The purpose of this thesis is to get knowledge about how it is to work as a librarian at Gothenburg city library during a rebuilding process and during the time when they have worked in a temporary library so called niche library. Which part did they have in the renovation project and in the niche library? The aim is also to find out how the librarians have experienced their time in the niche library and if it has affected their profession and identity.The method that is used to answer questions of the study is semi-structured interviews with four public librarians. Through comparing previous research in building and rebuilding process I have analyzed the four public librarian?s part in the renovating process and the temporary library.
LÀrare och elevers attityder kring feedback - En studie inom SO pÄ mellanstadiet
Swedish school children's results have deteriorated in recent years and formative assessment is, in accordance with previous research, a way to develop students' learning and performance. A part of formative assessment is based on feedback that students should receive before, during and after a new assignment. In this study, we want to find out how students and teachers apprehend students' development in relation to feedback and what general attitudes towards feedback can be seen in both parties. The literature and theory discussed is linked to formative assessment, both at international and national level where many important aspects of formative assessment are essential in relation to pupils' further development. The theories are based heavily on human interaction and socio-cultural perspective as a concept.

This study aims to draw attention to the discourse of Swedish language teachers and their literary repertoires from a didactic perspective. This leeds to the following inquiries: ?how to define and delineate a broader concept of text;? ?how realized is this concept in Swedish upper secondary schools;? and ?how does the use of the broader concept of text effect the ability to learn.? The empirical data comprise group interviews with six teachers who work at two different schools, in different towns, located in southern Sweden. The data are transcribed and carefully analysed by tools consistent with methodological approaches. The theoretical framework consists of discursive psychology.

The purpose with this final paper was to examine how the collaboration between parents and teachers can manifest itself. With collaboration, we mean the dialogue that has to exist between parents and teachers in regards to e.g. how well informed the parents are about the regulated principles on which the education plan is built on, and in which way they can take part in and influence the system. This is to empathize on the fact that a good collaboration between parents and teachers help create a good foundation for the pupil?s ability to learn.The method that we have used are questionnaires given to parents and teachers along with studies of literature both as means of furthering our studies as well as a basis for the design of the questionnaires.

Landscape architect is a profession that withholds varying tasks inside countries and between countries. In many countries the landscape architect profession does not exist. Spain is a country where the landscape architect profession is not recognized, and the professions that work with landscape architecture are architects, engineers, biologists and agronomists. "Paisajista", in English "Landscaper," is in Spain a common name for those who design gardens and parks. Sweden is one of the countries with most landscape architects due to its population and the profession is well established.

