ABSTRACT System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a mouse-click away.

The Pedagogical progression within MSI ? Based upon The Bologna Process and UPC.In a near future several of the European countries will begin working after new guidelines concerning a declaration called the Bologna process. Everything will be done one step at a time and the declaration will change the way the students are being graded, all this for the sake of making the European labour-market moreopened for all of its millions of students.In Växjö this process is in the making, but to adapt to the future demands the school must also change its ways of teaching.To increase its quality the University has put together a procedure of actions to improve the pedagogical working method in all its institutions. In this essay we would like to elucidate how the work with the Bologna process is proceeding within the institution of Mathematics and System Engineering and whatthey do improve their pedagogical teaching. By doing a qualitative case study on the student at the Computer Science Program we wish to find the answers to our questions..

Det pågår ett förändringsarbeteinom organisationen som innebär en flyttning av produktionen i Danmark tillSverige.Fyra nya produktgrupper ska börja produceras i fabriken i Sverige vilket innebär en nymonteringsanläggning. Den första produktgruppen T4190 kommer inom en snar framtidatt börja produceras i Sverige.Syftet med arbetet är att ge förslag på hur lagring, hantering samt beställning av komponenterkan ske inom monteringsanläggningen för torktumlare för att uppnå ett effektivt monteringsarbete.Utifrån syftet har följande problemformulering utarbetats.? Hur kan komponenter hanteras och lagras på ett sätt som underlättar vid monteringenav torktumlare. Denna huvudfråga delar vi in i ett antal under frågor som:? Hur kan ingående komponenter lagras för att effektivisera tillverkningen av torktumlare?? Vilken lagertyp kan tillämpas?? Hur stora bör partistorlekarna vara för att uppnå effektiv tillverkning?? När och hur bör beställningen av komponenter ske?Med utgångspunkt i studiebesök i fabrikerna i Danmark och Sverige inhämtades relevantinformation genom egna observationer och intervjuer.

AbstractThis essay discusses different explanations and interpretations of what characterizes large areas containing clearance cairns (cairn fields). Results from the analyses show that there are different explanations about when and why cairn fields and clearance cairns occur. Explanations vary from introduction of the wooden ard in the early Bronze Age to the introduction of rational hay-making in the Roman Iron Age.  There is, anyway, relative agreement considering why and when cairn fields were abandoned. The reason suggested is an increasing pasturage with the consequence of reducing soil to poverty during the period of the Great Migration or in the Viking Age.The most likely cultivation system in cairn fields is a system consisting of both intensive and extensive characteristics. The latter coincides with the probable mobility of settlements.

This study is intended to give an impartial view of a young and complex program in Sweden titled Product Innovation Engineering program. The purpose of this program is to increase innovation capability in Sweden that will result in new companies, patents and economic growth. The results from this study might give some direction to future innovation initiatives, but should primarily serve as a tool for the PIEp participants. The study will focus on investigating the creation of the program as well as the development of its strategy. From weaknesses and strengths within the strategy of the program the study should also attempt to show its future potential.

Denna rapport, En jämförande studie av Svenskt Vattens och CAC:s syn på HACCP-processen, En utvärdering och ett praktiskt tillämpande av Svenskt Vattens Handbok för egenkontrollprogram med HACCP, skriven av Anna Järvegren Meijer (handledd av Kenneth M. Persson, professor vid Teknisk Vattenresurslära, Lunds Tekniska Högskola och Anne Levin, konsult på SWECO VIAK, Malmö) behandlar kvalitetssystemet Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) och fokus ligger på tillämpning inom beredning och distribution av dricksvatten.Rapporten består av tre delar. I den första redovisas HACCP-processen och de arbetssteg som Codex Alimentarius Commission har tagit som praxis. Här jämförs också Svenskt Vattens syn på HACCP i Handbok för egenkontrollprogram med HACCP med just CAC:s. Det konstateras att skillnader finns då Svenskt Vatten har valt att inte följa CAC:s praxis till punkt och pricka utan utformat arbetsgången annorlunda.Den andra delen av rapporten handlar om hur användarvänlig Svenskt Vattens handbok är i praktiken.

The Library of Uppsala University has decided to change their classification system from the Swedish SAB system to the American Dewey Decimal Classification. One of the main reasons for this decison was that Kungliga biblioteket also has made an exchange between these systems. Due to that, the national bibliography of Sweden classifies Swedish documents according to Dewey Decimal Classification and the SAB system is no longer maintained. A transition to Dewey Decimal Classification will enable Swedish librarians to import foreign catalouge posts and classification codes and will provide them with a common standard between their libraries and other libraries due to the use of the same international classification system. It is disputed whether the Dewey Decimal Classification is equally suitable for all subjects.

