Jag minns när man som liten var på besök hos mormors föräldrar i deras lägenhet i Sundbyberg. I vardagsrummet eller salongen hade de en figurin i glaskupa, där satt jag alltid och stirrade, försvann in i fantasins värld, iakttog scenariot med musicerande män i peruk och den sirliga färgrika vegetationen. Figuriner avbildar oftast människor eller djur, noggrant utarbetade, i en idealisk värld. Ett fryst ögonblick där allt är i harmoni, stråkarna ljuder och rusdrycken flödar i salongen, bönderna drar sina kärror och skördar glatt, människor och djur lever i symbios med varandra och naturen. En skönmålning som både innehåller och saknar problematik men är samtidigt en intressant tradition där jag kan frossa i referenser och uttryck, kitschiga motiv och inkonsekventa koncept. .

The hillforts of Bohusl?n are numerous, yet few have been studied, leaving gaps in our understanding of their dating, morphology, and connections to nearby prehistoric sites. With the help of settlement archaeology, the aim of this study has been to analyse three hillforts on Hisingen and answer these questions. This was done by observing the location and morphology of the hillforts and by analysing the age and functions of nearby prehistoric sites within a kilometer of the hillforts. The results indicate that Bj?rlanda 22:1 and Torslanda 56:1 were likely ritualistic enclosures, while Torslanda 15:1 had defensive functions.

This Master?s thesis presents a descriptive study of the intellectual process to describe images in such a way that they can be incorporated into written information systems. The purpose of the thesis is to concentrate on the scientific development for the last two decades, in the area concerning the description of images so that they can be organized and incorporated into information systems and possible to retrieve when searched for. Library and information science (LIS) has a strong tradition of turning to the iconographical theories of Erwin Panofsky and to semiotics according to Roland Barthes, for models and theories for the interpretation of images. The question for this thesis is whether LIS in this scientific field, has deviated from these models and theories, or are Panofsky and Barthes and their scientific work still providing for intellectual and practical guidance for LIS within this area..

Syftet med vår rapport har varit att få ta del av rektorernas tankar kring ämnet svenska som andraspråk. I Lpo94 kan vi ta del av hur skolan ska vara likvärdig var i landet den än anordnas men vår uppfattning var att ramarna för svenska som andraspråk kunde skilja sig åt. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ metod och vårt undersökningsinstrument var en kvalitativ intervju. Fem rektorer som är verksamma inom samma kommun i södra Sverige har deltagit i vår undersökning. Vårt resultat visar att det råder viss okunskap kring ämnet svenska som andraspråk och även respondenterna menar att det borde lyftas fram mer på skolorna.

I detta examensarbete har jag tillsammans med min kollega Markus Eriksson spelat in sju musikstycken med tydligt bera?ttande funktion. Dessa sju musikstycken fungerar som filmmusik till fyra olika historier som utspelar sig i ett la?genhetshus, ett introstycke som sammanfattar hela den musikaliska ide?n, ett stycke som gestaltar gatan samt ett stycke som beskriver ka?nslan i trapphuset. Materialet utgo?r en del av min portfolio och fo?rhoppningsvis kommer detta projekt o?ka mina mo?jligheter att fa? skriva musik till ro?rlig bild i framtiden.

Kreativitet är ett begrepp som har fått stor slagkraft inom restaurangbranschen. Många kockar anses idag jobba kreativt med matlagning och använder denna egenskap som ett sätt att konkurrera på en hård marknad.Syftet i studien avsåg att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar en kocks kreativa arbete.Metoden som användes var en granskning av fem vetenskapligt godkända artiklar. Materialet analyserades och ställdes samman i resultatdelen. Vidare skrevs artikelmatriser för att lättare kunna ta del av den väsentliga informationen artiklarna innehöll.Resultatet visade på att bakgrund, personliga egenskaper, studie- och arbetsmiljö är viktiga inre och yttre faktorer som påverkar en kocks kreativa arbete. Det kreativa arbetet är under ständig utveckling och måste anpassas efter marknadens krav och de gäster som ska tillfredställas.

Churches are seen as one of Sweden's most valuable cultural heritage. They bear witness to a living tradition and gives us knowledge of society at large and therefore people's lives at different times. These buildings possesses a high value, which is shared by the vast majority, and they are protected by law. The concept of modern churches is in this essay the churches built after 1940, which is not covered by law. The older churches has therefore a cultural and historical value which the modern churches lack.About 600 churches are built after the year of 1940 and the total number of churches in the country is 3400.

