Minimiaktiekapitalet i Sverige: En konsekvensstudie av ett slopande av aktiekapitalkravet

In 2007 the Swedish government appointed a commission of inquiry with the task to submit a proposal of reduction in the requirement of a minimum legal capital for private limited liability companies. The commission of inquiry?s main proposal involved a reduction to SEK 50,000 compared to the prevailing SEK 100,000. Following a complementary proposal from the Justice Department suggesting a reduction to SEK 1, this paper aims at providing an understanding of the function and purpose of a minimum legal capital and the consequences that follows from an abolition of the statutory capital requirement. The thesis concludes that the legal capital?s main purpose is that of a standard contract internalizing the shareholder?s risk in business.

?Vi och dem?? : En kvalitativ studie av hur etnicitet skildras i åtta samtida svenska bilderböcker

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate how contemporary Swedish picture-books describe ethnicity. The analysis is based upon eight books that were published during the period 1996 to 2006. The thesis is based upon a qualitative content analysis and a model of analysis that has been constructed with inspiration from Maria Nikolajeva and Pil Dahlerup and their conceptions of analyzing literature. The study?s theoretical framework is primarily based on the sociology of literature and the perspective of the society in literature.

Konstruktionen av Sverige och en svensk identitet : Diskursanalys av två läromedel i svenska som andraspråk

This essay is written in order to expose the construction of collective identity in textbooks for Swedish as a second language. To help visualize the process that shapes and categorize sub-jects based on a relational identity formation I assume mostly from Ernesto Laclau and Chan-tal Mouffe's discourse analysis theory frame. The paper called it as discourse theory. There are two textbooks in Swedish as a second language to be studied. Based on the textual materi-al found in the textbooks I perform a discourse analysis involving mainly focus on relational identity construction.

CSR : Ansvar eller anpassning? En studie av företagens sociala ansvar ur ett företagsetiskt perspektiv

Bakgrund: Företagens sociala ansvar, eller CSR, är ett begrepp som används allt oftare i det svenska näringslivet. Men vad är egentligen företagens sociala ansvar? Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att genom en empirisk belysning av företagens sociala ansvar bidra till kunskapen om det sociala ansvaret ur ett företagsetiskt perspektiv. Genomförande: Vi har genomfört tretton intervjuer med representanter för svenska företag och deras intressenter. Slutsatser: Vi har funnit en i många avseenden homogen syn bland svenska företag samt deras intressenter på vad företagens sociala ansvar är.

Internt varumärkesarbete i tjänsteföretag : En studie om det interna varumärkesarbetet i fastighetsmäklarföretag utifrån ett ledningsperspektiv

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att skapa förståelse för hur ledningen i tjänsteföretag praktiskt arbetar med att internt kommunicera företagets kärnvärden, vision och företagskultur med hela organisationen.Metod: Empirisk data har samlats in genom intervjuer och studien omfattas därför av kvalitativ ansats. Semistrukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med respondenter på fyra olika fastighetsmäklarföretag. Datainsamlingen har sedan analyserats genom en abduktiv analysmetod med inspiration från A well grounded theory.Resultat & slutsats: Resultaten i denna studie visar att det främst handlar om att få alla i organisationen att leva företagets identitet i vardagen. För att lyckas med det använder sig företagen av olika kommunikationskanaler, utbildningar och inspiration, så som föreläsningar och tävlingar. Viktigt är också att ledningen uppträder föredömligt och att budskapen i varumärket genomsyras i alla företagets aktiviteter.Förslag till fortsatt forskning: Vi föreslår att framtida studier kan riktas mot tjänsteföretags uppföljning av dess interna varumärkesarbete.

Driving simulators are a very important part of the research that is done at VTI. Enhancing the realism and creating a better driving experience in the simulators are very important and an ongoing work process for the engineers and researchers who work with the simulators. This project has been done as a part of this developing process and the purpose is to enhance the realism of the rear-view mirrors.Simulating realistic rear-view mirrors has been demanded, not only from the researchers at VTI, but also from car and truck manufacturers. To achieve a realistic mirror view a method to measure and parameterize real mirrors has been developed. The code for the existing graphics system has also been redone to be able to handle the new types of mirrors introduced..

Kamratbedömning i svenska : Nio lärares tankar och erfarenheter

This paper studies how peer assessment is used as a strategy to improve young learners' results in Swedish as a school subject. Nine teachers are interviewed about their use of the method on 7-12-year-old pupils. Comparisons are made between the interviews and Swedish and international discussion on peer assessment. There are similarities between the practice of the teachers and what is said in the litterature about the method and its advantages and drawbacks. The teachers tend to emphasize the social aspects more, though.

