Enköping?s Rugby Club has long lacked a bigger hall to gather their members in, where they can meet and socializes outside trainings and games. Thanks to Enköping?s municipality, The Swedish Inheritance Fund, Swedish Sports Confederation, sponsors and club members the clubhouse will be built out with additional 100 square meters.The project is planned in two phases of which phase one is the buildup of the new clubhouse and phase two is the renovation of the existing part. Phase one started with the first groundbreaking in December 2006 and was finished for the season 2007.

Purpose There are almost infinite numbers of ways to build dairy farms in Sweden. When building a new free stall barn you have the possibility to affect both working environment and animal welfare for many years to come. The construction costs are influenced by which type of barn that is built and what functions it contains, for example one can predict that automatic milking systems are more expensive to integrate than milking parlours. But what is the real cost of today for the construction of free stall barns with milking centres and how is it affected by construction methods and functions? Is the labour time influenced by the building costs? These are some of the questions this report will try to answer.

Det övergripande syftet med studien är att ge ökad kunskap inom fenomenet teamarbete samt att öka förståelsen för läkare, kurator och psykologs upplevelse av teamarbete, i olika form, och påverkan på patientvården inom vuxenpsykiatrin. För att besvara detta har nio kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts med representanter från tre olika team inom vuxenpsykiatrin. Intervjuerna har sökt svar på professionernas upplevelser kring ansvarsområden, ledarskap och hur patienters behov uppmärksammas som följd av arbetsformen. Resultaten visar att professionerna upplever ansvarsområden som tydliga, även om vissa respondenter inte får utnyttja sin fulla kompetens. Ledarskapet beskrivs som tydligt trots att endast ett av teamen har en formellt utsedd ledare, det formaliserade teamet, som har uttalat ansvar för ledarskapsuppgifter.

Miljön på en intensivvårdsavdelning är utformad för att vårda kritiskt sjuka patienter med livshotande skador. Rummet är fyllt med högteknologisk apparatur, höga ljud, ofta flera patienter på samma sal och personal som ständigt närvarar i rummet. Närstående har en stor betydelse för patienten och de har behov av att få vara nära, få information och känna delaktighet när deras anhörige är svårt kritiskt sjuk. Intensivvårdsmiljöns påverkan på den närståendes besök är viktigt att lyfta fram för att kunna möta närståendes önskan att vara nära samt skapa en vårdande miljö där både patientens och närståendes behov beaktas. Syftet med studien var att undersöka närståendes upplevelser av att besöka en anhörig i intensivvårdsmiljön.

Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) is the definition for using BIM in the construction process to simulate and analyse the building. Resulting use of the technology will according to proponents lead to fewer construction errors, a better understanding between stakeholders for the construction project, less communication problems and a smoother construction process. Although BIM has according to researchers a big potential, few companies have succeeded in broad and continues implementation. The study aims to identify the factors affecting the implementation. More precisely identify what factors influencing the decision to adopt VDC and potential barriers in the diffusion process. The empirical findings are based on a case study of NCC Construction Sweden.

  Aim. The aim of the study was to describe how nurses in home care experience to pursue palliative care in ordinary housing. Methods. The study had a descriptive design with qualitative approach and was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 14 nurses in home health care from two medium-sized Swedish municipalities. The material was analyzed with manifest and latent content analysis. Findings. The underlying theme that emerged in the study was: Working with palliative care in the patient´s own homes is positive but challenging. Informants describe among other things that they perceived palliative home care as meaningful and that relatives have a central role in the palliative home care since they are close to the patient around the clock. The stress that emerges from the heavy work load and the long geographic distances are described as strenuous and to affect the care in a negative way. Informants describe the home environment as challenging as it is often not adapted for care and the collaboration with the palliative team is described to be experienced as both positive and negative.

Journalists and communication managers are becoming more professional and to reach out to its stakeholders in society today, organizations must work strategically with communication, to enter the news. Many make use of press releases to provide journalists with information, hoping to influence what is published on the news. With a background in the medial change that occurs is the purpose of this study to elucidate and problematize which role press releases has for newsrooms and for organizations today and in the future. A qualitative interview study has been used, and communication managers from three organizations and journalists from three newsrooms has been interviewed. The study has been combined with a quantitative pilot study of selected press releases and articles from the selected organizations.

