"Outstanding" or "They ought to know more about computers" : A study on computer support at university libraries.The main purpose of this study is to investigate the support computer users are given at university libraries. Further, the aim is to find out if the users thought they received the support that they needed. The study is carried out at two different university libraries. The data is obtained through interviews with the librarians, observations of the daily work at the information counters and questionnaires handled out to the users.The study indicates that variables such as knowledge, time and equipment play a central role in making the computer support successive. To a great extent the computer support is synonymous with information search, but it also deals with word processing and technical support connected with computer errors.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to present guidelines for making a digital repository. To attain this, useful factors for creating an archive were examined. Also different organisations? strategies were analysed.

The aim is to compare building methods and building materials in Sweden, Finland and Germany for further inspiration for Peab?s own market.BackgroundThe development of the construction industry develops new materials and methods to the market which has been forced by shorter construction times and the environment aspect. To pursue the development, further knowledge exchange should exist between the countries.

Sweden has a long tradition of collecting documents by way of a process of legal deposit of copies. Its aim is to ensure the availability of material for research, cultural preservation and citizens? right to free information. New forms of publications, made possible by technical advances, are not accommodated in the traditional deposit submission criteria. Certain information accordingly risks being lost.

I denna uppsats har jag valt att studera självstärkande inslag i förskoleverksamhetens vardag och knyta an dessa till teoretiker som Erikson, Maslow samt Sommer. Undersökningen är baserad på tidigare forskning, ovan nämnda teoretiker samt en enkätundersökning. Enkätundersökningen genomfördes på en förskola med 16 pedagoger och kan därför ses som en grund för ett vidare forskningsarbete. Studien visade att det vanligaste sättet att stärka barnens självkänsla var att låta dem försöka själva innan de fick hjälp av någon vuxen, uppmuntra dem att försöka på nytt samt att ge positiv respons när de lyckades. Jag fann av svaren flest anknytningar till Maslow samt Sommer, endast några inslag kunde knytas till Erikson.In this examination I?ve chosen to look at educationalists work procedures around children?s self-esteem and how to connect those procedures with theorists as Erikson, Maslow and Sommer.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka försvarsmaktlärares uppfattning omrelationen mellan kursernas examinationsform och faktorer som har med destuderandes lärande att göra. Studien hade dessutom som syfte att undersöka omdet finns några betydande skillnader i uppfattning mellan skolor med olikakaraktär i form av generalist- eller specialistinriktning på utbildningen.Konstruktionen av empirisk data har möjliggjorts genom att vi har intervjuatlärare från två olika skolor, dels Militärhögskolan i Halmstad (MHS H) delsFörsvarsmaktens tekniska skola (FMTS).För att kunna tolka vårt resultat har vi använt oss av två referensramar. Det ärMarton och Booth teoretiska referensram om lärandet samt Biggs teorier omkonstruktiv gruppering av de faktorer som främjar lärandet. Resultatet pekar påatt det är av betydelse för de studerandes lärande att lärarna gör medvetna val föratt examinationen skall vara ett stöd i lärandet och inte enbart enkontrollfunktion. Vidare kan vi konstatera att det inte föreligger några skillnaderi uppfattning om examinationens vikt för lärandet utan skillnaden ligger iuppfattning om i vilken grad man faktiskt har möjlighet att realisera sina planermed hänsyn taget till de ramfaktorer som styr planeringen av den genomfördautbildningen..

The department Vehicle ServiceInformation construct standard times through work measurement for particularworks in the workshops. The software application STAM is used in the servicemarket to create and store standard times which then are exported to theworkshops' own systems.The purpose of this master thesis is to analyse and evaluate the internal workmeasurement system that includes standard times and the software STAM. Also,based on external analysis and benchmarking of other systems suggest appropriatefuture development within the area for Scania Vehicle Service Information.In order to perform the investigation, interviews and studies have been doneinternally at the departments that are involved in work measurement as well asexternally at Scania workshops.

GIS är inte längre en ny teknologi utan har funnits i snart fem decennier. Trots det har GIS inte hittat sin plats i den svenska gymnasieskolan, jämfört med t.ex. webb-design och andra datorteknikkurser som har funnits under en kortare tid. På den tekniska gymnasieutbildningen på Polhemsskolan i Gävle har GIS-utbildning bedrivits sedan 1999.De slutsatser som framkommer i rapporten är att en teknisk GIS-utbildning inte enbart är för elever på tekniska gymnasieutbildningar utan även för elever på andra gymnasieprogram eftersom de har samma förutsättningar att lära sig verktyget. Det konstateras även att det genom åren har funnits både nationella och internationella problem med att införa GIS-undervisning i gymnasieskolan.

The purpose with my examination is to make a contribution to how, as a pedagogue, you can work to make it easier for pupils with Aspergers syndrome that are integrated in an ?average? class. I will concentrate my work to these questions: how pedagogues can work to make it easier for pupils with Asperger syndrome that are integrated in an ?average? class. If it affects the other pupils in the class when pupils with Asperger syndrome is integrated in the class and also if it affects the pedagogues work having these children integrated in their ?average? class.I have decided to study research and other literature and also to do two interviews to find out how pedagogues can make it easier for children with the diagnosis Asperger syndrome.

The aim of this study was to examine how the activities of two preschools develop the language in matter of the teacher?s work of procedure. The following research questions were essential for the survey and therefore formed the basis of the examination:How do the teachers in both preschools work in a language evolving way?What significance does the environment have for the language development?Are there similarities and differences between the preschools in their language development approach?The study is based on a qualitative method, where the teachers of both preschools were interviewed with the purpose of obtaining information. The teacher?s statements and interviews were analyzed in relation to previous research, where the theories of different writers form the base of the theoretical connection to the study.The teachers view in developing the language regarding to their aspirations in measuring the language an important position in their operation, can be portraied as the conclusions of this study.
