Detta examensarbete har till syfte att lyfta fram den skapande förmågan hos eleven i bildundervisning på gymnasiets estetiska program för att förstå hur man som lärare kan hjälpa eller stjälpa elevens förmåga till eget skapande. Skapande förmåga tillhör de centrala kompetenser som lyfts fram i skolverkets skrivelser i det inledande avsnittet om skolans uppgifter för ämnet bild. Jag har genom två undervisningsförsök och två intervjuer av lärare inom ramen för ämnet bild undersökt hur jag som pedagog kan påverka den skapande förmågan hos eleven. I mina litteraturstudier ges exempel på hur pedagogen kan främja lärandet och skapa förutsättningar som främjar skapande förmåga. Både resultat från undervisningsmetoderna och intervjuerna pekar mot att det finns metoder och strategier i undervisningen som kan påverka den skapande förmågan hos eleven; att som lärare exempelvis ge eleverna ?redskap?, sätta tydliga ramar och skapa goda relationer..

The purpose of this study is to investigate the reading methods that pedagogues, active in classes 1-3, use in the first stage of learning to read and how they consider their own choices of methods. In the theoretical background I sort out the basic differences between synthetic and analytic methods of acquiring the skills of reading. The analytic reading method means that the skills of reading starts with the complete text in order to later analyze the parts of the text. The synthetic method approach is based on a reading method where the parts are linked as a whole. The two methods are considered antipodes but can also be looked upon as complements in the current governing documents.

I FORM is the biggest health magazine of Scandinavia. It is a magazine that treats subjects like health food, training, sports gear, sex and relationships. The magazine addresses women directly and only women appear in the magazine.This is a study on how I FORM portrays women in their segment called ?Addicted to? (Biten av). It is a study of what kind of stereotypes that are used and also what kind of pictures that has been used to portrait the women.

The main purpose of this study is to get an increased knowledge of the content on the Swedish website lektion.se. The study wants to find out if the content can relate to the syllabus for Swedish and the sociocultural view of learning. The questions it aims to answer are how the content of lessons in Swedish in grade 1-5 is related to the syllabus for Swedish and the sociocultural view of learning. This has been a study of text from lessons taken from the website. The study has been made with support from qualitative and quantitative analysis of text.

Min hypotes är att layouten är det första vi lägger märke till när vi ser nya gestaltningsförslag och andra ritningar. Ändå saknas det utbildning i layout på Sveriges landskapsarkitektutbildningar. I kandidatarbetet testas olika enkla modeller för layout för att bedöma deras relevans vid produktion av exempelvis förslagsritningar inom landskapsarkitektur. När jag i det här arbetet skriver om layout syftar jag till samspelet mellan bild och text och jag har även valt att testa några olika färgvarianter för att se färgens påverkan på gestaltningsförslaget. Genom litteraturstudier har relevanta metoder för layout plockats fram; symmetrisk, asymmetrisk samt med och utan tillämpning av gyllene snittet.

The Sami people are a national minority in Sweden, but are also considered as native citizens of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Russia. The world has however a very limited knowledge about the Sami?s and their cultural background.The aim of this proposal is to examine six different history schoolbooks which depict the Sami people in Sweden. In addition, one of the key elements of this proposal is to understand how the selected literature represents the Sami people.Lastly, the proposal also seeks to review if the literature in the schoolbooks represents the elementary curriculum goals (Lpo94).The selected method was to do a text analysis of the literature and to illustrate that is presented in the reviewed schoolbooks. The text analysis is completed with an analysis of the illustrations and pictures that are presented in the selected schoolbooks.The key findings were that the review in majority of schoolbooks has stereotypical descriptions of the Sami people. The Sami people are generally depicted with the hut and the reindeer management in majority of the reviewed schoolbooks.The research about the Sami people is inappreciable in majority of the reviewed literature. In addition, the Sami people are often presented in connection with ?other? history, such as the silver ore in the mines or the territory dispute with settlers from the south of Sweden.

Detta är ett examensarbete på Malmö högskolas lärarutbildning Bild och visuellt lärande. Uppsatsen är en avgränsad del i ett utvecklingsarbete av ett läromedel för bildlärare i grundskolans senare år. Med läromedel menar jag i denna uppsats, litteratur i form av en bok som i samlad form ger bildlärare i grundskolans senare år gemensamma referensramar. Bakgrunden till utvecklingsarbetet är att det saknas aktuella läromedel i bild som är förankrade i Lgr-2011. I denna uppsats visualiseras det läromedel jag avser att utveckla i form av en innehållsförteckning.

