BAKGRUND FODMAP är en behandlingsmetod för IBS som kommer från Australien och som är relativt ny i Sverige. FODMAP betyder Fermentable Oligo-, Di- and Monosacharides and Polyols och går ut på att begränsa mängden fermenterbara kolhydrater i kosten. Dessa kolhydrater har i studier visat sig kunna orsaka många av de symptom som IBS-patienter lider av och att så många som 3 av 4 av de patienter som testar behandlingen får reducerade symptom.SYFTE Syftet med studien var att undersöka och belysa dietisters erfarenheter, uppfattning och hantering av FODMAP.METOD Kvalitativa intervjuer baserade på en semistrukturerad frågeguide genomfördes. Totalt 12 dietister intervjuades och samtalen skedde via personliga besök eller telefon. Intervjuerna spelades in för att sedan transkriberas.

Background: Diabetes mellitus Type 1 is one of the most common chronicle diseases in childhood. This signifies big changes in the daily life for the child and its family. Aim: The aim of the study was to illustrate the family?s situation when the child falls ill in Type 1 diabetes. Method: The search for literature has been done both manually and in databases.

Background: In previous studies on the subject hope it has been revealed that hope is an important condition for the experience of health, quality of life and well-being. In the literature hope is described as a great support in life that is vital for a person's life and for how the person manages to become afflicted with a fatal disease. Within palliative care the 6S: s is a person-centered model for care that is directed towards the promotion of patient´s participation, relief from suffering and enablement of well-being and support of the patient and his or her family members. Aim: To describe how patients find hope in their situation in palliative care, and to examine whether there is an interaction between the different dimensions of 6 S: s model and with patients' experiences of hope. Methods: This degree project is literature study.

The tick-borne disease bovine anaplasmosis is primarily caused by Anaplasma marginale. A variety of wild animals act as reservoirs for A. marginale, but the understanding of their role in the epidemiology of A. marginale is yet poor. This cross-sectional study was conducted to establish if proximity of wildlife affect the prevalence of bovine anaplasmosis in cattle.

Just detta skedde år 2008 och 2011, då ett flertal av världens länder drabbades av en stor finansiell kris. I skuggan av dessa kriser växte en social rörelse fram vars syfte var att uppmärksamma människor om vad som, enligt rörelsen, egentligen hade hänt. Rörelsen som växte fram är känd som Occupy-rörelsen.

The project Easy Battery Handling - EBH has been carried out in our auspicial and completedfor Devantini Corporation, a development company in Halmstad with its main concern inenvironmental friendly innovations.EBH has solved one of many technical challenges in one of Devantini corporation?s largerprojects. This main project involves the development of an electric powered formula racingcar. The part of this car that involved EBH was the battery handling to guarantee safe andquick battery exchanges during pit-stops.The solution became an entire battery module, hanging on the side of the car on two spearspointing out from the car. The batteries are exchanged by a specially designed trolley that isinserted under the battery module.

The aim of this essay is to examine how parents to children with large undiagnosed behaviour problems experience the parent role and the support they can obtain in their role as parents.To get a deeper description of the parent?s situation a qualitative method is used for the study. The interview carried out through a personal meeting and a question schedule with opened questions where used.The answers of the interview show that parents experience lot of problems. The children don?t get the support in school that the parent think they need because the child don?t have diagnose.

Det är känt att tandläkare har en ökad frekvens muskuloskeletala besvär från nacke, övre extremiteter och rygg samt upplever mycket stress i sitt arbete. Studier har visat att tandläkare som har dessa besvär upplever sin arbetssituation som mer otillfredsställande och rapporterar mer ångest samt visar sämre psykosocial hälsa.Studien har genomförts med syfte att undersöka frekvensen av muskuloskeletala besvär, stressrelaterade symptom, skillnader mellan de som arbetade i offentlig respektive privat regi samt skillnader mellan kvinnliga och manliga tandläkare. I Uddevalla och Vänersborg valdes ut 32 tandläkare, 16 vardera från privata och offentliga mottagningar. Åtta kvinnor respektive män i vardera gruppen. Undersökningen gjordes i form av en enkätstudie.