This degree project is made for Sundbyholms Golf&Country Club in Eskilstuna. The aim of the report is to produce a website which include a golf course interactive guide and an online game. Programs that have been used during the project are Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Director, Discreet 3DS Max and the plug-in 3DS Max Exporter. The choice of programs are based on experience and knowledge from the university education Media and Communication Engineering at Linköping University. The golf course guide contains a 2D-guide (image) and a 3D-guide (interactive image).

This master?s thesis focus on Dewey Decimal Classification during the period 1932 to 2011, where the classification of the psychological knowledge domain is analyzed and discussed. In the light of the recent swedish switch from the swedish classification system SAB to DDC, this research area deserves prominence. The aim of this study is to investigate how DDC represents the historical development of the psychology subject with its underlying epistemology, to identify and analyze values and prejudice, and to analyze problems with DDC?s classification of psychology in relation to three other classification systems.

This thesis has been performed for the company System Andersson as a part of the bachelors degree in information technology at the School of Engineering in Jönköping. The thesis is based on the development of an iPhone application.System Andersson has an application for Android that is being used for their MPS system (material and production control system). Their customers, however, have also showed interest in being able to use this application for iPhone.The students handle the subject of iOS developing, including the design of the application, the use of the development language Objective-C, the use of the scripting language of Json used for server connections and SQL.The primary goal with this thesis has been to improve the students knowledge in such subjects as application development for mobile platforms, in such areas as Xcode, which is the development platform that Apple uses and Objective-C, which is the development language being used. The result of this thesis is an almost fully functional iOS application, similar to the Android application with some functionality missing..

Examensarbetet är utfört vid BAE Systems Bofors AB i Karlskoga. Projektet har gått ut på att utvärdera den nya teorin STAMPoch testa det tillhörande verktyget STPAinom säkerhetsarbete mot det avgränsade ARCHER-systemets delsystem granatgrip-/lyftdon.I dag blir systemen mer och mer komplicerade och de nuvarande metoderna har inte utvecklats i samma takt för att göra en grundläggande säkerhetsanalys då många av olyckorna härrör från oförutsedda interaktioner. Teorin och verktyget är en nyutvecklad metod för att identifiera och värdera risker i ett system eller en produkt. Företaget har ännu inte satt sig in tillräckligt i professorn på MIT, Nancy Levesons rapport som ligger bakom denna nya metod för att arbeta med riskbedömning. Eftersom det är en relativt ny teori inom säkerhetsarbete så finns det inte speciellt mycket forskning att tillgå och antalet källor som finns tillgängliga är få.

The aim of this thesis is to study Viking Eggeling?s artwork Diagonal Symphony together with Eggeling?s own art theoretical writings. This method of reading Eggeling?s art theoretical writings with the aim to try and create a deeper understanding of his art and especially Diagonal Symphony is a new approach in Eggeling?s art historical discourse. The thesis starts with a description of how the field of art history has understood Eggeling and his art primarily through art historical research aimed at Hans Richter.

Pharmaceuticals are environmental pollutants that are a major threat to aquatic ecosystems and very little is known about their ecological consequences. In this study growth, survival and behaviour (sociability, activity and boldness) of perch fry (Perca fluviatilis) were examined in order to study the possible effects of exposure to a benzodiazepine anxiolytic drug, Oxazepam, during embryonic development. The study tested following hypotheses: (1) perch growth is affected positively by exposure during embryonic development; (2) early perch survival is affected positively by exposure during embryonic development; and (3) boldness and activity increases while sociability decreases in perch fry exposed during embryonic development. Embryos of naturally spawned perch were exposed to water with two different concentrations of Oxazepam. The embryos were exposed during different parts (24-hour periods) of the embryonic development, because embryos may be more vulnerable at certain times during embryonic development and/or because the exposure at different times can produce different effects.

MindMe is an aid for people with cognitive memory impairments. The aid is completely new and has beendeveloped within this bachelor thesis, no product of this nature could be found on the market before. Theidea came from Niclas Jarhäll, CEO of Mutual Benefits. Mutual Benefits were also partners in the project.The project was carried out by us in cooperation with Bachelor of Science in Innovation Engineeringstudents Malin Albertsson and Victoria Hedman at Halmstad university. The aid consists of a mobile phoneand a number of tags.

Det är idag fortfarande en stor del av alla IT-projekt som misslyckas och kravhanteringen har fått en större betydelse för om ett IT-projekt ska lyckas eller inte. För att en större möjlighet till att ett IT-projekt ska lyckas används kravinsamlingsmetoder, dock är det viktigt att rätt kravinsamlingsmetod väljs till det specifika projektet. Om fel kravinsamlingsmetod väljs från början kan detta ledda till en misslyckad systemimplementation. Därför har författaren av rapporten valt följande huvudproblemfråga att undersöka i denna uppsats: Vilka råd rörande metodval kan ges till organisationer som ska implementera och välja en kravinsamlingsmetod? Med hjälp av enkäter och djupare intervjuer har författaren samlat in tillräckligt med material för att spegla de svar som framkommit i slutet av rapporten.
