A study about the teachers thought about it.The purpose of this study was to examine teachers experience and views about children diagnosed with adhd, and what implication and effects it gives to the pedagogy strategies in the classroom. This is a qualitative study based on the experience of six teachers from primary school. En jämförelse av den turkiska och den svenska lärarutbildningen
This is a study, where we have deepened ourselves little more in the Swedish and the Turkish teacher training. We have both looked on the differences and the resemblances. We are also aware about that the essay builds on a small study and a limited material, special when it comes to the Turkish teacher training. Therefore we have drawn our conclusions with big caution. They are examined and preliminary, but we are than however convinced about that.
Speciallärare eller specialpedagog? En studie om speciallärares/specialpedagogers syn på sin utbildning och yrkesroll inom särskolan
In 1990 the education training program for teachers working with children with special needs was changed. One major difference in the new program compared with the former one is that the specialized teacher is now mainly supposed to supervise teachers instead of teaching pupils who have learning difficulties. The aim of this qualitative interview study has been to find out what the specialized teachers think about there education, and how this could influence children with cognitive disabilities in special schools. I have interviewed six teachers who specialized in teaching pupils with cognitive disabilities. Three of them where educated prior to 1990 and the others were educated after 1990.
Resursskola, berättigad skolform eller tvivelaktig placering? : -en studie ur elevperspektiv.
The purpose of this report is to investigate teachers views of whether pupils with Asperger Syndrome, autistic symptoms or ADHD shall go in ordinary classes or special groups. The study tells you about what difficulties these pupils often have, what adjustments they need in their schoolsituation and the positive and negative effects of joining a special group.A teacher for special needs, two teachers in special groups and two teachers in ordinary classes have been intervjued and earlier made researches have been studied. The conclusions of this study are that the decision of whether a pupil shall go in a normal class or a special group must be made individually. Most pupils who are capable to profit from the training in a normal class and pass their examination, shall go in a normal class. The greater part of the recommended adjustments are possible to do in a normal class. But it requires more resourses and teachers with better knowledges about theese handicaps..
Förskollärares erfarenheter av särskilt stöd i förskolan
Much of the everyday work of teachers in pre-schools, schools and youth centers is based on experience. This study is a qualitative interview study intended to make visible the experiences of pre-school teachers in situations when children are considered to be in need of special support. I have looked at pre-school teachers? descriptions of the kinds of situations in which a child is estimated to be in need of special support, what teachers look for in a child to identify it as a child in need of special support in a specific situation, and how the teachers define special support. Both this study and previous research show that children?s estimated need of support depends on the situation and context the child is in. The pre-school teachers in this study identify common situations where children are estimated to be in need of special support, namely: in interaction with others, in structured situations, during changes of activities and during free play.
Ibland är det svårt : Varför specialpedagogen ibland nekas tillträde av lärarna till klassrum/lektion
The aim of this work has been to investigate how it is that it sometimes can be difficult for special educators to gain access by teachers to the classroom/lesson to make observations. A partial order has been to determine whether the special educator can curb the negative response from the teacher in question, concerning access to the classroom/lesson. The survey has a phenomenological perspective as the basis of the test procedures and the analyses made. Phenomenology has as its starting point that the human does not perceive the world in the same way, and that she has different motives and intentions for her actions. In order to understand why the human act like she does, you have to create an image of the personal meaning behind this action. To create this image, I have implemented conversational interviews with five teachers at a high school, in central Sweden. The investigation revealed that it is missing that the school's teachers are clearly informed of which laws and regulations the special educator is subordinate to.

In previous research, it is primarily Malmer, Hoines, Lowing and Kilborn who´s been treated. The teatchers couldn`t fint that it was the only reason to why the pupils hade difficulties in mathematics. But in the literature I found the relation between language- and mathematicdificulties..

Förälder och pedagog : En essä om när personliga erfarenheter träder in i yrkesrollen
In the essay, the balance between being an educator and a mother of a child with autism is explored in respect to how the roles might influence the actions of a pre-school teacher. Writing is used as a method of reflection, it gives the teacher a chance to take a step back and view her practical experiences from a novel perspective; conclusions are recounted throughout the teachers narrative. The essay is based on the following questions; which problems might arise in the meeting with parents such as Adams where there is a suspicion of autism for the child? Which advantages/disadvantages might the teacher?s personal experience of autism have for the role as educator? How would the dual roles as educator and mother of an autistic child best be balanced in the future? The essay highlights special educational and parent perspectives on the matter of autism. Autism i skolan : Hur en skola är tillgänglig för elever med autism
My purpose of this study is to investigate whether elementary school is available for students with the disability of autism. If the school is just as accessible for students with autistic syndrome as for students with asperger syndrome, or if the school is marked by equal treatment. I think this is important to highlight since I think it´s a deficiency in the school's accessibility for certain students, and dilemmas occurs regarding students in need of support. In order to provide a validated result according to me, I decided to conduct interviews with a few employees and ask all of them the same questions. The interviews I conducted was performed anonymously.
Effekten av specialpedagogiskt stöd och senare resultat i grundskolan : en pilotstudie
A pilot-study was used to investigate, types of assistance, assessed needs, outcomes and effects of special-needs assistance given to a subsample of compulsory school pupils in an effort to develop an evaluation strategy for identifying educational impacts of specific special-needs inputs. Preliminary results indicate a tendency for postive outcomes for most pupils in the pilot group (n = 11) but also that many pupils have residual difficulties. Pupils with residual difficulties mostly required special education asssitance with Maths, English or Swedish. More pupils also needed support with behavioral difficulties. More research and an expanding knowledge base is required in order to effectively evaluate outcomes of teacher support. Schools need help in devising different methods of assistance and particularly for pupils with behavioral difficulties..
