The aim of this study is to examine the patient's understanding of the counselling while testing for an STI. The method was an inquiry directed to patients at two receptions, where tests for STI are made, and on the Internet for patients who made a test within the last year. The study involves 95 participants, 39 answered the inquiry directly after the test. The main results show that most participants are positive to Talk about their sexuality and sexual strategies with the personnel, irrespective of who takes the initiative to the counselling. Women are yet more negative then men to Talk about their sexuality, even if the test is made voluntarily by the woman.

In Sweden today it is problematic to Talk about the woman's sex. Many women are embarrassed over their sex, nor do they have particularly strong knowledge of their sex or its functions. Language difficulties also contribute to problems for Swedish women when they come in contact with a professional who works with the female sex. In our study we have researched which denomination is most commonly used for the female sex and also how the public sees the word ?fitta?.

This thesis is a discourse analysis analyzing public library librarians' Talk on the subject of public library meeting places. Within the field of Library and Information Science the public libraries' functions as social meeting places have been scrutinized for more than a decade. Researchers in the Nordic countries in particular have looked at library users' use of the library space and have highlighted the sociologic dimensions of the public library and the meeting place functions. Few however have paid much attention to the library personnel's point of view. The discourse analysis perspective is about language use and how people construct the reality.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to compare and analyze Malmö Aviation and Rica Talk Hotel's service culture. This is a qualitative study designed to investigate how professional support group leaders Talk about their role as supervisor of support groups for children and adolescents with problematic home situations. We have chosen critical discourse analysis to help us explore if there are different ways to Talk about these territories. ABSTRACT Background: The ward round is a collaboration between nurse, doctor and patient. A good collaboration and communication is essential to their interrelation. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate patients' comprehension in regard to integrity, information and participation during round. We also looked at differences about comprehension between men and women.  Methods: A questionnaire was answered by 34 patients in three wards at the University hospital in Uppsala. Results: The patients believed they could Talk openly ?quite well? but they experienced it ?sometimes? disturbing to Talk openly if other patients were in the room.

Title: ?You could Talk about it? ? a study of the experiences of victims of crime who have been receiving help from The Swedish Association for Victim Support.We got in touch with ten victims of crime through a local chapter of The Swedish Association for Victim Support and examined their emotional experiences of the help that was given to them from this organization.Background: Crime has always been a part of society and anyone can be subjected to some form of crime. Whenever a crime is perpetrated, there is always a victim. The purpose of this essay is to investigate how victims of crime emotionally experience the help they receive from the national association in Sweden who help and support victims of crime. Methods: We employed a qualitative method in the process of investigating the topic of this essay, and by employing interviews we got a deeper understanding of how victims of crime experience the help they receive.

This paper discusses how ten blogs written by librarians Talk about using games in the library. What do they Talk about and what are their arguments for using games as a learning tool, and what does this say about their views on the library?s role in society?It is examined by using argumentation analysis together with a model for identifying different roles within the library on the blog themselves. By identifying the most important arguments used and placing them within the model, the paper aims to see how the bloggers view the library as a whole and as a part of society.It showed that the reasoning among the librarians varies, but most emphasis was on seeing the library as a meeting space together as an inspirational space, and the use of games can greatly help with that. This is a study concerning the conventions surrounding death and it´s rituals during the latter half ofthe 21th century. The study´s main material is the official magazine of SBF - Sweden´s funeral association ? Memento. Sweden  has  been  characterized  as  one  of  the world?s most  secular  countries, even though  it is  becoming  increasingly more multicultural.  This,  combined  with  the fact that pupils do  not  feel  they  have  enough  time  in  school  for  Religious  Education and that the requirements are increasing made me interested in how they Talk about religion in upper secondary school. The aim of this study is to see if there are any differences between how pupils in vocational programs and academic programs are Talking about religion and Religious Education. The main questions that were raised revolved around 1)  how  pupils  Talk  about  what  religion  is,  2)  how  they  Talk  about  religion  in  the Swedish  society  and  3) how  they  Talk  about  Religious  Education  in  upper  secondary school. The questions were also about what similarities and differences I could find in the way they Talked about these subjects.

Annual reports are by many considered to be companies primary way to inform their world where the CEO's words are read most carefully by shareholders. The purpose of this paper is to examine the design of the CEO's words in annual reports in light of the financial crisis in 2008. The study seeking explanations for change, similarities and differences in the various texts based on three themes which are results, future and confidence. In this qualitative study five CEO's words are explored by means of a discourse analysis, all from large Swedish industrial companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Some of the results shown is that the CEO tends to Talk about the company's results in a self-serving manner and CEO speaks more aboutm the results before than after the crisis.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how librarians Talk about users in social media. Using a method of discourse analysis based on Ernesto Laclau?s and Chantal Mouffe?s theoretical concepts it seeks to answer the following questions: How do librarians describe and comment on users in social media? In which contexts do librarians Talk about users in social media? Which ideas of the relationship between the librarians and the users do the user discourses present?The study focuses on a Facebook page called ?Arga Bibliotekstanten? (The Angry Library Lady) and all its posts and comments during the period of January to June 2013. This is an ?open? page available for anyone to follow; at the time of the study it had approximately 1800 ?followers? and 4000 ?friends?, both librarians and users.The results show that librarians Talk about the users in a variety of ways, but mainly concerning money, behavior and task.

The purpose of this study is to examine pupils´ experiences from getting grades in upper secondary education for pupils with learning disabilities and which impact this has on these pupils how they form and get formed as schoolchildren. Four pupils in upper secondary education for pupils with learning disabilities in a Swedish community have participated in qualitative semi-structured interviews. All analysis that has been made has focused on these pupils´ stories about getting grades. I have asked openly formulated questions so that the pupils themselves have had the possibility to highlight those experiences that they want to share.Three categories that I have used, with starting point from the questions in this study, to analyze the answers in the interview material is how the pupils Talk about the bases for grading, the pupils´ self-awareness when they Talk about their own grades and the pupils´ view when they Talk about the importance of grades. The theoretical base of the study is policy enactment.One conclusion of this study is that both teachers and pupils in upper secondary education for pupils with learning disabilities often is based on other factors than what different policy documents says about what should be the ground for teachers grading.
