Denna uppsats handlar om texturval hos nio svensklärare i gymnasiet, samt deras tolkning av kursplanens formulering ?centrala verk?. Författaren till denna uppsats tar, förutom valet av tryckta skönlitterära texter, även upp multimodala texter och försöker undersöka vilka texttyper de intervjuade lärarna föredrar att använda i sin undervisning. Syftet är att försöka få en inblick i hur texturvalet hos gymnasielärare i svenska, i relation till kursplanens ?centrala verk?, kan gå till.Nio svensklärare som arbetar på gymnasiet har intervjuats via mail.

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Nevertheless, people with cognitive and communicativedisabilities have limited access to common communication technology like textmessaging via a mobile phone. This study is part of the project Text messagingwith picture symbols - a possibility for AAC users and people with cognitiveimpairments. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine and analyse how the public librarys mission is interpreted and formulated in a selection of library related journals. The journals are both international scientific referee journals from the LIS field and journals with a closer connection to the practitioners within the public library field. The idea is that these journals can be seen as windows to an academic theoretic perspective on public libraries, as well as to the practitioners way of talking about the librarys mission. The study also aims to examine if there is a difference in the way that the librarys mission is interpreted and discussed among theorists and among practitioners within the field. The theoretical starting-point is Ernesto Laclaus and Chantal Mouffes discourse theory, and the method is text analytic.

The taste of the dairy product is probably the main factor determining consumer?s dairy products choice. Consequently it is of great importance that the product tastes good and as expected every time. Off-flavors in milk can be caused by for example oxidation of the milk fat. Since copper is a prooxidant, a high copper content in the milk can cause oxidation.

Difficult calvings and stillbirths are problems in Swedish dairy production that result in large expenses for the farmers and welfare issues concerning the animals. A common opinion is that the live weight of SRB and SLB is increasing, and whether increased weights have caused the increase in calving problems has been discussed. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the relative birth weight (calf/cow) and calving difficulty and stillbirth, respectively. The importance of breed and parity for the relative weight has been investigated, and comparisons with previous studies have been made to evaluate whether the relative weight has changed over the last decades or not. The study was based on 807 calvings, registered during the period 1993-2003 in the experimental dairy herd of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Jälla).

At SLU, Divison of Reproduction, Dept of Clinical Science, there is an ongoing project on the development and evaluation of new methods for the assessment of stallion semen quality. This EEF-study, which is a part of that larger project, has focused on the effects on motility and fertility of stallion semen of two different extenders and selection. Both an objective method and a subjective method for analysis have been used and compared in the study. The increase in the use of artificial insemination with cooled semen in Swedish horse breeding over the last decade is thought to play a part in declining foaling rates (Kareskoski et al, 2006, Kuisma et al, 2006). This calls for better evaluation methods of semen quality since cooling and transportation put higher demands on semen quality in order to maintain fertility (Aurich, 2005).

Internet har fått en större plats i de flesta personers liv med ökad tillgänglighet till mediet. En mycket stor grupp individer har dock svårt att nyttja Internet på grund av låg tillgänglighet vilken blivit en effekt av ett funktionshinder. Min uppsats avhandlar om W3C:s - WAI:s riktlinjer för god tillgänglighet och Jakob Nielsens rekommendationer för en god användarvänlighet är användbara för gruppen dyslektiker vid formatering av text och länkar. Jag vill också i mitt arbete finna faktorer vilka kan optimera utformning av en textmassa och länkar för att på så sätt förbättra illgänglighetsanpassningen till data vid webbdesign. I arbetet har jag funnit några faktorer vilka kan optimera tillgängligheten för dyslektiker.

I den här uppsatsen gör Anton Andersson, Christoffer Urborn och Tommy Borg under sin andratermin på Journalistprogrammet en kvantitativ analys av könsfördelningen i Sundsvalls Tidning ochDagbladet. I undersökningen analyserades både text och bild i en veckas upplagor av bådatidningarna under våren 2014. Analysen omfattar endast tidningarnas egna material och inköptaartiklar. Material inskickat av läsare eller företagsannonser ingår inte i undersökningen.!Studien visar att tidningarnas namnomnämningar i text domineras av det manliga könet, endast varfjärde namn som fanns att läsa var ett kvinnligt. I bildsättningen var könsfördelningen mer jämn,men även där är männen överrepresenterade.

The purpose of this text is to show how social class is (re)produced and created in the short stories?Draksådd? byMaria Sandel and Ivar Lo Johanssons ?Nya tänder? from Statarna I and to point out ways that the short storiesmay be useful from an Educational Perspective. Maria Sandel was the first (recognized) female author to writein the genre of Working-Class Literature in Sweden and Ivar Lo-Johansson is a recognized authorship who ismost famous for his novels portraying Statarna. The analysis focuses on how the teeth motif is portrayed in theshort stories. My analysis proves how the teeth motif is important in portraying the construction of class.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to see how technology is presented in different fictional picture books that are available in preschool. Six fictional picture books that have connection to technology in picture and text have been analysed. In order to show how technology can be made visible in fictional picture books, the relation between picture and text has been analysed through a technology perspective. Furthermore, the pictures and the texts have been analysed separately in order to show what they show respectively in terms of technology. The fictional picture book has a potential to be a basis for making technology visible in preschool, which is a step in a new direction.

Syftet med det här examensarbetet har varit att förbättra ett disharmoniskt medlemsbrev utifrån principer för god informationsdesign. Detta på grund av att verksamhetsledarna har fått klagomål på dess utformning samt att verksamhetsledarna själva tycker att medlemsbrevet är ?fult, svårt att läsa (pga text och form)? och vill därför att det förbättras. Genom min förstudie som bestod av kvalitativa intervjuer med verksamhetsledarna, en enkätundersökning med målgruppen, en omvärldsanalys och två textanalyser kunde jag svara påföljande frågeställningar: Vilka brister finns det i nuvarande medlemsbrevet gällande text, innehåll och form? Min teoriinsamling har utgått från följande frågeställning: Hur kan jag använda mig av de tre principerna för god informationsdesign (läslighet, läsbarhet och läsvärde) för att uppnå harmoni? The present MA thesis analyzes how body and blood functions as historical and narrative elements in Yu Hua's novel Chronicle of a Blood Merchant (1995). In the novel, the story and the plot can not be regarded as disparate items; the two levels of the text are tightly interwoven by what the thesis introduces as a sangvinolent narration. The term conceptualizes the use of blood as a structural element and the thrust of the text, in this case how the ability to sell blood is a prerequisite for the story and the plot.Close readings reveal the structural correlations between the blood-selling main-character Xu Sanguan in the plot on the one hand, and in the story on the other, which can be detected to have, inter alia, an effect on the temporality of the narrative. Themes linked to identity, belonging and survival (performativity, mimicry, reification and alienation) permeate the text.
