The project, Flexible Snowboard System, has been carried out by the project group independently and is a module developed for snowboarders, ski rentals and ski schools. The problems of today?s solutions are that they cause the user an inconvenient standing position when riding the ski lift or skating the transportation slope, also mounting, adjustments and disassembling of the bindings are time consuming and brings undesired wear to the screws and screw holes. In addition any adjustments require that the user steps out of the bindings and have tools at hand. Flexible Snowboard System is a universal module which means that it can be assembled with all of today?s snowboards and bindings.

Examensarbetet initierades för att undersöka hur fordonstillverkare på ett effektivare sätt kan hantera ochdra nytta av den växande marknaden av elektroniktillbehör så som mp3-spelare, GPS-navigatorer osv.Dessa produkter går förstås redan att använda i fordon idag, men är oftast inte möjliga att kontrollera medfordonets inbyggda kontrollenheter som till exempel volym knappar i ratten. En anledning är frånvaron aven standard över hur elekronikprodukter ska kommunicera med varandra. Produkterna är i första handdesignade för att användas separat, en mp3 spelare har interface (USB) för filöverföring, men är för övrigtinte möjlig att påverka utifrån för att t.ex. byta låt.Rapporten beskriver hur ett system kan designas för att lösa detta problem. Inspiration och tekniskalösningar har tagits ifrån ämnen som autonoma system där några av dess grundläggande funktioner harstått som bas för framtagande av tekniker och lösningar.

Med acceptans menas att användarna ska kunna utföra sina arbetsuppgifter på ett bra och lätt sätt. Studien har gjorts utifrån användarnas perspektiv.Genom att genomföra en intervjuundersökning på ett flertal kommuner där användarna använder systemet Vabas/Duf, har undersökts hur användarnas upplevda acceptans påverkas av faktorerna delaktighet, användbarhet och lättanvändhet, vid införande av ett datoriserat system. Delaktigheten vid införandet av ett system innefattar även information och utbildning.Resultatet från undersökningen visade att delaktigheten ökade användarnas acceptans. Ingen avgörande slutsats kunde däremot dras mellan acceptans och faktorerna användbarhet och lättanvändhet, då resultatet från de båda grupperna inte visade någon märkbar skillnad..

This report describes how the system may be exposed to oscillations and how this can lead to resonance. Resonance is a phenomenon that occurs when a system is affected by external periodic oscillations with frequencies close to the system's natural frequencies. Structures subjected to resonance can risk great damage and destruction, why resonance is something that is important to take into account when designing structures. Alternative ways to counteract resonance is to supply damping in the system. Damping means that the resonance decreases instead of letting the amplitude increase.The report discusses some examples on constructions that have experienced the effect of resonance.

Computer use at work has risen considerably over the past fifteen years and is currently a relatively common phenomenon when 76 percent of women and 72 percent of men using the computer in their daily work (SCB Arbetsmiljörapport 2009).According to Gulliksen and Göransson (2009), Sweden is one of the countries which are more advanced in the procurement of computer systems at work. He means that Sweden has unique opportunities and conditions for user participation in the development of computer systems, when the user has the right to influence their working environment through a law in the Work Environment Act. The paper examines the importance of user involvement in system development and the Swedish company's approach and experience of user involvement. To highlight and explore the importance of user involvement, there has been a case study in which users have been representative of the development process. The case study has been conducted on a case company where the system IST analys was in need of a new interface.

Inom industrin används olika testmetoder för att uppnå hög kvalitet i mjukvarukontrollerade system. Kvalitetskraven är särskilt höga för säkerhetskritiska system t.ex. styr- och reglersystem i fordon. I det här examensarbetet används två analysmetoder (Fault Mode and Effects Analysis och Fault Tree Analysis) för att ta fram ett nytt säkerhetstest för ett broms- och växlingssystem som Scania tillverkar. Denna uppsats syftar att undersöka samt ta fram en modell över ett system i PC Spelet Power Soccer där användaren själv kan designa sin egen hemmaarena med hjälp av ett webbgränssnitt. Arbetet inleds med en begränsad enkätundersökning där användare fick bedöma betydelsegraden av olika inslag i en fotbollsarena. Efter resultatet av denna enkät togs en modell fram i Autodesk Maya med ett modulbaserat system. This thesis work has been performed at the department of diagnosis and dependability at Volvo Car Company, Torslanda. The background of this project is based on interest in ascertaining how different factors possibly can affect a diagnosis method, which has been developed to find leaks in the fuel tank and evaporation system. According to the OBD II requirements leaks with an orifice diameter larger or equal to 0,5 mm, must be detected. The idea of the diagnosis method is to create an over pressure in the system with an air-pump. The current through the pump is measured and correlates to the power consumed by the pump.

Since the background describes the importance ofenergy efficiency and optimization in a house, the focus area of this report will be an investigation ofdifferent types of heating systems in order to be able to choose the one most suited for the house.Aspects considered when choosing the heating system was how economic the system is both inservice- and investment costs and how environmental and operational friendly the system is.Through literature reviews there were sufficient information gathered that served as a foundation whencomparing and choosing between the four systems - district heating, pellet-fired boiler, geothermalheating and solar heating.

I uppsatsen undersöker jag hur handelsavtal påverkar handelsströmmarna mellan länder. Engenomgång av de olika handelsteorierna görs med en början hos de klassiska teorierna för attdärnäst gå vidare med de nya handelsteorierna. Utgångspunkten i uppsatsen är teorin om navoch-eker system med fokus på Barcelona processen, avtalet mellan EU och Chile samtavtalet mellan EU och Ryssland. Här kan det påvisas att handel påverkas positivt när länderingår avtal med varandra. För att få den största effekten på handel krävs ett samarbete utöverett borttagande av tullar mellan länderna men eftersom det tar ett tag att anpassa sig till denya förhållandena som ett avtal innebär är det svårt att på ett tidigt stadium avgöra avtaletseffekter.

With the increased significance of information technology (IT) in today?s society the term ?electronic democracy? (e-democracy) has gained much importance within the democracy theory. Naturally, there are several competing views on how the technology should be used for democratic purpose. One aspect of this is the somewhat revitalized claim for direct democracy in accordance with the hypothetical opportunity to finally realize it as a democratic system. The ideal of direct democracy combined with the almost total credence in the potential of technology constitute the idea of a ?push-button democracy?.

This thesis has been carried out in cooperation with a company which develops mobile sensor platforms. The sensors measure different types of data such as temperature, pressure etc.. They will communicate through the internet with a server that stores data in a database. This system will be controlled and monitored through a web page. The project's aim has been to develop this system and to implement a server, a database, a website and a client application that simulates sensor signals.
