Research has shown fear of childbirth to be as common among men as women, but the phenomenon has not been as studied among men. Some men have trouble talking about their fear and therefore don?t get the support that they need. Where to go to get help is not so obvious for these men. The name mostly used for this clinic is Aurora.

Denna uppsats undersöker hur grafisk formgivning påverkar image. Detta görs genom att se på Dagens Nyheter som exemplum på hur man kan jobba under formgivningsprocessen för att bygga image. Kopplingen mellan begreppet image och det retoriska begreppet ethos diskuteras och kopplas till det retoriska begreppet doxa. En fokusgruppsundersökning har använts som metod för att hämta inspiration till analysen. The purpose of this essay was to study how school welfare officers cooperate with other school staff, regarding children in vulnerable positions, and how the school staff apply their obligation to report to the social services if they have concerns regarding children at risk, according to the law of social service, SoL.We have especially focused on questions concerning cooperation, both between the school staff, and between the school and the social services. We also wanted to identify some of the restraining factors and dilemmas that could come up during the process of reporting children at risk to the social services. The study was based on qualitative interviews with ten school welfare officers from the same municipality.Our conclusions of our study are that there exists a well-developed cooperation between several organizational levels, including the school welfare officers, other professions in the schools and the social services. There were though opinions among the school welfare officers that they wanted to increase their professional claims in relation to the school nurse, due to their larger competence in talking to children. Regarding the formal responsibility to report to the social services, a majority of the school welfare officers felt they had access to the support they needed from both their principal and the students healthcare-team, and that they were not left alone in the process..

Half of Sweden's productive forest land is owned by individual forest owners. Research studies show that forest owners have more objectives with their forest than a high net present value, and that the suggestions of the forest management plans doesn?t always correspond to the forest owners? objectives. Through a qualitative study we conducted a discussion about objectives at stand level with the aim of making a more specific formulation of the forest owners? objectives. We asked about the forest owners' objectives at stand level, what forest management they conduct in order to achieve the objectives and how this management affects the net present value of the property. Based on the results of the interviews, we analyzed what kind of factors decide where the objectives place themselves in the landscape and if the objectives at stand level are consistent with the overall objectives for the property. Many forest owners questioned the idea of talking about objectives at stand level, and they didn?t always have their objectives clearly defined.

SAAB Aerotech division FGR in Arboga builds and develops equipment and components used in both military and civilian applications. To build a test system for a specific project that SAAB is responsible for requires a simple signal generator that can provide a pulse modulated signal. The need to buy a new advanced signal generator for example from Agilent is not as profitable as the instrument is expensive and contains features that SAAB does not require in their applications and test systems. That was the reason why SAAB offers two students a thesis where the goal is to construct a signal generator in accordance with what SAAB requests.This thesis contains several different phases. The first step was a meeting with our supervisor Mats Bergman and by reading the data sheets for components to be used in the project, with these information and specifications that we have received from SAAB we started to construct the signal generator.What we did during the construction work was to simulate and draw a schematic to be able to design the circuit board.

Syftet med det här arbetet var att undersöka om och i sådana fall hur tre pedagoger använde sig av högläsning i sina barngrupper. Jag ville även titta lite närmre på om högläsning kan hjälpa barnen att få bättre språkförståelse samt om miljön spelar in på något sätt för att läsro ska uppnås.Mitt resultat visade att alla tre pedagogerna arbetar ganska mycket med högläsning i verksamheten men att de jobbar på olika sätt med det. Samtliga anser dock att högläsning är oerhört viktigt för barnens språkliga utveckling, eftersom man i samband med att man läser pratar om ord samt händelser i boken. En annan sak som framkom i undersökningen var att pedagogerna ansåg att det var viktigt att det skulle finnas en speciell plats i rummet som barnen kunde förknippa med berättande och läsning. Det här var tyvärr något som inte uppfylldes riktigt i allas dagliga verksamhet, men det visar ändå på hur betydelsefullt de ansåg att det var.

Several diseases and treatments can cause problems related to sexuality and sexual health. Despite this, research has shown that nurses, for various reasons choose not to take up the subject with their patients. Aim: The aim of this literature-based study was to illuminate nurses' experiences of talking with patients about sexuality and sexual health. Method: A literature-based study where both qualitative and quantitative studies, have been used.

