The purpose of this study is to find out how some Swedish preschool Teacher discussing how children's Swedish colloquial interaction can be enhanced in the free play. In this case where children are aged three to five.My research questions in the study are:-          What type of free play do preschool Teachers talk about in relation to children's Swedish colloquial development?-          What do preschool Teachers say about child's colloquial interaction?-           How do preschool Teachers reason regarding in what environment children?s colloquial interaction occurs?In my study I have used an interview with elements of a visual method called The Diamond. The approach is that the participants in the interview will be enhanced to discussing about a wise certain number of images. These images are then to be ranked accordingly with a specific theme and terms.If a child has difficult to speak, you can take help of  the interest the child has, the child can tell you and the other children what he or she know about the interest.

Med kläder visar vi också vilka vi är och vilken grupp vi tillhör. Vår studie syftar till att undersöka hur lärare förhåller sig till ett införande av obligatorisk skoluniform. Fokus ligger på hur ett införande av obligatorisk skoluniform påverkar eleverna i relation till mobbning. Metoden som användes var kvalitativ och datainsamlingen skedde genom tio intervjuer.

Fredriksson (2010:2-3) points out that there are several threats to the ancient writers and writings in danger of being forgotten. The purpose with this essay was to examine how to work with literary history in school, and whether and how to work with regional literature history. To fulfill the purpose of this paper three high school Teacher in Swedish were interviewed.The survey shows that respondents working in various ways with the history of literature, either in the eras, themes or projects. The perception of what literature and the authors to be affected varies between respondents, particularly the perception of the work about authors from Värmland.

The purpose of this essay is to investigate adult students information seeking. We draw a distinction between traditional timetabled studies, flexitime studies and external studies. For many adult students flexitime studies and external studies involve a new kind of studying. The new types of studies entail that adult students must apply themselves to more information seeking. In our study we investigate how the students proceed when seeking information.

The aim of this study has been to get a better knowledge and understanding of the way Teachers are working with reading comprehension in the grades 1 and 2, which was done through description of 5 Teachers way of working.The theoretical basis of this study grounds in the sociocultural perspective. I based my study on Vygotsky?s theory which claims that strategies transferred from adults to children through social interaction get internalised and then used independently. I have also made use of several theories that specifically deal with reading comprehension that allowed me to identify this area of teaching as a complex one, consisting of several elements. In order to understand a text on a deeper level a reader has to be able to infer, or read between the lines.

Syftet med studien är att ta reda på hur förskollärarna ser på barnens inflytande och delaktighet i förskolan.I studien har fokus lagts på två frågeställningar:? Hur ser förskollärarna på inflytande och delaktighet? ? I vilka situationer tycker förskollärarna att barnen ges bäst möjligheter till inflytande och delaktighet?Den metod som valts i studien är semistrukturerade intervjuer för att ta reda på förskollärarnas tankar och deras erfarenheter om arbete med inflytande och delaktighet i förskolan.  I studien gjordes valet att intervjua fem förskollärare på två olika förskole-områden i samma kommun i mellan Sverige för att kunna se skillnader och likheter mellan olika områden i samma kommun.Resultatet visar att förskollärarna ser på inflytande och delaktighet som en vardaglig sak, alla förskollärare har samma tankar kring inflytande och delaktighet samt med arbetet med både inflytande och delaktighet. Skillnaden mellan hur mycket inflytande förskollärarna gav barnen var beroende av behovet i barngruppen man hade för tillfället, vad den barngruppen behövde..

AbstractDuring my university trip to South Africa I visit a black township called Lingehlile. There I examined the life situation and education for children and youth with mentally disabilities. I was interested in knowing more about what basic condition they have, period of school and what kind of support they get outside the school. The subjects that I have handled are a school for all, support for the person with mentally disabilities and their family, the opinion of the society, education and life after school. I got my result by two interviews.

Questions about discipline have always been current within the Swedish school system, from the sixteenth century until today. The purpose of this study is to compare the discipline in two old-time elementary schools, located on Gotland, with each other.This study will compare an old-time elementary school from the countryside with an old-time elementary school from a town to show the differences in discipline between the coun-tryside and a town. This study will also focus on how questions about discipline changes from 1847 to 1937/1941. In order to do so I have studied the regulations from the two schools and compared them with each other. When I discuss discipline I will use Michel Foucault?s theory concerning the development of power and discipline in modern society.My study shows that it did not differ much in questions of discipline between the two ex-amined old-time elementary schools.

The purpose of this study is to highlight how Swedish primary school Teachers teach of and about democracy and based on this then compare with how the primary school Teachers in South Africa teaches of and about democracy. This comparison will then highlight what can be developed in the teaching of and about democracy in Swedish schools. The method used in this study is mind maps because it gives a greater depth in the way Teachers look at teaching democracy. The result of this comparison is that South Africa's history pervades the entire democracy education in school but both Sweden and South Africa use methods as dialogue and discussion in teaching of and about democracy. Furthermore, the community, curriculum, Teacher and cooperation with other Teachers also have an influence on how democracy's teaching looks like in schools.

AbstractThis study deals with outdoor education together with Swedish language teaching. In my future profession as a Teacher I want to be able to offer my pupils varied, discovering and exploring lessons focused on nature. The aim of this study is to throw light upon outdoor teaching, hoping that more people will discover nature as the right place to learn.In my study I have asked these questions:? What is outdoor education?? How can Swedish be taught out of doors?? Why is this method a good complement to the traditional teaching in the classroom?With these questions in wiev I made three qualitative interviews with Teachers with different backgrounds. In addition I have planned, taught and evaluated the lesson that is the basis of the result.Outdoor education should be given increasing time in school and be used as a complement to the traditional teaching in the classroom.

Inom undervisning av Objekt-Orienterad Programmering (OOP) blir metaforer ett allt viktigare redskap. En av anledningarna till detta är bland annat metaforers kapacitet till att underlätta undervisning av ämnesrelaterade koncept. Den här rapporten syftar till att synliggöra och analysera lärares bruk av metaforer som redskap och stöd i undervisning av OOP. För att möjliggöra det här har jag genomfört ett antal intervjuer på ett gymnasium i Skåne. Intervjuerna har skett med lärare som undervisar i OOP-relaterade ämnen.

 The purpose of this essay is to examine some Teachers' reflections on the importance of mathematics in preschool and the importance of language, communication and conceptualization in children's mathematics learning. The study's methodology is based on a qualitative approach, where I interviewed four Teachers who work with the 6 -year-olds in two different municipal schools. The study shows the importance of language and communication in mathematics learning. It also shows the importance of the Teacher's attitude as well as the educational environment to capture children's curiosity and interest.  Purpose and Issues: The purpose of this study is to investigate some pedagogue?s descriptions of mathematics in the preschool class.

In this study I?ve used qualitative interviews to examine four male preschool Teachers? interpretations of gender and their work with gender in preschool. Specifically, I?ve been interested in what thoughts male Teachers have about the preschool gender assignment, how they express these thoughts in their work, and how they perceive their role as men in preschool in relation to gender and gender equality. The Teachers express that the preschool gender assignment means that one should treat girls and boys equally and give them the same opportunities.

In Sweden there is a long ongoing discussion about computer and cellphone usage during lectures in school. The discussion has mainly covered elementary school up to college students, but this topic is at least as relevant for university students. Today cellphones are so advanced; you can do everything with one that you previously only could do with a computer, the difference is that everyone is carrying one with them all the time. This study shows how concentration during lectures is affected by the cellphone accessibility and usage. With this study we want to find out how university students perceive cellphone usage affects their own concentration during lectures.
