Spännvidden på vingen är omkring sju meter och med den storleken kommer den troligtvis bli det nuvarande största radiostyrda flygplan som konstrueras för försäljning. AbstractCompanies in the Swedish process industry has for a long time spent a lot of capital in high-Tech development, which have given them increased ability to compete with high quality and excellent Technical knowledge, which has given them greater opportunities to grow on the market. But it?s not enough to achieve success with new products and service; it must also be consistent what market wants and preferably something exceptional. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that are predominantly success factors and how they may affect the sales target of a new product, in this case Frövi White. Another objective of the study was to examine how Korsnäs Frövi communicates and transforms information as requests and demands from customers into refined material. To obtain relevant information to the study several interviews with respondents from most of the value chain in Korsnäs Frövi has been carry out.

The ambition of this project is to make an overview of the Swedish upholstery industry and to make a suitable complement to the Carl Malmsten upholstery collection.The Swedish furniture industry employs about 20 000 people in 815 companies. Totally the branch had a turnover of 17,5 billion Swedish krona in the year 2000. Of these 815 companies most of them are small family driven companies with low-Tech industry. 10 % of the 815 companies stand for 60% of the production. These are large-scale companies and have a hi-Tech industry, even compared with other types of industries.

Ett brinnande intresse för naturen i kombination med min pågående utbildning på trädgårdsingenjörsprogrammet med inriktning design gör att naturinspirerade trädgårdar är något jag både tycker är vackert och något jag ville lära mig mer om. Det här examensarbetet handlar om att skapa ängskänsla på ett litet utrymme, med vilda och hortikulturella växter. I arbetet beskrivs olika anläggningstekniker, skötsel för de olika anlagda ängstyperna, samt gestaltningsförslag för olika slags ängar. Min huvudfrågeställning har varit Vilka växter passar i en konstgjord äng i en liten trädgård, vilka ger stark karaktär och varför passar de växterna bra? Jag har valt att inte fokusera så mycket på historia utan ger bara en snabb bakgrund till hur ängar uppstod och varför de är intressanta i trädgårdssammanhang, detta behandlas mer i min litteraturstudie.

My project aims to understand more about the methods used in making woven textiles on an industrial level, and how these Tech¬niques can be adapted to create object-specific pieces. On visiting the furniture fair in Stockholm, I was surprised to see that most of the textiles used for furniture were so similar, despite the variation in the furniture itself. My project is about creating textile patterns that are specific for each piece.The idea behind the process could be used for any product, but the pattern I created is specifically for the armchair Accent by Yngve Ekström. I wanted to create the feeling of a pattern moving over the surface of the object and adjusting to it. I worked primarily with differences in density.

Syftet med studien var att identifiera anställdas upplevelser om förändringar på arbetet. Författarna fokuserade på hur förändrings-arbetet som bedrivs påverkat de anställda ur ett hälso-perspektiv. Tidsperioden för arbetet var tio veckor. Totalt utdelades 250 enkäter, där de som tilldelades var 190 produktions-anställda och 60 tjänstemän på företaget Sandvik Materials Tech-nology, avdelning Wire. Data behandlades med hjälp av SPSS som är ett statistiskt databehandlingsprogram.

LKAB is an international high Tech mineral corporation and a world leading manufacturer of refined ironore products for steal manufacturing and other mineral products destined other industries. LKAB is an international corporation with companies world wide, with it?s main location in the north of Sweden, which is where the iron ore mines and the refining works are located. LKAB?s iron refining process in Vitåfors, Malmberget, is a source of great amounts of waste-rock.

Purpose: Our purpose is to describe and understand how a project-based, knowledge-intensive firm in the high-Technology industry creates and transfers knowledge, seen from two perspectives.Methodology: Our qualitative case study has an explorative approach since earlier studies within our positioning are absent, thus we look at KM abductively. To gain more depth to our study, we mirror our findings from our case company with data collected from three additional organisations.Theoretical perspectives: We see a clear distinction between researchers, either seeing knowledge as an object or a process. Thus, we review theories from both sides, either focusing on the creation or transferring of knowledge. In addition, theories on KM in project organisations areaccounted for.Empirical foundation: The study is based on the empirical foundation which consists of the data received through six interviews with employees at our main case company and, additionally, two interviews at each of our three mirrorcompanies.Conclusion: The study found KM being seen from both perspectives in all four firms. Through this, we found implications for how our case company could proceed in the future..

Klimatet uppmärksammas under 2000-talet på ett sätt som saknar motstycke i historien. Klimatförändringarnas omfattning och konsekvenser undersöks och debatteras. Frågan befinner sig högt upp på den politiska agendan och spelar en allt viktigare roll i världsekonomin. Behovet av en respons är överhängande. FoU har en viktig roll att spela i framtagandet av adekvata innovationer för att respondera och bromsa den negativa utvecklingen.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the forest managers view of the edu-cation at the School for Forest management at SLU and the first years of em-ployment. Surveys were sent to batches 05/08, 06/09 and 07/10 a total of 136 question-naires were sent out. 80 people answered the survey, this gives a response rate of 59 percent The former students rated according to a 9-grade scale how satisfied they were with the different courses they had attended during their years as students at the school. The courses in mathematics and statistics got the highest marks with an average of 7.3, while the entry-level course in law only got an average of 4.6. A major part of the former students had in the questionnaire enquired a leader-ship course and a business course with focus on negotiation Techniques during their education. There is a wide variety of employment opportunities for the graduated students. Timber buyers and forest managers or planners are just a few positions that for-mer students now possess. The study shows that there is a big difference in the first introduction to a new work place depending on where the student got hired.