BakgrundI Sverige bor 72 % av barnen med sina båda biologiska föräldrar. I min hemkommun bor 78% av barnen med sina båda biologiska föräldrar. I mitt arbete som föräldrarådgivare träffar jag dock påfallande ofta föräldrar som är frånskilda. Det visade sig att en majoritet av de föräldrar Föräldrarådgivningen träffar är frånskilda. Men, hur ser det ut inom andra socionomers arbetsområden? Jag började också undra över denna omvändning av statistiken.

In recent years, more of high stakes (National exam- NP) have been introduced in Sweden and now (2015) the government has decided that the NP in social sciences- and natural science in 6th grade is optional in order to reduce teachers' administrative burden. Based on these reforms, to have more tests in more grades and also on the decision to remove the test, the purpose of this study is to examine how teachers perceive the work of the (NP).A quantitative research was done in the form of questionnaires. The study was based on questionnaires regarding the time for working with the NP and of the intention that the NP should be a support for teachers.The result of the study is linked to school development and the constructivist theory of learning. The results show that teachers perceive work with NP takes a lot of time, where as the time for administration seems to take slightly lesser time than the time for assessing the exams. The results also indicate that teachers perceive NP as supportive, mainly in relation to the curriculum.

The aim of this paper is to study intra household allocation of capital income by using data on Swedish observations. The 1991 tax reform was to change the taxation on capital income from a progressive to a flat tax system. Before the tax reform there were incentives to allocate capital income to the spouses with the lowest income of labor in order to reduce the total tax burden. The data describes the year of 1989 and 1993, those we choose to examine. Using Swedish data from LINDA database we estimate a quotient by ordinary least squares (OLS) regression.

Whiplash is a bodily injury, where the person that is injured is subjected to force towards the neck, mainly in traffic accidents. Even low speed accidents can cause severe damage due to the complicated muscle and nerve structure of the neck. Symptoms range from neck aches and headaches to numb fingers and this makes the Whiplash injury difficult to diagnose. Whiplash is also a treacherous injury due to the fact that the symptoms can not be objectively verified. The principal symptom of the injury is pain, which is to its nature highly subjective.

The aim of this study was to examine nurses knowledge and attitude towards HIV/AIDS patients over the world. A descriptive literature study has been made based on scientific articles from the databases PubMed and Cinahl. The authors have examined the sampling and the falling off of the articles. The result shows that the attitude towards HIV patients is different from one country to another. The attitude was affected by several of factors such as experience, fear, knowledge / education and the nurses attitude and willingness to care for these patients.

Syfte: Syftet med denna systematiska litteratur?versikt var att unders?ka effekten av probiotika p? gastrointestinala symptom efter bariatrisk kirurgi. Metod: Litteraturs?kningen gjordes i PubMed och Scopus. Artiklar som inkluderades inneh?ll patienter i ?ldrarna 16-60 ?r d?r operationsmetoden Gastric Bypass (GBP) genomf?rdes. Interventionsgruppen fick probiotika efter operationen medan kontrollgruppen fick placebo.

Denna litteraturstudie behandlar förgiftningar hos hund med begränsning till förgiftning orsakat av etylenglykol och råttgift. Vilket av dessa ämnen som är farligast och hur stor risken är att en hund får i sig dem är två frågor som kommer att undersökas. Det kommer att tas reda på mer om hur det ligger till med etylenglykolets påstått söta smak. Syftet med studien är även att utreda om allmänhetens medvetenhet behöver ökas om vanliga potentiellt farliga ämnen för våra husdjur. Att hundar utsätts för förgiftningar är inte ovanligt och antalet försäkringsfall där hundar blivit förgiftade har ökat mellan 2010 och 2014. Om en hund utsätts för ett giftigt ämne är det mest optimala att så tidigt som möjligt hindra giftet från att absorberas från gastrointestinalkanalen och därmed hindra att det gör någon skada.
