The aim of this study was to investigate how disabled pupils feel about school lessons in physical education. Previous studies in the area show that many disabled pupils think that this is a problem. Drawing on data from one-to-one semi-structured interviews with six students in the age of 11-14 years, this study focused on how students with disability cope with their impairments and physical activity in school. The interviewees? background displays a wide range of sport related activities and besides school the interviewees seem to be engaged in different sports associations on their leisure time.

According to Swedish school policy documents, every Teacher?s assignment is to individually adapt the education to meet every student?s needs. There are no exact guidelines about how to make these adaptations. The purpose of this study is to investigate how six Teachers interpret the policy documents and how they, according to themselves, work to achieve this. This study is built on six interviews with Teachers who work with children in the ages from seven to ten.

The aim of thesis was to, through a action research study and through individual interviews with five students, clarify their perspective on educational assistance in high school. The study shows that students prefer teaching in small groups outside of regular whole class because it gives the them access to the factors they consider crucial for a functioning support-time whit a skilled and dedicated teatcher, in a calm and safe environment. Moreover, the students claim the importance of technical equipment especially in the Swedish subject, but also in other subjects. Today the educational assistance varies from an outside-the-class teaching situation to a whole-class situation with Teacher support as well as technicaal equipment. When the student were asked to describe the cinditions under which studies can be conducted with the whole class they tried to imitate the learning environment they have in a small group.

The purpose of this project is to examine the development of the upper secondary school physics course and from this get a better understanding why the course is organized the way it is today. The timeless argument for studying science in school will begin this essay. After that the reader will be aware of when important discoveries in physics were made. Then school history is presented. In this part we are told when the first school started in Sweden, but the focus lies on the upper secondary school and the physics course.

The purpose of this study is to learn about educationalists´ apprehensions and their experiences of working with action programmes within the compulsory school's earlier years. Two issues have been composed in order to meet this purpose. They are also the foundation of the interview questions, which are enclosed at the end of the essay.The purpose with the issues is to look into educationalists´ work with action programmes. Another purpose is to find out how they consider an action programme should be formulated in order to function as a support for students in need of special aid.From the study the result shows that the apprehensions of working with action programmes are separating from one Teacher to another. The informants of the study indicate the importance differs inviting both pupils and parents to participate in the entire process.

Computational thinking was brought to the forefront in 2006 by Jeannette Wing. Computational thinking is a problem solving method that uses computer science techniques.The thesis is analyzing computational thinking and how it could be applied to graph theory. Characteristics and main fields from computational thinking is being analysed. This analysis is applied to graph theory to see the potential in developing a proposal for how an exercise can look for an introductory course in discrete data types. Only basic knowledge of graphs is required to perform the exercise.

Background Satisfaction of life and wellbeing is shown to be important when the quality of life is to be understood. The nurse has a significant role in the care of the patient and in his/her experience of life. Aim The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of life, from a nurse perspective. Method The text analysis was carried out with qualified attempts, of a book, "Quality of life a challenge for the nurse" (in Swedish) by T. Rustoen, a nurse who also worked as a Teacher in Norway.

The school is a place of work where Teachers, with different tools, are supposed to teach their students for the future. In the study the Teachers? opinions will be lifted when it comes to use of computers as a tool to teach the students how to read and write. The interpretation is that the use of computers is reflecting the development of society and the intention is to find out if computers will be used in a didactic purpose in teaching. We focused on getting knowledge about which different opinions there are among Teachers in grade 1-3 when it comes to the use of computers as a tool in teaching how to read and write.

Vi är intresserade av vilken roll barnboken har i förskolan och om både pedagoger och barn hade någon uppfattning om varför läsning kan vara av betydelse. Därför ville vi ta reda på pedagogers och barns syn på läsandet av barnböcker i förskolan, samt att ta reda på vilka likheter och skillnader det finns mellan deras uppfattningar. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning där vi intervjuat sex pedagoger och 18 barn. Vår studie bygger på ett sociokulturellt perspektiv. Pedagogerna använde barnboken främst som ett verktyg i förskolan för att främja barnets kunskapsutveckling som exempelvis språket, fantasin och faktakunskaper.

Mycket litteratur pekar idag på att elevers intresse för matematiken sjunker med stigande ålder. Den belyser även vikten av att ämnet skall innehålla lust och glädje. Matematik behöver inte vara tråkigt. Ämnet är roligt så länge förståelsen finns hos eleverna. Med detta som utgångspunkt har vi valt att undersöka vilken betydelse pedagogers olika metoder har för elevers förståelse och lust för matematiken.

This study aims to analyze four gymnasium Teachers? opinion on the values within the Swedish school system today, as well as the presence of conflicting values and goals in their role as a street level bureaucrat. A comparative aspect concerning private and state regulated schools was implemented into the study in order to compare one school system to the other. This was achieved by using semi-structured interviews with the aim to register the Teachers? opinions on these matters.The study showed that the Teachers perceive a high amount of discretion within their role as a street level bureaucrat concerning the educational aspect of their work.

AbstractThe purpose with this essay is to present a picture of the changes in religious education in Sweden, and to make comparisons between Denmark?s and the USA?s model about teaching in religion. I have consequently described the historical development, with the beginning of the establishement of the public school, inte the year of 1842. 1919, a new document about the religious education was released, wich result in some major changes. This was in a time were the debate about religion and the Lutheran State Church of Sweden authority was an issue.

AbstractMy purpose with this essey is to study how they work in preschool whir language- stimulation. I will try a way to work with this trough intervjus whit Teacher at preschool. My main questions are: Way dose Teachers use language- stimulation? How dose Teachers use language- stimulation when it comes to there way of working and methods? Do the Teachers think that language- stimulation help the childrens development?To answer these questions I interviewed 6 Teachers I central Sweden and used this as data. I have written about language, language- development in a biologik and theoretical aspect, Teachers plan, language- stimulation, playing by language sounds and TRAS (early registration of language development) in my literary review.My result shows that working whit language- stimulation helps children in there language- development, it also develops there self-image and identity.
