During year 2007 ClaraHälsan Ltd bought the company health service Solstahälsan in Karlstad. The wide merger of the two health services the problems arose around the employees? employment agreements when certain parts of the agreement differ. At a transition of a company, in this case a health service, the rights and obligations for the employees will pass on to the new employer according to directive 2001/23/EG who came in force in the swedish legal system in year 1995. The former employer is only responsible vis-à-vis the employees ?for economic obligations related to the time before the transition, the code of protection of employment 6 b §.

Att välja en stor och trögrörlig eller en liten och snabbfotat fond kan vara av avgörande karaktär när man ska se till utvecklingen.Problemformulering: Har fondstorleken betydelse vid placering i fonder under lågkonjunktur?Syfte: Klargöra huruvida fondstorleken har betydelse för avkastningen vid placering i svenska aktiefonder under lågkonjunktur.Metod: Studien använder sig av metodtriangulering där ett kvantitativt upplägg kombineras med ett kvalitativt inslag i form av en intervju. En deduktiv ansats anammas.

Participation as Pedagogy ? Imagined Race and the Exhibit of Swedish Peoples-Types.This essay will analyse and give a deeper picture of the ?The Exhibit of Swedish People-Types? by focusing on the pedagogical ideals that formed the exhibit as an participatory media. The exhibit was led by the famous race-biologist Herman Lundborg and toured Sweden in 1919 displaying the racial constitution of the Swedish population using material gathered by the public itself. The exhibit has been described as an important tool in popularising eugenics in Swedish society during the early 20th century with the ambition of gaining funds to create the first race-biological institute and to influence policy-making. Nevertheless there has not been a single study which has focused solely on the exhibit and how the pedagogical ideals that permeated it affected the relation between the public and the media itself nor the political implications of this relation.

Foreign aid is a very debated and controversial topic. The most recent studies have focused more on GDP growth and foreign aid correlation, however not much of the debate has focused on what kind of foreign aid should be given. The most common foreign aid is budget support, often a bilateral funds transfer between two countries. This kind of foreign aid can be both conditional and unconditional from the donors? perspective.

Common wisdom dictates that because payment of dividends decreases funds available for investment, a high payout ratio is to be associated with low earnings growth. This notion has been challenged in recent years by empirical research that has found a positive relationship between payout ratio and future earnings growth, both on the aggregated market level and the company level in different countries. This study investigated the aforementioned relationship on the Swedish market by statistically analyzing future earnings growth as a function of payout ratio on a large sample of publicly listed companies over the period 1980 to 2011. The results are in line with those found in previous research and indicate that companies with high dividend payout ratio tend to experience strong future earnings growth. The results are robust to the presence of mean reversion, the use of an alternative accounting measure of earnings, non-symmetrical earnings growth cycles and alternative practices for dealing with outliers..

This essay aims to map the ideas behind the Swedish cultural reform called Kultursamverkansmodellen, and how the ideas are forming a discourse. Furthermore it examines the social praxis on the three levels that constitutes the model. The three levels are the state, the region and culture creators/civil society. This is a qualitative study based on primary and secondary sources collected on the three levels. The theoretical frame of reference is based on institutional theory, on Michel Foucault?s lecture on The Discourse of Language, and on New Public Management.

Vidare att identifiera eventuella luckor eller behov av forskning. Metod: Litteraturöversikten är en så kallad ?scoping study?. Själva sök-strategin utgick från så kallad blocksökning. Sökresultatet från databaser genomsöktes därefter i tre steg: (1) Titel; (2) abstract; och (3) fulltext.

The genetic relationship between three Swedish horse breeds was investigated using microsatellite data from 144 loci in 30 horses. The North Swedish Trotter is believed to have been crossed with the Standardbred in the 1950?s to produce a faster trotter. If true, the North Swedish Trotter should be more alike the Standardbred than what the North Swedish Draught Horse is, from which they originate. This was investigated using F-statistics and Nei?s distance in GENEPOP and GENETIX and cluster assignment in STRUCTURE.

Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. Animal Orphanage takes care of orphaned and injured animals arriving from throughout Kenya. The project started out as a refuge and as a temporary place for animals in need of care and help. With time it has evolved to an establishment that resembles and functions more like an animal zoo. The aim of this inventory is to focus on how the biological needs of Congo grey parrots ( Psittacus erithacus erithacus) and cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus) are met, in terms of management and housing.

The Swedish rules for marrying in Sweden are different for swedish citizens and foreigners. A swedish citizen has to have permission from"Länsstyrelsen"to marry before the age of 18 but a foreigner may marry without permission at an age of 15, unless a higher age is required by the foreign law. The main question in this essay is if the swedish international law concerning the age of marriage is compatible with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and/or the Swedish Constitution. The comparison is based on mainly two questions: Primarily the Swedish international law is discussed concerning which marrying age is good for the child. Thereafter it is discussed whether it is discriminating to have different marrying ages for swedish and foreign citizens.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how two elementary schools work with Swedish and Swedish as a second language through four teachers thoughts and perceptions. My issues are: How do the teachers perceive the Swedish classes in the school, and how do they perceive that they are conducting it? Which examples of material for teaching do the teachers show me and how do they use it in each school? Do the work with Swedish and Swedish as a second language in the multi-ethnic school and the more mono-ethnic school differ according to how the teachers perceive they are conducting it? Do the teachers think that the equivalent education that is part of the curriculums values and mission always is maintained and why/why not? My study is performed from a sociocultural perspective. My conclusions are that the teachers from the multi-ethnic school are more aware of how to work with Swedish or Swedish as a second language regardless of the students ethnic or national origins. Some aspects of how the teachers work with Swedish are equal with each others, but there are differences to.

Sverige står inför en stor generationsväxling nu när 40-talisterna närmar sig pension och 80-och 90-talister ska börja inta arbetsmarknaden. Idag är nästintill 150 000 ungdomar arbetslösa samtidigt som de ska ta över efter den mycket större kullen 40-talister som snart ska gå i pension, hur hanterar organisationer den utmaningen? Hur förbereder sig organisationer för den växlingen av medarbetare så att inte kompetensen som 40-talisterna besitter lämnar organisationerna och hur arbetar de med att växla in ungdomar in i verksamheterna? Det är ett flertal utmaningar som Sveriges företag står inför och framförallt den offentliga sektorn som sedan tidigare har problem att vara en attraktiv arbetsgivare för ungdomar och locka till sig ny arbetskraft, kommunal sektor är den verksamhet som ungdomar finner mest oattraktiv.Kompetensöverföringen kommer spela en viktig roll för att hantera utmaningarna som generationsväxlingen innebär så att det inte förekommer ett allt för stort kunskapstapp för organisationens verksamhet. Chefer inom organisationen har ett stort ansvar framför sig att kunna förbereda och hantera pensionsavgångarna samt se till att ny arbetskraft finns att rekrytera in till organisationerna.För att se närmare på problemet har jag, i en kommunal organisation utfört en undersökning med fem förvaltningschefer, i form av intervjuer, med syfte att undersöka hur kommunen arbetar för att behålla kompetens inom kommunen som organisation och hur de arbetar med den uppgiften. Samt att se hur kommunen som organisation förbereder generationsväxlingar, genom att planera effektivt och strategiskt när det kommer till medarbetare som förväntas gå i pension men även hur de rekryterar ungdomar och unga vuxna.

Trots att 40-talisterna går i pension har dagens unga chefer svårt att ta sig ut i arbetslivet med ledarskap som inriktning eftersom företagen efterfrågar personer med erfarenhet. Det är svårt att hävda sig för de unga cheferna trots att många har gått i pension. Forskning visar att entreprenörer mår bättre än anställda på företag. Arbetslösheten är dubbelt så hög bland unga än äldre och sannolikheten för att en person ska starta eget är två till tre gånger större om de har en egenföretagare till föräldrar. Hur blir unga uppmuntrade till att gå sin egen väg och välja entreprenörskap?Den här kandidatuppsatsen behandlar unga entreprenörer och deras syn på ledarskapsrollen.
