Verksamhetsanalys Jämförelse mellan IAEA och OKG AB inom E.ON-koncernen
The safety and safety work on OKG, Oskarshamns Kraftgrupp, is supervised by SKI, Swedish nuclear power inspectorate. The task of SKI is to inspect that the nuclear power plants of Sweden runs in a safe way. The proprietor of the permit who runs nuclear power plants has the responsibility to maintain the required safety to run a plant. SKI publishes a number of statue books that OKG has to meet to be able to run the plants. SKI recommends in SKIFS 2 004:1, that OKG work with the safety requirements of IAEA.

The thesis describes the following main question:
Will the administrative labour during football tournaments be made easier with
the help from a mobile web service or will it convey to unnecessary extra work?
To be able to give a good and qualified answer to this question, the thesis
will in
the beginning describe how the technique for such a system might look like and
also describe the existing administrative moments during a football tournament,
this is too give the reader a deeper understanding for further reading. The
thesis
then goes on to describe a concrete system which is tested on three football
tournaments. On the basis of the tests, interviews and through analysis of these
the thesis will be able to answer our questions.
The result which we present in the thesis have unfolded through testing of the
system on three chosen football tournaments. The differences in way of labour
pre and post the system have been analyzed and through interviews the value
of these changes have been assessed.
The results achieved in the thesis are as follows, the presented mobile web
service does not only decrease the total work effort made by the tournament
officials it also speeds up their work.

En studie om fastighetstaxeringssystem : -Vad kan Sverige lära av England och Wales
According to the client, land survey of Sweden, there is no current information regarding other well developed property tax systems. This information is necessary in order to analyze the effectiveness and develop the Swedish system. The purpose of this study is to contribute with improvement proposals to the development of the Swedish property tax system through a survey of the English and Welsh property tax system.Methods used are: (1) a literature review where the English and Welsh valuation methodology and organization regarding property taxation is studied; (2) an interview with the client at the land survey of Sweden regarding existing problems with the Swedish property tax system; (3) An interview with a contact person of the Valuation Office Agency regarding the English and Welsh property tax system.In England and Wales there are two different property taxes for municipals, Council Tax and Rating. All domestic properties are included in Council Tax and commercial properties or part of commercial properties is included in Rating. Council Tax is based on the properties market value and Rating is based on the commercial property or part of the properties current rental value.
Dynamiska gränssnitt för dataspel
Denna rapport beskriver utformningen, implementationen och utvärderingen av en arkitektur för dynamisk hantering av grafiska gränssnitt. Den dynamiska hanteringen handlar om möjligheten att ladda in och ladda ur gränssnitt som är specificerade i dokument utan att starta om spelet.Arkitekturen realiserades genom att implementera ett system i C++. Resultatet blev ett fullt fungerande system som klarar att hantera flera gränssnittsdokument dynamiskt. Dokumenten som hanteras av systemet är skrivna i XML format som fungerar väl för beskrivning av gränssnitt.Arbetet kommer fram till att förutom möjligheten att beskriva gränssnitt i form att kontroller och deras egenskaper behövs ett system för att hanterade händelser i gränssnittet. T.ex.
Fjärrvärmesystem
This is a report written for an examination project C-level, on the subject of energy. The examination project is a product of the FVB Sweden AB (district heating bureau). It started with a meeting with Stefan Jonsson FVB Sweden AB, were he explained the content of the project, and from this a presentation of the problem was made. The problem that needed to be solved was how they could control the valves in the system to provide heating to everyone in the system. The valves are often oversized so the pump in the heating plant would have to be enormous to be able to provide enough flow to be sufficient, if everyone in the system had there valves fully opened. I came up with two solutions to the problem, one was a wireless network that could keep track of the valves and the other solution was an extra sensor that was placed on the radiator.

Emission of nitrogen oxides as well as carbon monoxides is an inevitable result of combustion. A Swedish law "Law of environmental fee for emissions of nitrogen oxides as a result of energy production" (lagen om miljöavgift på utsläpp av kväveoxider vid energiproduktion (SFS 1990:613)) controls the emission of NOx from energy production by a system of fees. The system has resulted in a strong approach toward less emissions of NOx among the energy production plants. High emission levels, today exceeding 52 mg/MJsupplied fuel, leads to costs for energy production companies. This paper examines possibilities to reduce the emissions of NOx by optimization of the SNCR-technique in a biofuel fired heat and power plant.
User Interface Design for Analysis of Sensor Systems
In the future network-based Swedish Defence (NBD), attaining information superiority will be of great importance. This will be achieved by a network of networks where decision-makers, information- and weapon-systems are linked together. As a part of the development of NBD, we have performed a study of user interface design for a future network-based tool package for analysis of sensor systems, referred to as the C2SR-system. This thesis was performed at Ericsson Microwave Systems AB, Sensor and Information Networks, during the autumn 2002. A pre-study concerning the requirements of usability, trustworthiness and functionality of a user interface for the C2SR-system was performed.

Despite a lot of technological breakthroughs over the last decades and the occurrence of video-conference applications and other tools for communication and collaboration, cultural and geographical issues have so far not yet been completely resolved. In this study I have made a literature study over distributed system development to form a set of central factors that affects the distributed development process.

The National Property Board (SFV) has been appointed by the Swedish government to administer all property of cultural value owned by the Swedes collectively. The commission includes maintaining the soul and character of each individual building, to adapt these buildings to present needs and requirements, and furthermore making them available to the public. The return on equity demanded by the government is based on the CAPM used within the real estate industry. The theoretical assumption that organizations are either function-driven or pay-driven will serve as a starting point, after which SFV will be defined as a function-driven organization with a pay-formed management control system. This paper aims to examine how applying a pay-formed management control system will affect a function-driven organization.

AbstractIn the fall of 2003 a project was started in the Swedish building sector that is called BASTA (the building sectors’ termination of especially harmful substances). The project is operated by the building companies NCC, Skanska, PEAB and JM, the Swedish Building Industry and the Swedish Environmental Institute IVL. The purpose of the project is to create a common environmental assessment system for the entire building industry and with the help of this system phase out the use of especially harmful properties from building products.In a large sense BASTA works like this; On the BASTA web site there is a database, to which a supplier can register the company and the company’s products. Only those products with a substance content that fulfil the demands of the BASTA system, is to be registered. As it is the supplier himself that carries out the registration of the company and the company’s products to the system, the BASTA-organisation annually controls that the companies that are registered in the database, fulfils BASTA’s demands.Since NCC is one of the companies that operates BASTA, BASTA is probably going to be the environmental assessment system that is recommended for the company in the future.

Soil carbon, pH and yield development in a long-term humus balance trial
Agriculture has to be performed in a sustainable way in order to sustain high yields and to support a globally growing population. Functional soil properties are fundamental for high yields and in order to achieve good soil conditions sustainable management is a key. Loss
of soil organic material and increased soil acidity are problems associated with degradation of soils and hence less sustainable agriculture. In this thesis, the effect of different agricultural systems on soil organic matter, pH and yield was examined. The systems examined are a cereal system with straw removal or returning and a ley system, all with different nitrogen levels.

På dessa nivåer finns olika chefer som har till uppgift att leda och fatta beslut i viktiga frågor. Ett beslutsstödjande system är ett system avsett att stödja en beslutsfattare när denne skall fatta beslut i semistrukturerade beslutssituationer. Tanken med ett beslutsstödjande systemet är att det skall vara ett hjälpmedel för beslutsfattaren och utöka dennes beslutsförmåga men inte ersätta hans eller hennes omdöme.