Resan mot hållbar el : En fallstudie av hur två företag arbetar internt med CSR i elbranschen.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur två företag inom energibranschen arbetar och kommunicerar Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) internt. Vi har i vår studie undersökt, genom dels intervjuer och dels annat material, hur två kommunalt ägda energiföretag arbetar med CSR, samt undersökt varför de arbetar som de gör. Vidare undersöks hur dessa företag kommunicerar CSR inom företaget och om det finns några skillnader och likheter i sättet att arbeta med CSR-frågor.Tidigare forskning indikerar att arbetet med CSR ser likartat ut för företag inom samma bransch. Vårt resultat pekar dock på att så inte alltid är fallet. Anledningarna till att det kan se olika ut är flera.

Kundtjänst inom kommunen: Om en organisationsförändring mot ökad tillgänglighet för medborgarna

Reformeringen av offentlig sektor har medfört en debatt om huruvida demokrativärden fått stå tillbaka till fördel för effektivitetsvärden inom Sveriges kommuner. Till denna debatt kan även tilläggas att ökad tillgänglighet har efterfrågats av både politiker och medborgare vilket lett till införandet av kundtjänst i den aktuella kommunen som här studeras. Masteruppsatsen har en sociologisk utgångspunkt med ett Human Resource Management (HRM) perspektiv och syftar till att beskriva och analysera kommunens inledande process inför införandet av en kundtjänstfunktion. Både bakomliggande orsaker till varför kundtjänstfunktionen ska inrättas samt hur en organisationsförändring kan organiseras när kommuner väljer att starta en kundtjänst lyfts fram i relation till begreppen demokrati och governance.Studien utfördes genom kvalitativ metod där informanter från ledning, chef och medarbetarnivå berättade om sina upplevelser av organisationsförändringen samt sina tankar om vad som kommer framöver. En hermeneutisk infallsvinkel med tolkningar låg till grund för analysmetoden.Teorier om demokrati, governance och organisationsförändringar används för att undersöka och analysera införandet av kundtjänst inom kommunen.

Ger ministerstyre en effektivare krishantering? Lärdommar från tsunamikatastrofen 2004

After the tsunami disaster in December 2004 many arguments were heared that one oft the major reasons behind the poor Swedish effort connected to the evacuation and health care of the Swedish citizens in Thailand right after the incident is the Swedish model with independent government authorities. By comparing the constitution, the political decision making tradition by the ministers and the handling of the catastrophe in the tree Scandinavian countries Denmark, Norway and Finland, plus analysing the behaviour of the Swedish foreign and prime minister from a rational choose inspired individual decision making theory the research shows that there is no proof that a constitutional change in Sweden into the traditional model with government authorities controlled by the ministers alone would led to a more effective crisis handling by the government due to crises concerning Swedish citizens out states. Although the research shows that the constitution and the tradition of decision making in the government provides the basic condition of the ministers individual rational decision making.

Cause Related Marketing : En studie i hur företag praktiskt arbetar med CRM

Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) is not a completely new phenomenon, yet an idea whose time has truly come. To have commercial organizations cooperate with charity organizations for mutual profit is a "win-win-win" situation. The company gets added value to its brand, the charity organization gets to collect more money that it otherwise wouldn't and the customer gains a feeling that he or she has contributed to the society.The purpose of this thesis is to study how a company, in practice, works with CRM marketing. How do they choose which charity organization to work with,what type of product is most appropriate to market with CRM and how is the CRM campaign designed? A theoretical model is then formed to answer these questions, after a thorough research of relevant theory on the subject.

Sensory profiling of Swedish white wines and a contextual analysis of Swedish viticulture

The aim of the study is twofold, to generate a sensory profile of Swedish wine today and to investigate the opinion of both wine producers and wine experts on viticulture in Sweden and wine from grapes grown in Sweden, achieved through a contextual analysis comprising a literature study and interviews with wine producers in Sweden and Denmark and wine experts from Sweden and Germany, and a sensory analysis at the company Ipsos. ?Mixed methods? was the chosen research strategy as the semi-structured interviews gave qualitative results and the sensory analysis would give quantitative results displayed as spider charts. There is a lack of studies investigating how the Swedish wine is perceived by consumers and consumers might be unaware that the Swedish wine, established through ?trial and error?, is increasing in quality every season, creating a need to display the sensory profile of Swedish wine to strengthening the perception of Swedish white wine. This study shows that the Swedish white wine today is a wine with a fresh, citrusy and flowery aroma and a fresh, citrusy and green apple taste, however, a sensory analysis cannot show if the attributes are those that are desired by the customer, a consumer test is necessary to conclude that. Trends point towards locally produced products, one reason why Swedish wine has great potential, yet the future needs to be secured through job opportunities and education. Creating an approval system for Swedish wine is suggested as a future improvement, it is a common procedure in most wine regions.
