Shareholder, who decides to continue with the company, can cause that they become per-sonally liable for its upcoming obligations. Creditors must lodge an appeal against the shareholder to get compensation for the harm they have suffered. The damage rules in Swedish company law are designed to utilize the company?s interest, that is, shareholders and other corporate members shall promote the interests of the company and not cause damage.The rules about compensation that shareholder obligates itself to are difficult to apply and are adapt to the specific cases. For a shareholder to be personally responsible in a real situation a company has to establish a subsidiary company, which is being driven undercapitalized, intended to benefit the shareholder.

Fair trials? rights under Swedish law of public administration (FL) are regulated by Article 7 of the Statute. Similarly, fair trials? right under the European Convention of Human Rights (EU Convention) is regulated by Article 6.1. The essay conducts a comparative study of the two legislations and seeks to determine whether Article 7 of the Swedish law of public administration is consistent and compliance with Article 6.1 of the EU Convention.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva styrelseutvärdering i några relevanta teoretiska sammanhang, kartlägga styrelseutvärdering i svenska börsbolag, samt att bedöma relevansen hos respektive teori i ett svenskt sammanhang. Jag har valt att kombinera kvantitativ och kvalitativ metod. Basen har bestått av en enkätundersökning vilken har kompletterats med djupintervjuer för att öka min förståelse för teorin och empirin. I uppsatsen har jag arbetat hypotetiskt deduktivt. Jag utgick från ett par teoretiska perspektiv och undersökte vad de framhöll om styrelseutvärdering.

The Swedish language has for over six hundred years been under influence of foreign languages. Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. In an inquiry by behalf of the Swedish Government, named Mål i mun ? förslag till handlingsprogram för svenska språket (2002), one of the conclusions was that journalism is an important area that has to be under linguistic supervision to avoid a gradual weakening of the Swedish language. It is also a known fact that the Swedish sports writers has a tendency to use a lot of English words, even though there are equivalent Swedish ones applicable.

Africa is one of the regions most affected by climate change. However its forests are important carbon sinks for the whole world, and if recognised as a global public good, could be conserved and contribute to green house gas emission reductions. A global mechanism, Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and forest Degradation(REDD+) aims to help developing countries in reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, and enhancement of carbon stocks. REDD+ strategies may, however exclude local forest dependent communities from forests in order to conserve and maximise carbon stocks, thus having a severe impact on local livelihoods. Therefore, how local communities can participate and share benefits from REDD+ is a key concern.This study investigates how three forest dependent communities in the Nazinon forest, in Southwest Burkina Faso could financially benefit from a REDD+ project.

Denna uppsats undersöker konsumentgrupp Generation Y:s attityd till Corporate SocialResponsibility (CSR) samt marknadsföring av CSR. Vidare undersöks i uppsatsen Generation Y:sattityder till CSR samt marknadsföring av CSR gällande detaljister inom snabbmatsbranschen iSverige. Uppsatsens teoribildning baseras på teorier om attityder från framförallt Fishbein ochAjzen (1975), samt teorier om CSR och marknadsföring av CSR. Teorin knyts samman i enanalysmodell baserad på Wang och Andersons (2011) CSR-modell. Resultatet baseras på dels enkvantitativ studie i form av en enkätundersökning, dels en kvalitativ studie i form avsemistrukturerade intervjuer.

Title: The dynamics of the Audit expectation gapIntroduction: The audit expectations gap is the difference that exists between what auditors and users of accounting information expects an independent auditor to do. Since the definition arose in 1974, much research has been done about the gap. What is relatively unexplored is how the gap changes over time within a country, and how it is affected by external events. This lack of knowledge has motivated this study.Problem: How has the audit expectation gap changed in Sweden, from the emergence of the definition until today? In which way have corporate scandals and legislative changes affected the gap?Purpose: The aim is to identify and create an understanding of how the audit expectation gap has changed in Sweden.

This thesis investigates the effect of profit growth and profitability on market capitalization amongst Nordic companies during the turbulent period 1997-2005. Our results suggest that profitability have a significant impact on market capitalization for six of the nine years studied, whereas profit growth does not seem to affect market capitalization. Consequently, our results imply that the effect of other factors on share price performance may be greater than previously suggested. These findings are only partly in line with theories on corporate valuation which suggest that market capitalizations are to a great extent driven by both profit growth and capital returns, regardless of whether the stock market is particularly unstable..