English Title: "The unquestionable tuition of music theory". During my years as a musician and a musical student, I have encountered many prejudices when it comes to views on music played by ear and the routines and discourses belonging to its creation and performance. I have experienced that there is a concealed hierarchical view on different styles of music, particularly amongst those educators and musicians who are highly educated in musicology. The Afro-American tradition, has historically been a part of the musical education at university level for much shorter a period than that of the classical tradition. In my opinion, the formulation of the music theory lessons is still strongly influenced by the classical tradition.

Denna uppsats om 15 hp har syftet att undersöka hur man socialiseras in i rollen som student genom aktiviteter vid Ultuna Studentkår. Studentlivet kan sägas vara fullt av profana ritualer, rutiner och bär på ett utvecklat symbolspråk. Under sin studieperiod deltar många av studenterna i dessa aktiviteter. Med hjälp av handling och tal inbegrips de i, förvaltar och formar föreställningar om den egna rollen ? deras identitet som studenter och som blivande yrkesutövare.

Preschool has a long tradition of using picture books, both as entertainment and as a resource for educational activities. In science there are two main application areas. The first one is science concepts and the second is to teach basic science process skills. These skills, observing, communicating, inferring, classifying, measuring and predicting reflects the methods used by scientists. Picture books potential to put science concepts and activities that promote the use of science process skills in a meaningful context, recommends using picture books for this purpose.

Detta arbete omfattar en studie angående ett blivande kompetensutvecklingscenter för urbefolkningen på ön Mindoro i Filippinerna. En central punkt på centret är ett rum avsätt för varierande verksamheter. Min studie omfattar hur detta rum på bästa sätt kan bidra till flexibilitet och användbarhet genom rumsliga element. En fallstudie utfördes i Filippinerna under perioden mars-maj 2012. En kvalitativ studie innefattande intervjuer, observationer, diskussioner, analyser och litteraturstudie, med fokus på visioner, hinder och förutsättningar. Analys av studien och designprocessen resulterade i ett gestaltningsförslag som skapar förutsättningar för inkludering och funktionalitet. Resultatet blev en stapelbar låda som går att använda som sittplats, en plats till förvaring, samt går att sätta ihop till önskade moduler.

Snow White through Grimm and Disney - A Comparative StudyThis essay attempts to discern the differences regarding six Swedish versions of the fairy-tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs over a period of 150 years. Focus is placed on structural transformations through time and media according to the analytical theories of Vladimir Propp. Attention is also given to former research done on the impact of the fairy-tale on the child from a psychological and social point of view. Of interest is the historical background of the tale, commencing with oral tradition, and how this was dealt with by the Grimm brothers. Three of the versions used for this comparative study are variants of the Grimm tale, and three belong to Walt Disney productions, i.e.

The Christianisation of Sweden is not much about religion. Instead, there is much to be gained by looking at it as a colonial situation with changing social identities and power structures. This is evident by the prevalence of hybridisations in the archaeological material.Some of the material categories that show the clearest example of changes are the burials from the 9th century up until about AD 1200. This is exemplified by two different Iron Age burial sites in Stockholm county, Uppland, Sweden: RAÄ 59, Valsta, in Norrsunda parish and RAÄ 40, Lilla Ullevi, in Bro parish; They both show hybridisation by involving older elements with newer ones during a time period when the church was not quite established in the region yet.The Christianisation of Sweden is a colonial situation, but the research tradition has often also used a colonial lens from the 19th and early 20th century in its approach to the period. This means that the same questions, interpretations and conclusions, often based on written sources, have been continuously reused for a long time, which has had consequences for the archaeology in Sweden..

Syftet var att kartlägga hur två pedagoger med olika utbildningar och skilda skoltraditioner ser på utomhuspedagogik och om de strävar mot samma mål samt om deras tankemönster och strategier skiljer åt. I arbetet undersöktes skillnaderna mellan två skolformer ur ett konfliktperspektiv.  En förskollärare och en grundskollärare intervjuades med hjälp av dataprogrammet Complador. Detta innebar att intervjupersonerna aktivt deltog i dokumentationen av sitt eget tänkande i form av tankekartor (strateginät). Tankekartorna jämfördes.

The purpose of this examination is to investigate how Judisk Krönika, a periodical which was introduced in 1932 with the aim of disseminating Jewish culture and tradition in Sweden, uses history to make comments about its role in contemporary history, specifically during the first two years of the First Intifada. A second purpose was to examine how this use of history differed from results shown in earlier studies comprising the 1960s and the 2000s. The method in use is qualitative; the source material has been read thoroughly and scrutinized in search of the authors open and hidden messages and intentions. The main finding shows that four major themes could be identified: anti-Semitism(anti-Zionism); memory; ethnonational and media. The most dominant theme during the 1980s, as opposed to the 1960s and the 2000s focus on Zionism and Jewish culture respectively, is memory, that could be described as hegemonic and as a part of a existential use of history, which aims for survival and preservation of the Jewish culture in times of conflict..