As a student during my studies, I have been told about entrepreneurs who have red numbers in their financial statements, and there is a forest machine operator shortage in Sweden. The basic idea of this thesis was to examine the underlying factors that may have caused the problems described above. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the factors that create stress and job satisfaction as a forest machine operator. The study was performed as a comparison between forest companies own harvesting teams and entrepreneur teams to investigate if there are any differences in stress and job satisfaction between the two different types of team. The study was conducted in collaboration with SCA Skog. The material for this study was collected by doing interviews with SCA's harvesting teams. A total of 27 forest machine operators were interviewed, divided into a total of 10 separate harvesting teams. It was very similar between the different type of teams, which situations the operators experienced stress.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att klargöra vilken genomslagskraft kundbegreppet har fått inom vårdstrategier. Vi bidrar därmed i denna uppsats med att klargöra vilken syn på patienten som råder inom hälso- och sjukvården idag, om synen på patienten förändrats i och med kundbegreppets introduktion samt hur synen på patienten kan påverka kvaliteten. De frågeställningar som kommer att behandlas i denna uppsats är således följande: Har synen på patienten förändrats i och med kundbegreppets introduktion? Hur kan synen på patienten påverka kvaliteten i hälso- och sjukvården? Förbättringsarbetet kring kundorienteringen tar idag sin utgångspunkt i teorier som behandlar industriföretag. Eftersom hälso- och sjukvården skiljer sig från industriföretag genom att utgöras av människonära tjänster undersöks hur ett tjänsteperspektiv på patienten kan påverka kvaliteten.

The purpose of this paper is to clarify and understand the difference between Brunius?, Zettervall's and Graebe's valueing of a historical building, the cathedral of Lund. Between 1833 and 1963 the cathedral of Lund went through three larger restorations. The character of the restorations however differs a lot between the three church architects, Brunius, Zettervall and Graebe. In a time of low interest for the Middle Ages and of many demolitions of churches in the countryside, Brunius stood out as a researcher and an enthusiast of that special time.

Uppsalahem AB is a municipally owned real estate concern that owns and administrates housing for nearly 30 000 people. The company puts a lot of effort into reducing the energy use of their housing stock. This project is a master?s thesis in the energy systems programme at Uppsala University, carried out in collaboration with Uppsalahem. The aim of this thesis is to provide energy saving measures for fourteen student housing buildings in Uppsala, Sweden.

Citizens are in need of information to form an opinion about how society works. As a reviewer of the Public power the media plays an important role in a democratic society. The communicative power shift appears in contemporary media landscape, where technology offers great opportunities for actors to use their own channels to communicate their own image and thereby influencing power over the agenda. Alongside this, the number of communicators is increasing which makes power of resources affects the communicative whole picture. The study is based on a media profile case of the described assault and looks at what can happen strategic communicative at a police department when journalism offers a negative image.

Bakgrund: Fundamenten i vården grundar sig i ett värdefullt bemötande där patientens grundläggande behov tillgodoses. Ett fungerande team i vårdarbetet är en viktig del i att skapa en personcentrerad och patientsäker hälso- och sjukvård. Dessa faktorer är viktiga delar i ett gott omhändertagande av patienter på en akutmottagning.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att utforska vilka omvårdnadsbehov som blir tillgodosedda hos kritisk sjuka eller skadade patienter samt funktionen av teamsamverkan på akutmottagningen på Akademiska sjukhuset i Uppsala.Metodbeskrivning: En kvalitativ fältstudie inspirerad av principerna för praktisk etnografi. Med hjälp utav ett observationsprotokoll utfördes 50 observationer som sedan analyserades med deskriptiv statistik samt en innehållsanalys.Resultat: Resultaten från denna studie visar att personalen var skickliga på att kommunicera och skapa en relation med patienterna. Däremot var de inte lika bra på att göra patienterna delaktiga i vården.

Energy supply in Sweden year 2011 amounted to 577 TWh. The final energy consumption for industrial, residential and service was 379 TWh. Sweden has energy policy goals to reduce energy use in buildings. One of these goals is to reduce the energy use by 20 % in 2020 compared to the year 1995. An important step to achieve this goal is to target energy efficiency measures in existing buildings.

När Scanias maskiner som ska testa nya lastbilskomponenter eller hela lastbilar, så kallade testriggar, inte fungerar som de ska så fanns det i dagsläget en uppfattning att problemen i vissa fall dels var återkommande och dels var svåranalyserade. På grund av detta ville Scania Tekniskt Centrum (STC) införa rotorsaksanalyser av när testriggar inte fungerade som de skulle. Denna studie har undersökt vad som i dagsläget behövde förändras och vad som möjliggjorde att rotorsaksanalyser av fallerande hos testriggarna skulle fungera så bra som möjligt.En nulägesanalys gjordes. Resultaten av denna visade på att fyra roller fanns som var involverade i att åtgärda fel hos testriggarna, nämligen de som äger riggarna, de som arbetar med underhåll av riggarna, de som utvecklar riggarna och de som är ansvariga för arbetsmiljön och säkerheten hos riggarna. En process map skapades för att visa hur dessa roller i dagsläget samverkade för att bygga testriggar och åtgärda fel hos dem.Resultaten av nulägesanalysen visade på att fyra övergripande faktorer påverkade huruvida rotorsaksanalyser skulle kunna genomföras.
