Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att undersöka vilka copingstrategier som kvinnor med bröstcancer, deras partners och barn använde. De vetenskapliga artiklar som ligger till grund för litteraturstudiens resultat söktes på databaserna Elin@Dalarna, Wiley InterScience och PubMed. De valda artiklarnas vetenskaplighet granskades med modifierade versioner av Willman, Stoltz & Bahtsevani och Forsberg & Wengströms granskningsmallar. Resultatet av denna litteraturstudie visade att det fanns olika copingstrategier som användes för hantering av kvinnors bröstcancer. Flera studiers forskningsresultat visade att de copingstrategier som kvinnor med bröstcancer använde var religion, acceptans, att ha ett positivt synsätt, förnekelse, emotionellt stöd och undvikande.

I min uppsats har jag sökt visa hur den grekiska filosofin har påverkat den islamiska genom att koncentrera mig på Avicenna/Ibn Sina (cirka 980-1037), en av de främsta bland islams filosofer. Jag har lagt särskild vikt vid relationen mellan Avicennas och Aristoteles tänkande, men spårat inflytandet via översättningsverksamheten med centrum i Vishetens hus (Bayt al-Hikma) i Baghdad och tidigare tänkare som al-Kindi och al-Farabi. Jag har också beaktat självständiga inslag i Avicennas filosofi och antytt dess senare inflytande, inte bara på hans anhängare utan också på kritiker som al-Ghazali och, via Suhrawardi och andra, på den fortfarande livskraftiga illuministiska traditionen. Avicennas skrifter har också starkt påverkat den västerländska filosofin; de var under en del av medeltiden en huvudkälla till kunskap om Aristoteles tänkande..

In January 2004 two members of the Pentecostal community Knutby Filadelfia in Uppsalamunicipality, Sweden, were shot by their fellow member Sara Svensson. With a qualitative hermeneutic case study as the principal method this essay takes on the task of not only investigating if and how Stockholm Syndrome can be used as a model for interpreting and understanding the violent incident in Knutby Filadelfia, but also to see if the unique characteristic of the Knutby incident can tell us something about Stockholm Syndrome as a model for understanding violence in religious movements. The material shows Stockholm Syndrome as having been present in Knutby because of among other things, a mileu, leadership and theology that supported the normalization of abuse and the enabling and maintaining of self punishment in the community. While Stockholm Syndrome still is a controversial theory this study shows that it can be used as a powerful tool in the understanding of violence in religious contexts..

Mitt syfte är att analysera hur ett urval läroböcker behandlar genus i avsnitten om judendomen jämfört med avsnitten om kristendomen, i både text och bild. De värderingar och normer som framkommer ska dessutom sättas i förhållande till Lpf 94. Metoden jag använder mig av för att analysera texterna och bilderna är Norman Faircloughs kritiska diskursanalys. Till Faircloughs modell har jag även tillfogat två av Raewyn Connells fyra dimensioner av genus för att på ett enkelt sätt kunna se om genus exkluderas i text och bild. Jeanette Sky bok Genus och religion spelar en central roll i uppsatsen.

Immigration is today happening in Sweden to a great extent and this requires a higher level of demands within the transcultural nursing. With this fact as a base to our literature review the aim of the study was developed. This was to investigate how immigrants with diabetes mellitus type 2 experience health and to find out the importance of knowledge related to the patients compliance of given advise and prescriptions. On the basis of the aim the following questions of issue was formulated: How do immigrants with diabetes mellitus type 2 experience their health and what knowledge do they possess concerning their illness? and Within which areas of the immigrants life is it important for the nurse to gain knowledge in order to affect and oblige him or her? A critical review of nine scientific articles emerged in three themes that answer the questions of issue.

The purpose of this study was to examine and explain Sweden?s defence and security policy during the twenty-first century. The method that was used in this research was a case study. The material that was used were government documents focusing on this area of policy, and numerous books concerning the theoretical perspectives on international relations and defence security policy. The study is of an explaining art and the analysis explains Sweden?s security and defence policy during the twenty-first century. AbstractIn the heart of Paris, you will find Sweden?s only cultural center abroad. Since the early 70?s a wealth of cultural activities has been offered, and every year the center receives more than 100,000 visitors. The center is a branch of the Swedish Institute (Si), a public authority which promotes mutual relationships between Sweden and other countries through culture, education, science and business.

Johanna Petrén, a prospective teacher of religion, has examined how a couple of students view Christianity as it is presented in a Religious Education classroom. Furthermore, how this image matches their experience of Christianity outside of school. The key questions of this essay are: How do the students generally describe Christianity and what it means to be a Christian based on the image they have acquired from outside of school, or from Christian friends, confirmation or their own faith? How do the students describe Christianity according to what they learn in Religious education at school? What potential differences do the students perceive between the image of Christianity conveyed by the school and the image they have of Christianity from outside of school? Does the school's teaching influence the credibility and interest in Christianity? The questions have been discussed in focus group interviews, in which the students way of reasoning and talking about religious matters were analysed based on previous research. References used in the analysis includes research on topics such as science of religious history, religion in multicultural and postcolonial rooms, secularism and discourse analysis have.

