund: Vi har valt att skriva om läxor eftersom det är en viktig del i skolans pedagogiska arbete. Trots detta finns det lite forskning på området. Läxor är ett ständigt aktuellt ämne som diskuteras bland föräldrar, pedagoger, elever och andra intresserade i samhället. Syfte: Vårt syfte har varit att undersöka föräldrars och pedagogers uppfattningar om läxornas betydelse och vilken pedagogisk betydelse det har för inlärningen i grundskolans tidigare år. Vi ville även studera vilken samverkan som sker mellan hem och skola.

Syftet med denna studie är först och främst att försöka beskriva en del av den process en misshandlad kvinna genomgår innan hon kan bryta upp ur ett förhållande präglat av våld, men också för att öka förståelsen för varför det ofta tar tid för en kvinna som lever i ett misshandelsförhållande att lämna mannen. Jag undersöker vilka processer som leder in i och ut ur ett förhållande av detta slag. För att göra detta möjligt valde jag att utgå ifrån en självbiografi, skriven av en kvinna som levt i ett misshandelsförhållande. Den forskning jag funnit om dessa processer handlar dels om de emotionella band som binder kvinnan vid mannen och som gör det så svårt att bryta upp, dels om den långa processen ut ur förhållandet. Det är alltså en form av kvalitativ teoretisk studie där jag delat upp berättelsen i två kapitel; Vägen in och Vägen ut, vilka jag sedan tolkar utifrån en försoningens hermeneutik.

Det är viktigt för företag att kontinuerligt arbeta med att förbättra arbetsmiljön och minska antalet arbetsolyckor. En ökning av antalet arbetsolyckor under det senaste året har lett till att Holmen önskat undersöka faktorer som påverkar individens beteende i säkerhetsarbetet. Detta fångade vårt intresse varför det blev syftet med vår uppsats. Med hjälp av intervjuer av individer och grupper vid två av Holmens bruk har vi kommit fram till att betoningen på säkerhet inte är tillräcklig. Kommunikationen gällande vikten av säkerhet skulle kunna förbättras och ledningen men i synnerhet arbetsledarna skulle kunna ta en tydligare ledarroll. Vi har noterat att det finns normer och starka band inom gruppen vilka kan påverka individernas beteende på ett sätt det inte borde.
