Today?s community requires an increase in food production. Animals are today bred so that they produce more than their ancestors did. Production has been the most important and breeds with the highest production levels have therefore become popular. Many of the old local breeds have become extinct or are about to become extinct because of this trend.

Daily citizens are informed by the media about the environment and the climate changes. The schools purpose is to educate students according to events that are of current interest and take place in present time. According to Swedish curriculum, Lpf94, all Swedish education should include and discuss the problems surrounding durable development. The purpose of the study is to se how the textbooks in History, Social studies and Geography and their contents meet the demands of the curriculum. The study shows that only the textbooks in geography meets the demands that the curriculums have on durable development.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka socialarbetares förståelse av ensamkommande barns integration i det svenska samhället och de tillvägagångssätt olika aktörer, däribland socialarbetare, har när de arbetar med detta. Metoden som vi valde att använda var kvalitativ intervju och för att analysera resultaten använde vi oss av systemteori och empowerment. Resultaten visar att språk, skola och en meningsfull fritid var viktiga delar för barnens integration i samhället. Socialarbetarna i vår studie uppgav att de inte arbetar praktiskt med barnens integration, att det är boendepersonalen/familjehemmet och de gode männen som ansvarar för detta. Viktiga slutsatser i studien var att intresset för de ensamkommande barnen var svagt från samhällets sida och att socialarbetarna ansåg att de dokument som används inte alltid var anpassade för de ensamkommande barnen.

My essay is on the subject of teachers work environment with focus on noise and communication. In the essay questions are raised on how a teacher can influence his or hers noisy work environment. A school is a large work place with many employees and is owned and administered by the county municipality which is an even bigger workplace. How big an acting space does a teacher have in such a large organization?My methods of research on these questions have been to conduct interviews and analyzing documentation from The Swedish Work Environment Authority.

The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the participation of immigrant organizations to the partnerships in the Equal program in Sweden. The focus of the study was on the significance of the participation for the organizations and its impact on them. The point of view of the participant organizations has been object of study through interviews with the persons who, on behalf of the organizations, have been in charge for the work with Equal. Interviews have been conducted with people representing 10 of the 21 immigrant organizations that have been identified among the Swedish Equal partners. Many organizations have experienced that the participation has strengthen the awareness of target groups about their needs and their possibilities.

Då vi 2006 skrev ett projektarbete om Brobyggarna i skolans verksamhet väcktes vår nyfikenhet för deras verksamheter på ett större samhälleligt plan. Därför har vi här utgått från att undersöka om Brobyggarnas utsagor om sina verksamheter stämmer överens med de uppdrag verksamheterna officiellt har. Vår uppfattning är att utvärderingar och rapporter på ett otillräckligt sätt knyter an till den svenska integrations- och storstadspolitiken och vi vill därför även undersöka hur väl förankrad denna politik är i Brobyggarnas verksamheter. Våra syften med uppsatsen är att ställa Brobyggarnas utsagor i relation till Malmö Stads målsättningar inom ramen för storstadssatsningen och integrationspolitiken, och analysera och diskutera förankringen av politiken samt om verksamheterna leder till integration eller ytterligare segregation. De empiriska resultaten har vi kopplat till teorier om demokrati och integration, vilka har visat sig vara grundläggande utgångspunkter för vår studie. För att underlätta läsarens förståelse för våra diskussioner och resultat har vi även redogjort för den politik som ligger till grund för verksamheterna. Vi anser att våra viktigaste slutsatser är, att integrationspolitikens otydliga direktiv leder till att Malmö Stads ambitiösa integrations- och demokratiarbete försvåras genom begränsningen av antalet bostadsområden, istället för att även arbeta övergripande i hela Malmö. Ibland riskerar arbetet dessutom att öka segregationen och stigmatiseringen på grund av fokuseringen på vissa befolkningsgrupper, enligt oss involverar integration alla.

