Idrottens förmåga att bidra med positiva effekter för integration är omdiskuterad.Det finns både de som har stora förhoppningar på idrotten som enintegrationsfrämjare och de som är mer skeptiska när det kommer till idrottens roll iintegrationsprocessen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att undersöka idrottenspotential att integrera invandrare i samhället samt att undersöka vilka hinder somfinns för att idrott ska fungera integrationsfrämjande. Studien bygger på en analys av12 vetenskapliga artiklar som alla behandlar relationen mellan idrott och integration.Resultatet av denna litteraturstudie visar att idrott kan bidra med positiva effekter förintegration, bland annat genom att erbjuda en mötesplats där relationer kan byggasöver kulturella gränser. Resultaten visar dock även att idrottsrörelsen inte är fri frånde spänningar som finns i samhället i stort och det är därför orimligt att tro att idrottenpå egen hand ska kunna bidra till att människor känner sig integrerade i samhället..

Sverige blir alltmer mångkulturellt. I dagens samhälle finns det många individer och grupper av olika härkomst. Detta har lett till många diskussioner kring integration samt konflikter mellan olika folkgrupper. Vad kan dessa konflikter mellan de olika folkgrupperna innebära för individernas identitetsskapande? Och hur kan vissa av dessa individers identitet och livsvillkor formas under en integrationsprocess?Denna antologi kommer att behandla identitet ur ett etnicitetsperspektiv.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en bild av och förståelseför hur ideella föreningar kan bidra till integration. Detta har skett genom enfallstudie av två olika organisationer och deras verksamhet. Metoden somanvänts är kvalitativa semistrukturerade intervjuer med personal från dessaorganisationer kompletterat med deltagande observation. Analysen har gjortsutifrån Jose Alberto Diaz integrationsteori. Resultaten visar att de ideellaorganisationerna bidrar till integration på flera sätt, främst genomspråkundervisning som fyller en särskild funktion då den till stor del riktasmot grupper som inte kan ta del av kommunens undervisning via SFI.

The Swedish integration policy acts upon that all citizen should have equal rights and possibilities no matter ethnic and cultural background. In today's Sweden it is more or less a self-evident that immigrants ought to prepare the possibility to preserve their original cultural distinctive character according to the Governments Proposition 1997/98:16. Simultaneously the term integration and its actual meaning and its political significance are not always clear.Immigrants as a categorization are often overloaded with negative overtone and risk to seem discriminated. The main purpose of this study is to get an increased knowledge of the content on the Swedish website lektion.se. The study wants to find out if the content can relate to the syllabus for Swedish and the sociocultural view of learning. The questions it aims to answer are how the content of lessons in Swedish in grade 1-5 is related to the syllabus for Swedish and the sociocultural view of learning. This has been a study of text from lessons taken from the website. The study has been made with support from qualitative and quantitative analysis of text.

This thesis is about how the library can help immigrants integrate into theswedish society. By studying leading documents of the libraries in Malmö,Stockholm and Umeå in search for how the relate to work consideringimmigrants and integration I have studied the library as a bridge betweenbeing included and excluded in the society. The thought is that the libraryopens the door to new worlds both for immigrants and born swedes toobtain knowledge about a culture different from their own.In my thesis I reached the conclusion that library on a day to day basisworks with the integrationprocess for immigrants. Although the leadingdocuments should evolve since they show gaps and seem somewhatmisguiding in their presentation of the libraries function. The librariesshould work more with analysis of the environment that they are active in sothat they are more individualized for the people around it.

In light of health scandals and intense debate in the media about the elderly, the authors investigates two Swedish newspaper and their depiction of elder care in Sweden. Using Faircloughs three-dimensional model and critical discourse analysis, it is investigated if there is a more prominent discourse and if so the impact of globalization on this discourse concerning swedish elderly care. A sample of a total of ten articles in the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter is analyzed. The authors found that older people who are granted home help or place of accommodation rarely make their voices heard. Rarely were also relatives of residents given the opportunity to speak.

