This report is a commission from the Care Unit of Hässleholm municipal. The purpose is to illuminate what is distinguish for contact persons at sheltered housing in the Municipal of Hässleholm? It contains three questions at issue. What are the expectations of the contact men? What information is given? How is communication between the professional categories working out?The report also contains a background with a brief Swedish history in care of older people.

The award-winning Norwegian novelist Karl Ove Knausgård achieved great success with his latest book, Min kamp. Both commercially and critically, the novel was praised for its seemingly successful attempt to transcend the boundary between fiction and real life. Focusing on the auto-fictional narrator?s struggle to balance his daily life with his ever so demanding aesthetic ambitions, the novel gives high-detail descriptions of the most basic day-to-day chores, intimately mixed with philosophical reflections on topics such as painting, literature and postmodern civilisation.This essay proposes an alternative perspective on the realism of the novel. Instead of relying on a correspondence theoretical view, which highlights the level of correspondence of a particular representation with reality, I seek, inspired by Martin Heidegger?s thoughts on works of art, to trace a poetics which sees the verity in a work of art as the ?unconcealment? of the world, or the coming-to-being of objects.

The aim of this study is to examine the historical information about women?s libraries and book ownership during the early modern period in the work of Carl Magnus Carlander, Svenska bibliotek och ex-libris [Swedish libraries and ex-libris] (1904) and to inquire the scientific value of the information. A gender perspective is applied to the study. Gender is understood as a social and cultural constructed concept, dealing with female and male identities as interdependent categories.The study of Svenska bibliotek och ex-libris is made using source criticism and it has two parts. The aim of this thesis is to investigate how students in higher education use talking books. This has been inves-tigated through qualitative interviews with nine students. The intention has been to find out how they use talk-ing books and why they have chosen to do it in the way they have, looking specifically on whether there are strategies shared by most of the interviewees.As a theoretical basis of the thesis I have chosen a study, described by Sigrid Hongset, where dyslectic pu-pils tried using printed text and text on tape, as well as both simultaneously. George Kingsley Zipfs ?Principle of least effort? will act as a supplemental theory.The interviews show that the students use talking books in different ways.

I denna uppsats undersöks hur 18 gymnasieelever i åk 1 lyckas med att skapa sammanhang i sina texter. Det överordnade syftet är att undersöka hur eleverna utnyttjar möjligheterna att bygga upp och markera avsnitt och stycken. Utifrån resultaten förs därefter en didaktisk diskussion. Ett annat syfte är att pröva huruvida ledfamiljsanalys är ett bra verktyg för att bedöma bra eller dålig styckeindelning. Metoderna som används i undersökningen är makrostrukturanalys, referensbindnings- och ledfamiljsanalys.I kapitlet bakgrund och tidigare forskning presenteras bland annat Eva Östlund-Stjärnegårdhs avhandling Godkänd i svenska? The Swedish and the Finnish compulsory care legislation that regards abusers differ in several ways. The arguments for compulsory care and for the time which one will receive compulsory care are dissimilar. The aim of this thesis is to describe and analyse which arguments for compulsory care and the length of the care time that has been expressed in the Swedish and the Finnish laws and in the statutes. The tools were an argumentation analysis, which is a form of qualitative text analysis method, combined with a hermeneutic scientific position. We have investigated the arguments that try to justify compulsory care and the care time that has been expressed in the laws and the statutes.

Trots detta är den relativt okänd: många jag talat med har varit omedvetna om existensen av denna art. Av dom som känt till den har flera haft föreställningen om att den är utdöd, eller blandat ihop den med antingen uroxen eller myskoxen.

Preschool has a long tradition of using picture books, both as entertainment and as a resource for educational activities. In science there are two main application areas. The first one is science concepts and the second is to teach basic science process skills. These skills, observing, communicating, inferring, classifying, measuring and predicting reflects the methods used by scientists. Picture books potential to put science concepts and activities that promote the use of science process skills in a meaningful context, recommends using picture books for this purpose.