The purpose of this C-essay within the subject of religion is to form a notion as to how the attitudes towards women and their position in a theoretical biblical society might have been perceived, based upon a select number of texts from the first five books of the Bible (the Pentateuch).Since this essay was written under the framework of the teacher education programme, it is also integrated with the pedagogy subject. In a time where information overload is a fact, well formulated messages is required and communication is a big contributing element for building strong brands. In the north of Sweden, Norrmejerier is one of the big actors with dominance on the dairy factor market. Through making milk products that lands in the consumers refridgerators, they are not only working for economical interest but also for improving the nature of the north of Sweden. Through visual communication, Norrmejerier shows the consumers a beneficial view of the north of Sweden which corresponds to the populations own impression of their part of the country. This contributes to a feeling of belonging that makes strong and loyal consuments. The feeling of belonging is also reflected in Norrmejeriers commercial movies, that uses the consumers conscience to make costumers. By two group interviews and a semiotic analysis of Norrmejeriers commercial movies, this study aims to examine how Norrmejerier uses qualities of the north of Sweden when building their brand.

The aim of this master-thesis is to investigate the emergence of bureaucratic drift in connection with implementation of EU-legislation in Sweden. To narrow it down I have chosen to look at the Swedish implementation of the Working Time Directive, directive 93/104/EG. To be able to fulfil the purpose of this master-thesis I have used two research questions; [1] How did Sweden implement the Working Time Directive into Swedish law? and [2] Why did Sweden omit to correct implement the Working Time Directive? To be able to understand and explain the situation I have used the principal-agent perspective as a theoretical framework. An analysis of motives has been used as analytical method.The results from the analysis show that Sweden, in order to keep the contractual model used on the labour market, which is a part of the well known Swedish model, shirked while implementing the directive and implemented as to be able to fulfil its own agenda.

Syftet med föreliggande examensarbete är att utveckla ett förslag på läromedel för lärare i ämnet religionskunskap i grundskolans senare år. Vi har i uppsatsen beskrivit vårt arbete utifrån ett religionspedagogiskt försök. Analys och utvärdering av detta experiment redovisas och likaså undervisningsmodellen i sin helhet. Modellen behandlar delar av kristendomen och grundar sig på diskussioner utifrån populärmusik samt estetiska moment. Vi har i litteraturöversikten fokuserat på de stöd vi kan för denna undervisningsmodell i läroplan och kursplan samt beskrivit relevant forskning på närliggande områden. Bland annat beskrivs elevers inställning till religion och livsfrågor.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskan skall ge en god omvårdnad till alla som är i behov av vårdoavsett religion, kultur, kön eller ålder. Smärta är en upplevelse som uppfattas olika avvarje individ. Syfte: Studiens syfte var att belysa kulturens betydelse för upplevelsen avsmärta. Metod: En litteraturgranskning genomfördes och artiklarna klassificerades ochkvalitetsbedömdes samt kategoriserades innan de slutligen sammanställdes. Resultat:Sjuksköterskor världen över var överens om att utbildning och kunskap kring andrakulturer är bristfällig i yrkesgruppen och att patienternas upplevelse i sin smärthanteringinte stämde överens med sjuksköterskornas uppfattning.

The point of interest in this study is to identify whether ethnicity is a correlating factor regarding Hungarian immigrants? development of identity in Sweden. The general aim is to increase knowledge and understanding of the conditions for the Hungarian ethnical group in Sweden to reach self-realization. The main question is whether the general view of the background of this ethnical group has a connection to their self-realization in Sweden? Since the study involves a whole group of minority, a limitation has been made to adults living in the city of Halmstad, Sweden.

Vi har valt att studera hur pedagoger väljer böcker i förskolan för att främja barnens språkutveckling. Vårt syfte med detta arbete är att se hur pedagoger använder sig utav böcker i förskolan för att främja barnens språkutveckling. De flesta vet att böcker är bra för språkutvecklingen, men hur används detta i praktiken? Vi har valt att göra intervjuer på två olika förskolor med fyra olika pedagoger för att se hur de arbetar och utifrån vilket syfte. Det resultat vi fick fram av de pedagoger vi intervjuade, är att pedagogera är ense om att böckerna är ett viktigt redskap i språkutvecklingen och utvecklingen i stort hos barn. De vet att språkutvecklingsmässigt får barnen ut mycket av läsning.