AbstractThe aim of the study is to investigate what the concept of ?love of reading? means and how selected teachers act strategically to increase the love of reading in pupils in grade two. The Swedish concept of love of reading (läslust) has not always had the same meaning; in the past it was used in connection with the desire to pursue further studies, while the term is used today when talking about pupils? own will to read books. The ability to read is a significant part of a pupil?s schooling, and therefore it is important to work to ensure that pupils love reading.

Bakgrund                                                                                                                                               År 2009 producerade ICA ett flertal reklamfilmer i kampanjen ?Vi kan mer? som syftade till att utmana fördomar kring personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning. Reklamfilmerna startade en livlig debatt på Internet och väckte både frågor kring produktionernas syfte och etik.Syfte                                                                                                                                    Studiens ambition har varit att undersöka hur bloggare och bloggkommentatorer uppfattat de tre första reklamfilmerna i kampanjen. Syftet var också att utröna huruvida filmerna har genererat några konsekvenser för bilden av personer med intellektuell funktionsnedsättning.Metod                                                                                                     Studien har till största del baserats på en kvalitativ metod, då syftet har varit att nå förståelse snarare än att försöka nå statistiskt säkerställda resultat. Kritisk diskursanalys användes för att analysera studiens material som bestod av cirka 80 blogginlägg med tillhörande kommentarer.Resultat                                                                                                                                  Studien konkluderar att reklamfilmerna har uppfattats på många olika sätt när det kommer till syfte och etik.

The landscape has a central part in the child?s play and in the child development and there are often no limits.

Examensarbetet är ett utvecklingsarbete som behandlar hur lärare kan använda spelfilm i undervisningen. Detta gör jag genom att se på hur olika yrkeshistoriker ser på spelfilm som förmedlare av historia. De historiker jag valt är Mats Jönsson, Ulf Zander och Tommy Gustafsson. Jag har valt ut tre teman som jag undersökt närmare och sedan utformat uppgifter kring dem. Det första temat som behandlas är källkritik.

The Swedish Armed Forces is a public institution and consequently obliged to follow Swedish and international legislation. Thus, they are subjected to contrarious demands from different actors operating in its high-technological and high-institutional environment: to be a legitimate institution and at the same time operate with a high level of efficiency. This thesis is conducted with the aim of investigating whether The Swedish Armed Forces' steering document for gender equality is used to achieve visible and quantifiable results or if the document constitute a medium for reverberating legitimacy. To answer the research question, we applied a critical discourse analysis on the relevant documents and on the conducted semi-constructed interviews with members from different levels and positions in the organizational hierarchy. Subsequently, we came to the conclusion that the Swedish Armed Forces manage the demands for efficiency and legitimacy, which are forced upon them from the technological and institutional environment, by talking about them.

The interviews with the female leaders have a more personal character with a larger focus on their private life while men gets to answer more technical questions related to their company. Women are questioned about their children and home while men are not.

Serpula lacrymans infestation has become an increasingly common problem, and is usually perceived as a tip of an iceberg.During the 21st century there has been a perceived increase of damage caused by serpula lacrymans, at AB Mats Fransson Saneringstjänst ? Anticimex in the county of Kronoberg. A similar increase has also been noted by employees at the offices in Kalmar, Karlstad, Piteå, Stockholm, Malmö, Söderhamn, Halmstad and Visby.The methods used to collect data for the project has been interviews with a number, for the project, relevant key persons, such as analysis engineers at Trygghansa and Anticimex, as well as personnel at the botanical institution at Gothenburg University and the Botaniska Analysgruppen in Gothenburg, further statistics from SMHI and analyses of reported instances of infestations have been used.The majority of the people interviewed believe that the increase is caused by renovations of old houses, higher precipitation during the summer months, as well as a moister climate and warmer winters. The latter can also be gleaned from statistics from SMHI concerning temperature, precipitation, and relative humidity.Analysed damage reports show that the most common cause for the infestation is ground moisture, even when combined wooden materials.Older houses that where built around 1900 are the ones most frequently infested with serpula lacrymans. The part of the building most frequently infested is the foundation, where cellars and suspended foundation are the most common types to be infested.
