The use of technology in today's society is frequent and often necessary, but how, when and where are we supposed to learn how to use it? And if it is such a big and important part of our society, then why don?t teachers get more training in how to use the technology? The purpose of this paper is to examine whether teachers attitudes to technology affects their use of technology in their teaching. In school technology can be a complementary to other material, if teachers have the necessary skills to use technology in a pedagogical way. I have chosen to do a qualitative study in form of interviews and observations at a school outside of Stockholm. The results show that both school and teachers must want to work with technology if anyone will be getting something out of it.

Social engineering handlar om metoder för att infiltrera organisationers datorsystemgenom att manipulera eller utnyttja användarna för att komma över information. Det är idag ett betydande säkerhetsproblem eftersom få organisationer utbildar sin personal i att hantera den här typen av angrepp. Med den här uppsatsen vill vi undersöka fenomenet. Intervjuer har utförts inom en stor organisation för att få inblick i hur stor medvetenheten om fenomenet är och vad som görs för att skydda sig emot det. Det finns tydliga tecken på att social engineering fortfarande är ett relativt okänt område som inte har spenderats tillräckligt med resurser på.

The fictional picture book has a potential to be a basis for making technology visible in preschool, which is a step in a new direction.

Abstrakt Social Engineering är konsten att manipulera människor, för att på så sätt vinna deras förtroende. Med hjälp av detta förtroende kan attackeraren sedan kringgå säkerhetssystem och få tillgång till organisationers information. Vi har i denna uppsats genomfört elva intervjuer på tre stora organisationer med både IT-chefer och övrig personal. Med dessa intervjuer har vi sedan försökt få en bild av hur medvetenheten ser ut samt vilka åtgärder organisationerna tar för att förhindra Social Engineering. Med denna uppsats vill vi belysa den ovisshet som råder kring Social Engineering, men även farorna och hur effektiv en attack av denna typ kan vara.

Turbulens är ett väderfenomen som har orsakat många olyckor och incidenter. Speciellt farligt är klarluftsturbulens eftersom fenomenet ej är synligt för blotta ögat, samt att det kan uppstå mycket plötsligt. This bachelor thesis is about an ultrasonic sensor, implemented in a bubble chamber in Artis. The sensor consists of the piezoelectric sensor and an electronic control circuit. The control circuit consists of a programmable microprocessor, PIC18F2420 and a circuit, which sends the excitation signal to the piezoelectric sensor, and later receives the echo. This bachelor thesis consists also of a theoretical study, which examines different techniques of liquid level sensing in a chamber. The study discusses which factors are important in liquid level sensing and examine accepted methods.

Achievements within the fields of computer- and telecommunication technology have led to a revolution when it comes to managing information. These achievements have made it possible to offer new services in healthcare, especially in telemedicine. New technology has become a complement to traditional care, thus partly compensating for insufficient time and resources. Telephone Linked Care (TLC) is a telecommunication technology that enables automated dialog counselling and monitoring of patients in their homes. During the last two decades numerous randomized controlled studies with TLC have demonstrated improvement among outpatients with chronic and health behaviour disorders.

Information about the risks involved shall be distributed to the people living in the area nearby to potentially dangerous installation. Swedish law stipulates strict requirements on what information should be supplied, but the law itself does not give any guidance on presentation. The main purpose of the study is to give recommendations on how to improve the information brochures. Within the study, eight people working with risk information have been interviewed and seven different risk information brochures have been studied. Also, a theoretical analysis and a practical experiment were performed using brochures from two municipalities.

Denna uppsats beskriver Internet i Kina i allmänhet, från dess politiska bakgrundsmotiv och inledande grunder till dess nuvarande tillstånd av dynamisk ekonomisk infrastruktur och medel för folkligt politiskt inflytande. Tonvikten läggs vid för Kina unika aspekter, såsom partiinflytande över informationsutbytet, folkliga attityder till fildelning i ett samhälle som bara nyligen erkänt privat ägande samt effekter av kulturkrockar på nätet mellan västlig och kinesisk civilisation. Det argumenteras för att Kina i en framtid kommer att ha ett stort inflytande över cybermarknader och i beslutsfattande om Internets framtida utveckling, genom tekniska, ekonomiska och politiska medel. This thesis has been carried out at the Building and Civil Engineering Programme at Chalmers University of Technology in cooperation with NCC Technology. The study aims to investigate the optimal design of a library of standardized structural solutions for in-house multi-family buildings and what benefits it brings. Today NCC use technology platforms to improve efficiency and simplify the construction process. The platforms provide the constructors guidelines on how construction details should look like, but the details are not complete. NCC Technology started in the spring of 2013 a project to investigate what benefits there are to create a library of standardized structural solutions for the constructors, with more detailed solutions than in the platforms.

The purpose of this paper is to find out if technology within pedagogy can help pupils with dyslexiaperform on the same level as their peers without using compensatory aid. Is it possible to replacethe compensatory aids with the technology in question? Can the same technology also be used tosupport other pupils as well and in turn removing the stigma of needing compensatory aid?To learn the answers to these questions I have done a qualitative text analysis. This analysis focuson technology in the form of podcasts and Web 2.0 based teaching platforms. The analysis alsofocus on pupils with dyslexia and what kind of help compensatory aids can be.