Syfte:Att sammanställa och använda en teoretisk referensram för att beskriva och analysera ägarstyrningen av statliga bolag med särskilda samhällsintressen Metod:Teorianvändande kvalitativ fallstudie Teoretiska perspektiv:Grundläggande ägarstyrningsteori med särskilt foku's på agent- och intressentteori samt teorier som behandlar socialt ansvarstagande Empiri:Forskning's- och myndighetsrapporter, tidningsartiklar samt intervjuer med bolagsinterna och bolagsexterna källor i ledande positioner Slutsatser:Det är komplicerat att enkelt beskriva och förklara hur ledningarna för de statliga bolagen ägarstyr's. Orsakerna till detta är bland annat begränsade insynsmöjligheter, närvaron av formlö's styrning och ägarförvaltningen's inkonsekventa hantering av de statliga bolagen. Water related problems are highlighted as a challenge to sustainable development and the topic of forests and water is gaining increased attention worldwide. Governing forest and water is a complex issue, as the interactions are affected by policies and actors from multiple levels and sectors. In Sweden, forests cover much of the land and forestry is an important land-use, inevitably impacting the water in the landscape. This study aims to understand and explain the existing governance framework around forestry and water in Sweden. Based on the Policy Arrangement Approach, the study?s research questions focused on the actors involved, the formal and informal rules, the resources and power structures and the discourses related to forestry and water in Sweden.

The thesis will discuss the interpretations of the two requisites; Control and improper means in the paragraph concerning trafficking in human beings, who can be find in the Swedish penal code chapter 4, section. 1 a. This paragraph is worded in a way that indicates that the paragraph is misinterpreted and that it is therefore hard to proof that the present requisites have been used or fulfilled. However, Sweden has by accepting international legal framework committed itself to do anything in its power to prevent, suppress and punish trafficking in persons. The interpretation of the paragraph has shown that the difficulties have mainly depended of its indistinct formula.A new review published in April 2008 shows that the paragraph should be afforded a new wording, and therefore contain new requisites.

Transfer pricing has attracted considerable interest among tax authorities in recent years. One of the reasons for this is that various countries have now begun to protect their own tax bases to a greater extent than they did in the past. Sweden has introduced a law on the documentation on the grounds that the tax office to review the pricing of transactions that occur within multinational corporations. The purpose of the law is that companies should apply a transfer pricing that meet arm's length principle, which means that internal pricing reflects market prices. The EU Commission has, together with the EU member states formed a Forum, the EU Joint Transfer Pricing Forum (JTPF), since cross-border trade within groups constitute a threat to the internal market. The Forum has drawn up a code of conduct which includes a model of documentation.

Denna studie ämnar undersöka hur den reella makten över ett områdes fysiska utformning kan konstrueras och ta sig i uttryck genom informella nätverk och förhandlingsplanering. Resultatet diskuteras sedan utifrån ett demokratiskt perspektiv. Undersökningen sker genom att med kvalitativa metoder undersöka den planeringsprocess som skulle leda fram till Annedal, ett pågående nybyggnadsprojekt i Stockholms kommun. Den huvudsakliga källan till empiriskt material har varit genom intervjuer och samtal med personer som varit centrala aktörer inom Annedals planeringsprocess. Undersökningens empiri analyseras genom de teoretiska begreppen governance och rationalitet för att undersöka de nätverk inom vilka makten över kommunens fysiska utformning kan konstrueras, samt hur rationalitet används som ett verktyg för att forma det fysiska rummet.

The Swedish rules for marrying in Sweden are different for swedish citizens and foreigners. A swedish citizen has to have permission from"Länsstyrelsen"to marry before the age of 18 but a foreigner may marry without permission at an age of 15, unless a higher age is required by the foreign law. The main question in this essay is if the swedish international law concerning the age of marriage is compatible with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and/or the Swedish Constitution. The comparison is based on mainly two questions: Primarily the Swedish international law is discussed concerning which marrying age is good for the child. Thereafter it is discussed whether it is discriminating to have different marrying ages for swedish and foreign citizens.