Integration is a concept that is very topical in today's multicultural-cultural society. Integration means that everyone should have the same rights, opportunities and obligations to society, regardless of extraction. What counteract integration is segregation, which implies a distinction between different groups and where there exist an inequality between them. Segregation is widespread in Sweden today and the exclusion that it creates needs to be broken. The aim of this paper is to examine if it is possible to promote integra-tion through physical planning.

This study examines how the Swedish newspaper G?teborgs-Posten presented Swedish identity in relation to the country?s referendum and EU-membership. By investigating the usage of the Swedish identity, related to EU-membership, the ambition is to conclude whether the newspaper was positive towards EU-membership. The empirical base consists of articles produced by G?teborgs-Posten from the first of October 1994 to the last day of January 1995.

The National Property Board (SFV) has been appointed by the Swedish government to administer all property of cultural value owned by the Swedes collectively. The commission includes maintaining the soul and character of each individual building, to adapt these buildings to present needs and requirements, and furthermore making them available to the public. The theoretical assumption that organizations are either function-driven or pay-driven will serve as a starting point, after which SFV will be defined as a function-driven organization with a pay-formed management control system. This paper aims to examine how applying a pay-formed management control system will affect a function-driven organization.

Syfte - Syftet med studien är att presentera exempel på vad integration kan innebära för människor som har olika perspektiv (stadsdelsförvaltare, projektledare och målgruppen) på integrationsåtgärder i betydelsen att det antingen arbetar med integrationsåtgärder eller utgör målgrupp för åtgärderna. Målet med uppsatsen är att belysa problemet kring begreppet integration i utvalda stadsdelar (Rosengård, Fosie och Södra Innerstaden) med utgångspunkt i arbete och utbildning. Metod - I vår C-uppsats har vi valt en forskningsstrategi med kvalitativ och induktiv inriktning bestående av fallstudier som forskningsdesign. Med kvalitativ och induktiv inriktning menar vi att vi har lagt stor fokus på ord vid insamling av data och analys, samt att vi har genererat teorier utifrån vårt forskningsresultat. Våra data har gått ut på både öppna och semistrukturerade intervjuer baserad på en intervjuguide. Resultat - Studiens resultat visar att integration tolkas olika beroende på var man befinner sig i och vilken position man har i samhället. I vår undersökning bland våra respondenter som jobbade som stadsförvaltare respektive projektledare, tolkades begreppet integration på ett likvärdigt sätt.

In Jaunuary 1995 Sweden became part of the European Union. Consequently Sweden agreed upon beeing part of a greater integration project with influences of federalism. However, many argue that the discourse that has been been dominant in Sweden is the discourse where we focus on the national state instead of the EU. In my essay I question whether the discourse about ?nationalstatslogiken? is found in the daily press in Sweden.

The aim of this report is to discuss computer security in handheld computers and to find out the appropriate security level that must be implemented to be able to use handheld computers within the Swedish healthcare system. Most healthcare centers are using some kind of electronic journals for their patient´s data today, but there are still a number of clinics that are usingthe old paper-system. On a few places in Sweden the use of handheld computers at the clinics has already started, but in the United States the use of handheld computers in the medical area is already widespread and from this we can see a lot of different situations where it is useful and effective to work with handheld computers. The security demands on patient´s journals are high and regulated in both Swedish law and regulations from the National Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. The law does not have any substantial demands, but states that there should be an adequate security level based on the nature of the information and the costs.

This essay is an evaluation of the act of establishment (2010:197). The act is about different operators' responsibility and accountability for new arrivals to get a more effective integration into society and to speed up the new arrivals' establishment on the labor market. The purpose of this act is to get more new arrivals involved in the Swedish labor market directly. By doing so, it gives these people a possibility to become self-sufficient. This study has focus in four different operators; Employment service, Immigration service and two local politicians from Social democrats (Socialdemokraterna) and Conservatives (Moderaterna).