Ämnesintegrering är ett av många sätt att organisera undervisningen på. Syftet med integreringen är att kunskap från två eller flera ämnen samverkar för att skapa en helhetssyn hos eleven. Syftet med min undersökning är att ta reda på hur elever och lärare uppfattar ämnesintegration samt vilka fördelar och nackdelar lärare och elever upplever med arbetssättet. Undersökningen utgörs av kvalitativa intervjuer med tre stycken elever samt fyra stycken lärare som undervisar i de gymnasiegemensamma ämnena. Resultatet visar att eleverna upplever att de lär sig nyttiga saker som de kommer att få användning av i livet.

The study is a qualitative survey with the purpose to through interviews with Employment Office social workers examine their perception of possibilities and obstacles in the employment market for immigrants. This purpose is specified through two specific problems; how are cultural and ethnic affiliations portrayed in relation to what is perceived as Swedish in the communication with Employment Office social workers and whether they reckon that the specifications in the employment market are pragmatically or normatively motivated. The materials are presented using a social constructivist perspective and in relation to previously conducted research and our chosen theory. The results are presented and analyzed in themes. The main conclusions drawn from the interviews are that it primarily is the individual prerequisites that are central, but that structural factors also affect the entry into the employment market.

Skolverket anser att grunden i integrationen mellan de båda skolformerna förskola och skola nu är lagd och det är dags att bygga vidare. I denna grund påtalar dock Skolverket att det har skett en ?skolifiering? av förskoleklassen. Med tanke på detta är syftet med studien att studera pedagogers syn på förskoleklassens verksamhet med speciellt fokus på lek. Att beskriva vad en ?skolifiering? av förskoleklassen har betytt och eventuellt kommer att betyda för lärandet och leken i de lägre åldrarna, anser vi som skribenter kan leda till att en integration mellan de bägge skolformerna förskola och skola inte bör ske på någons bekostnad.

In this study the semi structured interview method was used to explore what kind of knowledge one In State Authority: The Migration Board, and three Non Governmental Organisations: Red Cross, Save the Children and ISS- International Social Service have about the situation for separated children. Another purpose in this study was to explore if people who are close to the children are working for the best of the children and if their cases were treated with legal security. The result shows that the children?s cases are not treated with legal security and some of the children suffer psychologically from separations from the families and other children need new families because they were maltreated. The result also shows that there are signs that separated children are discriminated compared to children with a Swedish background..

The Swedish language has for over six hundred years been under influence of foreign languages. Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. In an inquiry by behalf of the Swedish Government, named Mål i mun ? förslag till handlingsprogram för svenska språket (2002), one of the conclusions was that journalism is an important area that has to be under linguistic supervision to avoid a gradual weakening of the Swedish language. The purpose of this degree project was to build laboratory equipment for a new course in power electronics that starts this autumn 2010 at Uppsala University. The equipment is intended for student labs and it covers the most important areas of the course including rectifying, buck-/boost-converters and PWM-modulation. It is built as one sealed unit where all the electronics are built-in but visible and it has a connection board where students safely can connect the different circuits. The project has advanced from theoretical studies of circuit design, choosing of components and simulations to drawing the printed circuit board (PCB), soldering, case building, final testing and troubleshooting - basically most steps from an early idea to a final product. Measurements on the final product gave about the same results as the earlier simulations of the circuits and the result is overall satisfying..

The goal of this paper is to find out how solar cells can improve energy efficiency on-board M/S Sydfart. The paper is based on a number of energy measurements on board the M/S Sydfart. The solar surface is calculated by measuring the available space for installing solar panels. Global radiation data is taken from STRÅNG's database, the data is then used to calculate the theoretical power produced by the solar cells. Energy efficiency is analysed in two ways.

The purpose of this study was to examine the controversy surrounding the Swedish methadone assisted rehabilitation program over time. Which course has the Swedish methadone assisted rehabilitation program, and the controversy surrounding it, taken since the start? Which arguments have been for and which have been against a methadone assisted rehabilitation program in Sweden, and what are these arguments based on? We chose to write this thesis as a literature study to get a broad and in depth picture of the development of the program in Sweden. In our analysis we used social constructionism and a medical aspect on substance abuse as theories.It is clear that it has been, and still are, differences in opinions when it comes to the effects of the program. As early as in the 1980's the methadone assisted rehabilitation program was scientifically proved effective and approved by the Swedish Board of Health and Social Affairs.