This thesis work involves a quantitative study concerning secondary school students' understanding of older Swedish words in the lyrics in the Lucia song written by Elmfors way back in 1919th. The text has some old words and phrases that today's high school students do not really understand. The study includes surveys of two different classes in high school, a theoretical and a practical program. In some cases students can understand words by the context, but previous research shows results in general weakness in students' existing vocabulary. According to previous research, this is due, inter alia, that young people read and write less today.The results of all students are totally 38%, where the theoretical program has a slightly higher performance.

The following essay is a study of the theatre-play Min Arm, a translation and performance by Per Lasson for Fria Teatern in Stockholm 2009-2010. Actor, director and playwright Tim Crouch wrote the original script My Arm in English in 2003.With basis in intermedial theory, as defined by Jörgen Bruhn, as well as Hans-Thies Lehmann?s theory on post-dramatic theatre this study investigates the meaning-building processes in Min Arm as a theatrical performance. Concepts of the difference between stage play and performance text are borrowed from and inspired mainly by Eli Rozik?s Generating Theatre Meaning.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur tidningen ?Nya Vi Föräldrar? framställer småbarnsföräldrar i utvalda reportage. Metoden för arbetet är kvalitativ innehållsanalys och visuell metod eftersom reportagen består av både Text och bild. Analysen grundar sig på teorier från Anthony Giddens, Yvonne Hirdman och Erving Goffman. I analysarbetet har det vuxit fram olika teman som sedan har blivit mina specifika avsnitt.

This essay analyses the arguments of The Swedish Government Official Report 2008:88 which proposes that the Swedish law (SFS) should shift from promulgation in print to elec-tronic promulgation on a Website. I have studied two aspects of the arguments in the text. On the one hand, the Inquiry?s description of how things might become if their proposal becomes effectuated and, on the other hand, how the present situation is described in the text. The theory I have used is called A Garbage Can Model of Organizational Choice, which pictures organizations as often irrational in dealing with problems, solutions and decision making.

Intresset för de naturvetenskapliga ämnena tycks under de senare åren falnat hos svenska ungdomar. En rådande uppfattning kring denna företeelse är att den grundas i de naturvetenskapliga ämnenas abstraktion, komplexitet och kunskapsmässiga omfång. Denna studie fokuserar på hur genetikområdet framställs inom tre läroböcker avsedda för biologikurs A.Genetikområdet uppvisar samtliga av ovanstående egenskaper vilka anses vara bakomliggande denna avkylande inverkan på elevers intresse. Studien fokuserar medelst en läromedelsanalys innehållandes diskursanalytiska inslag hur ämnesområdets problematiska egenskaper materialiseras och eventuellt motverkas inom modern pedagogisk text. Från studiens redovisade resultat kan vissa gemensamma drag urskiljas i den granskade litteraturen.

In this exam paper, a text analysis has been conducted in the context of ethnicity, examining the most popular library books borrowed by children between the ages of 9-12 years old. The bookshave been selected at two different libraries, located in two different socioeconomic areas. The aim is to examine whether ethnicity plays a role in the choice and content of literature in the two areas. The analysis takes into account class, sex and gender, all of which combine in the context of ethnicity. The framework within which I have based my questions are; In the context of ethnicity, is there a difference in the content of the most borrowed children's books at the two libraries located in areas of diverse socioeconomic background, is the choice of literature affected by the area in which library visitors live and is the content of the most borrowed books specific to what children is each particular area can identify with ? Having analysed the most popular books at both libraries, it has been concluded that there are differences in the two areas when it comes to children's choice of literature.

The web has made an incredible amount of unorganized information available to anyone. There are search engines that help us structuring the information, but it is still difficult to find what you search for on the web. The purpose of this master's thesis is to investigate whether the already existing techniques for automatic indexing are suited for the new information retrieval context on the web and how the choice to support these techniques, or not, affects the search results. This is examined through a literature study on automatic indexing and other related concepts, such as information retrieval and information searching on the web in order to get a theoretical frame to the work and by an observation of the search engine HotBot to approach the purpose of the thesis. The observation is carried out by searching HotBot's database and investigating the search results in order to try to identify patterns that can reveal something about how HotBot's automatic indexing is done.