WPF is a newly introduced graphical system that is a part of Microsoft?s .NET Framework. This report will evaluate WPF and its features. A comparison is made mainly towards the previous version of .NET which is .NET 2.0. The work is partly theoretical and partly implementational.

Detta arbete har syftat till utveckla ett feminint, ungt och individuellt perspektiv på nio gymnasieflickors egna uppfattningar om och förståelse av en populärkulturell text, som de gavs tillfälle att i en gruppintervju beskriva med egna ord. Flera elever uttryckte synpunkter som i hög grad förde tankarna till ett postmodernt tänkande, fokuserat på individens önskningar och drömmar. En del elever tyckte att filmen tog upp kvinnofrågan anno 2009, dvs. att den fokuserade på kvinnans fria val att leva singelliv och rätt till ?manliga sexualvanor?, på hennes rätt till kvinnliga gemenskaper och genom dessa rätten till ett inbyggt bekräftelsesystem, på hennes rätt att vara kvinnlig i kombination med att ha en karriär och på åldersfixeringen i dagens samhälle.

Entrepreneurship is said to be the missing link between knowledge and growth in the Swedish economy. New ventures run a high risk of failing and this holds true especially for technology ventures. Since company leaders have proven to exert an influence on organisations' survival possibilities, the selection of an appropriate CEO is important. The purpose of this study is to describe the importance of the CEO for ventures as well as to explain how knowledge and experience affect the opinion of who should be CEO. Using a qualitative case study research design including three life science companies, we show that there are three main factors crucial when selecting a CEO.

Uppsatsen behandlar ett ämne som alltid är aktuellt i skolvärlden, nämligen hur bedömning av elever ska gå till och hur läraren ska få dem att utvecklas. Istället för att beskriva en idag, år 2013, aktuell undervisningsmetod, bedömning för lärande/formativ bedömning, behandlar föreliggande uppsats denna ?metod? som ett diskursivt konstruerat fenomen. Genom att ta utgångspunkt i Norman Faircloughs modell för kritisk diskursanalys behandlar föreliggande uppsats fenomenet på tre nivåer, i text, diskursiv praktik och social praktik. Utgångsläget, enligt denna metod, och teori, är att det ständigt pågår en förändringsprocess i alla sociala sammanhang som påverkas av det språkbruk som används just där och då.

The purpose of this report is to examine various roof structures that can operate in a warehouse with large spans. The building that is examined in the report is currently under construction, and the roof construction has already been selected. The selected roof system will therefore be compared with some other structures and materials that have been possible. The report will evaluate three different frame materials, two insulating barriers and two overlaying materials. Another important part in major construction projects is the roof safety.

I denna uppsats ges en allmän beskrivning av olika sätt att skapa talsyntes samt en mer noggrann beskrivning av hur man på relativt kort tid kan skapa en ny syntesröst med konkateneringssyntes. Den nya syntesrösten är unik eftersom det tidigare inte skapats någon kvinnlig syntesröst med sydsvensk dialekt. I inledningen finns en översikt över talsyntesens historia, beskrivning av tre olika sorters talsyntes samt en kort beskrivning av text-till-tal-syntes.Sedan beskrivs arbetet med pilotprojektet till den nya syntesrösten som var till för att utvärdera inspelningsmiljö, talarens röst och de metoder som användes vid inspelning, segmentering och vågformsgenerering. Resultaten visar bl.a. att det är stor skillnad i röstkvalitet då vågformen genereras på två olika sätt.

Purpose: The aim of this paper is to investigate whether there are differences between big cities and small cities in adventure tourism. The cities that are studied are Stockholm and Visby.Methodology: The study is based on a qualitative method. We have done interviews and observation. We also used books and internet when collecting information.        Conclusions: The study has shown that differences exist between large and small cities. People seek out the opposite, whether you're from a big city or small town.
