The purpose of this dissertation is to examine and present six different texts produced by the Sweden democrats. This examination focuses its attention on the content and the technique of the arguments present in the texts. In addition, the results will be put in relation to the steering documents for the Swedish school system. The aim is to observe common features regarding content and technique present in the texts. More specifi-cally, I will examine how the texts produced by the Sweden democrats pose a problem to the Swedish school system.

The invisible entrepreneurship is a study of owners of businesses with foreign heritage. It describes the unexplored relationship between ethnicity and class within this group of entrepreneurs.The result of the study is a model which I have found to be suitable to use when depicting the relationship between the ethnic profile and class. The model indicates that the importance of ethnicity decreases as both the owner of, and the business reach a more prominent class. The method of collecting data has been interviews with owners of businesses and Grounded theory has been used to analyse this data. Theories on ethnicity, owners of businesses with foreign heritage, and class in relation to ethnicity have been discussed on the basis of social constructivism.

In the New Testament different pictures of a Christian woman are presented, not only thepicture of someone who is nursing and caring, but also the picture of someone who is learningand being educated.Women are put into systems of gender which form them, and throughout the years the pictureof women has been that they primarily should be caring and nursing, not learning.Both of these pictures exist within the Swedish Missionary Society, a society that has not hadany constitution to comply with until 1964, which meant that each person could make his owninterpretation of the Bible and its texts.This essay examines how fifty-year-old women are pictured within the Swedish MissionarySociety 1945-1970, assuming that women who want to serve Jesus have to be prepared togive up their traditional role of nursing and caring, and focus on learning instead.The research method is qualitative, and the written sources are from a regional Christianweekly publication. Den svenska integrationspolitiken har som mål att verka för ett samhälle där alla människor har samma villkor och möjligheter. Trots detta har Sverige blivit ett alltmer segregerat samhälle där en stor del av befolkningen lever i utanförskap. Orsaken till den här utvecklingen har inom integrationspolitiken i stor utsträckning debatterats av ?experter?, medan de som drabbas av utanförskapet sällan får göra sina röster hörda. Syftet med studien är att lyfta fram röster från människor som befinner sig långt ifrån den plats i samhället där integrationspolitiken utformas samt att reflektera kring det sociala arbetets möjligheter att motverka utanförskap och marginalisering.

The aim with this study was to give and receive an insight of children?s participation during one day in a preschool. Answers we were interested in finding out were how pedagogues act in relation to children´s influence, participation and interests and how this shows in the pedagogical context. Our own interest of children´s participation was influenced by the new revised curriculum that took place in 2010. Nowadays the pedagogues? have to be more active and reflect and document children´s influence and participation, and therefore we wanted to use this opportunity to create a picture of how pedagogues deal with these new guidelines.We have with an ethnographic inspired approach performed a qualitative study with data collected during one day with focus on children´s influence, participation and interest in one preschool section.According to the result children?s participation and influence this day were controlled by the pedagogue.

Denna uppsats bygger på exempel tagna från en egen autentisk översättning av en tyskspråkig webbplats till svenska samt teori som stöd för lösningarna. Målet med översättningen var att åstadkomma en läsbar text genom att ta hänsyn till det speciella mediet och den varierande målgrupp som webbpublicering för med sig samt till textsorten som i detta fall var en säljande turisttext. De översättnings-problem som uppsatsen fokuserar på omfattar egennamn och kulturspecifika före-teelser, informationsstruktur samt tilltal. Det visade sig att texten krävde en hel del förklaringar och tillägg, men även en del strykningar genomfördes. För att åstad-komma en text som är tillgänglig för en stor publik krävdes också en del explicit-göranden i form av satskonnektorer för att texten ska flyta på, dvs.

This study examined by content analysis and semiotic picture analysis how gender equal the UK newspaper The Times, the U.S/Iranian nespaper Iran Times International and Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet were May 1st 2009 and May 8th 2009. The study had a foundation of feminist theory about patriarchy and gender theory with a contribution of research about race and its impact on patriarchy.None of the three papers were fully gender equal. Even though Svenska Dagbladet was found to be the most gender equal when it came to the number of women represented all of the newspapers examined showed patriachal structures since women more often than men were described as victimes, trivialized, incompetent and inferior.  People with a race other than white were in minority but patriarchy seems to be a stronger form of oppression than racism. White men were in majority and were less opressed than other groups and were because of that most in favour of the newspapers symbolic powers..

Studien vill belysa hur genusfrågan i läroböcker i år nio har framställts efter skolreformerna 1969 respektive 1994. Är pojkar och flickor, kvinnor och män ensidigt eller stereotypt framställda? Undersökningen koncentrerar sig främst på analys av bilder och text i läroböckerna och den innefattar två läroböcker från varje läroplansreform där antal avbildade kvinnor och män, antal kvinno- respektive mansrelaterade ord samt kvinnliga och manliga sysslor räknats. Studien visar att flickor får lite utrymme i de tidiga läroböckerna men att det i de moderna snarare råder jämvikt i fördelningen av de båda könen. När det gäller utövande sysslor infinner sig en förskjutning från kvinnor i kvinnliga sysslor i de äldre läroböckerna mot kvinnor i manliga sysslor i de moderna böckerna.

This study examines how the Swedish newspaper G?teborgs-Posten presented Swedish identity in relation to the country?s referendum and EU-membership. By investigating the usage of the Swedish identity, related to EU-membership, the ambition is to conclude whether the newspaper was positive towards EU-membership. The empirical base consists of articles produced by G?teborgs-Posten from the first of October 1994 to the last day of January 1995.