In this examination paper I?m using the qualitative method: phenomenographic analysis to present twenty educated and working pre-school teachers opinions about being outdoors in Swedish pre-school. The purpose is to describe the variation between different pre-school teachers? opinions, not to focus on wrong or right. Â Â The paper starts with a review over the opinions presented by the literature on the subject.
Kiwi och ASL : en kombination för framgÄng?
This paper aims to examine how, and if, music is being used integrated in other subjects thanmusic in school. The study is based on qualitative interviews and I haveinterviewed fourteachers, regardless of whether they use music a lot or not.The questions the study is basedon are if there might be a connection between theteachers' own feelings for music andwhether they use music inschool or not, how music is being used and does the use of musicgive any effects?The result of this study shows that there can be a connection between the teachers ownsfeelings for music and the fact if they use music when they teach or not. One of the teachersI?ve interviewed had bad music experiences and didnot use music in her teaching.
Antagonism och konflikt i förskolans utvÀrderingsuppdrag : En diskursteoretisk studie om utvÀrdering av förskolans verksamhet och förskollÀrarens positionering i relation till detta uppdrag
The aim of this study was to investigate how the position of the preschool teacher could come across in interviews with six teachers about their assignment to document and evaluate the preschool activity. The research done so far in this area shows that it can be a complex and difficult part of the preschool teachers work. A dilemma often described is how the teachers can be able to analyze and document the childrenÂŽs learning with the aim to evaluate and develop the preschool activity without judging and mapping the children. A special focus of the study was to see how the methods and dsicourses described by the teachers possibly could affect the teachersÂŽs position in the area of documentation and evaluation. To analyze the empirical data Ernesto Laclau (1935-2014) & Chantal MouffeÂŽs discourse theory was used, a prespective witch also figured to be the theoretical foundation of the master thesis.
Bedömning och betyg : grundskolelÀrares uppfattningar kring tidigare och tydligare kunskapsbedömningar
The school is under constant change and school reform on the conveyor belt. In 2009 the Swedish government introduced new directives for the elementaryschool, including multi-national sample, written testimonials from grade one and grade with several grades rose from grade six. The purpose of this study is to examine currently active primary teacher perceptions of the pupils' learning and development might be affected by those earlier and clearer knowledge assessments, and how teachers perceive this reform on the basis of the Swedish school's motto "a school for all". The study was carried out with a phenomenological approach where the method has been depth interviews with five active primary teachers from grades one to six in a school. The results show that teachers perceive that the earlier and clearer assessments will affect students differently according to student performance and knowledge.
Konsten att stÄ med ett ben i varje lÀger : En kvalitativ studie om mellanchefers arbetssituation i offentlig sektor
Denna studie behandlar mellanchefer inom vÄrden i den offentliga sektorns arbetssituation. Mellanchefer inom vÄrden innehar ofta en roll som sjuksköterska och en roll som avdelningschef. Den dubbla rollen kan vara problematisk dÄ man ska tillgodose den etik och moral som professionen innebÀr samtidigt som resultat ska levereras till verksamheten. Syftet med studien var att söka ökad förstÄelse för om det finns en konflikt mellan profession och verksamhetskrav samt hur denna konflikt uppstÄr. Intentionen var ocksÄ att undersöka om det kan leder till brott mot Det psykologiska kontraktet.Resultatet visade att professionen som sjuksköterska kommer i konflikt med verksamhetskraven och att detta kan leda till brott mot Det psykologiska kontraktet.
Hur ser debatten ut kring planerarens profession ut i media? : Med fokus pÄ tidskriften PLAN
Planeraren har ett yrke som kan vara svÄrt att beskriva och flera olika benÀmningar anvÀnds för samma profession. Rollen har förÀndrats och planeraren har gÄtt frÄn att vara autonom expert till att i större omfattning agera samordnare styrd av politiska viljor. Jag anser att det finns en viss otydlighet kring planerarens uppgifter och hamnar ofta i diskussioner om stadsplaneringens mindre ÄtrÄvÀrda konsekvenser och önskar dÀrmed kunna ge en sÄ rÀttvis bild av min blivande yrkesroll som möjligt.Denna uppsats syftar till att ta del av debatten kring planerarens profession och utveckling i media, och uppsatsen berör huvudsakligen begreppen profession, roll och kompetens. Tidskriften PLAN utgör kÀlla för de artiklar som anvÀnds för att representera debatten. PLAN ges ut av Föreningen för SamhÀllsplanering och kan ses som planerarkÄrens interna organ.Resultat kan sammanfattas till att det rÄder enighet kring att planerarrollen förÀndrats i takt med att antalet aktörer i planeringen ökat och dÀrmed ocksÄ komplexiteten i processen.

This is a qualitative study whit purpose of showing how teachers work whit students in need of special support in school. The purpose has been to study what teachers mean whit special aid, and if the support is individually adapted for each students needs. I have trougt interviews, observations and examinations of diverse documents found paradoxes where teachers and the scool leaders claim that they work whit the integration of all the students at school, while the teality shows a different picture. I have found a clear segregation of students, where they have on repeated occasions had to leave the classroom to receive tuition. The school stuff has a wide iiew of wich students are included in the term "students in need of special tuition".
Hur anvÀnder pedagogerna och barnen datorn i förskola och i förskoleklass?
The purpose with my degree project is to investigate the use of computers within the daily activity in three preschools and one preschool class. I have designed a survey that I distributed to the staff. The purpose of my work is to investigate how a number of preschool teachers and children in a few preschools and one preschool class in a medium-sized Swedish town are using the computer in their activities.My study shows that the computer is frequently used, both of the children and teachers, but also together. The children in my study are using the computer to play games, listen to music, and go into the websitewww.youtube.com, but also in order to write and count. Â The teachers primarily use the computer to document, check their e-mail and listen to music.

The society?s view of pupils with needs of special support in nine-year school has changed over time in Sweden. The teachers? views of the pupils have had an influence of how the special education process is designed. The aim with my paper is to make a comparative study of how special education teachers in rural schools and schools in Stockholm have designed their work with pupils with needs of special support.
Pedagogisk Dokumentation : En kvalitativ studie om förskollÀrare och barnskötares syn pÄ pedagogisk dokumentation med utgÄngspunkt i Reggio Emilia
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to highlight three preschool teachers and three child nurses? views on the educational work tool pedagogical documentation and Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, often associated with pedagogical documentation. Preschool teachers and child nurses? are all employees under the same pre-school director, and works on three preschools located in the same area. The purpose of the selection of respondents is based on highlighting how far the staff describes the concept of educational documentation, and pedagogy of Reggio Emilia, and how far their statements are consistent with each other or not.Questions: The thesis is based on three questions;How does preschool teachers and child nurses? describe pedagogical documentation?How does preschool teachers and child nurses? describe the Reggio Emilia pedagogical philosophy?If there are differences between the preschool teachers and child nurses?, what could these mean for the pedagogical documentation in preschool?Method: The study is based on empirical data collected through qualitative interviews.
