The purpose of this essay is to examine the Swedish relations to Nato and by doing so see on what terms the cooperation is executed and why. However, Sweden is not a member of Nato and is thereby not seen as an ally of the organization but even so Sweden has a close cooperation with Nato. The theories used in this essay is The Rational Actor Model and The Organizational Behaviour Model by Graham Allison and Philip Zelikow. To this a number of additional theorises are used as to complement these two main theories. The aim with these theories is to see which one gives the most satisfying explanation of the Swedish strategy to cooperate with Nato and still not be a member of the alliance or if all theorises are needed.

This essay examines migration paths through Sweden. There has been a debate in August 2010 that Sweden is regarded as a backdoor for non European immigrants to come over Denmark. It has been discovered through Denmark?s statistics and is regarded as negative by the Danish government. Denmark and Sweden are two countries that are socio- , economically- and culturally similar, but went in two different directions, especially with immigration policy.

The purpose of this essay is to study causes for the lack of political trust in Europe and especially in Sweden. The essay starts with a presentation of two theories about the reasons for low political trust. Robert D. Putnam among others presents a theory that gives social capital an important role when viewing the low political trust. As Putnam sees it a person that participates in any kind of organization, political or not, develop trust for other human beings that in the long run affects political trust.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the history and the current situation of the Church of Sweden. The renovation of Skalljö church in Lerum municipality has been used as an example to enlighten the common changes in the church buildings. The long history of the Church of Sweden as the state church has resulted in the fact that it carries a remarkable part of the Swedish cultural heritage. The reason why the Heritage Conservation Act (1988:950) was altered in January 2000 was due to the change of relations between the State and the Church of Sweden. SAMMANFATTNINGTanken bakom att införa ett huvudentreprenörsansvar i byggbranschen är att det ska ligga till grund för ordning och reda. Arbetsmarknadsparterna är överens om att byggbranschen ska innehålla rättvisa och sunda konkurrensförhållanden och därtill ett seriöst företagande med god arbetsmiljö. Vad parterna däremot inte varit överens om är huruvida ett ekonomiskt solidariskt ansvar i entreprenadkedjan är förenligt med svensk arbetsrätt. Efter drygt ett års förhandling om att införa ett huvudentreprenörsansvar i svensk rätt, kompromissade parterna den 31 mars 2014 om en lösning. Kompromissen innebär att ett huvudentreprenörsansvar ska införas tillsammans med en särskild nämnd med tillhörande fond.Uppsatsens syfte är att kartlägga och analysera gällande svensk rätt för att undersöka om möjligheten att reglera huvudentreprenörsansvaret utifrån arbetsmarknadsparternas perspektiv finns och om så är fallet även se på hur denna reglering kan te sig inom byggindustrin.

Alla människor upplever grönska och växtlighet medvetet eller omedvetet. Många odlar också själva. Vi har de senaste åren upplevt varmare och varmare vintrar, vilket många forskare anser bero på en klimatförändring. Ett hjälpmedel vi har idag för att förstå klimatet och odlingsbetingelser är zonkartan, men det är inte många som vet hur den har tagits fram. Om vi får en kraftig klimatförändring så kommer vår zonindelning inte gälla längre och vi behöver se över systemet.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur väl svenska och finlandssvenska niondeklassare hanterar utvalda svenska skrivregler och det svenska skriftspråket. Vidare undersöks huruvida det finns olikheter länderna emellan, samt mellan kön. Undersökta språkdrag är fyra till antalet: förekomst av särskrivning, hantering av gemener och versaler, inslag av engelska respektive finska samt hantering av pronomina de, dem och dom. Undersökningsmaterialet består av 100 diskursiva elevtexter från Sverige och Finland, jämnt fördelade mellan länderna. Texterna kommer från nationella prov i ämnet svenska (Sverige) respektive modersmål och litteratur (Finland) genomförda våren 2010 av elever i årskurs 9.

Queen Kristina of Sweden (1626-1689) was in many ways an interesting, fascinating but also a very complicated woman, who has been studied widely by historians and other scholars throughout the years. However, there are few people who have considered the queens attitude towards the male norm which characterize Sweden, and most of Europe, during the seventeenth century.My purpose with this essay is therefore to apply the historian and gender expert Yvonne Hirdman´s theory about the gender system and the hierarchical order, where the male is the norm and representative of what is considered to be normal in the society, on literature regarding Queen Kristina of Sweden. The historical method of this essay will be historiography, as a result of the fact that my study is based on other historians and scholars research. Moreover, my intention is to include Kristina´s entire life in Sweden, from her birth as far as to her abdication from the Swedish throne and study this through the gender perspective introduced above. Should Sweden take part of this or not? My aim is to describe the debate in a structured and legible way, so that the reader can get a comprehensive picture. Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka och jämföra hur klassrumsundervisning bedrivs i två svenska och två finska skolor för att finna möjliga förklaringar till PISA-undersökningens resultat (Programme for International Student Assessment). Syftet besvaras med hjälp av följande frågeställning: Hur och till vad utnyttjas lektionstiden till? Hur upplevs det allmänna klassrumsklimatet? Hur ser ledarskapet i klassrummet ut?MetodDe metoder som använts i studien är löpande och på förhand kategoriserade observationer och kvalitativa intervjuer. Totalt har 24 klassrumsobservationer, tio lärarintervjuer och två intervjuer med rektorer genomförts vid två högstadieskolor i Storstockholm och vid två högstadieskolor i Helsingfors. Det som observerades var; lektionsinnehållet och tiden lagd på olika moment, elevernas självständighet, det disciplinära klimatet och relationen mellan lärare och elev samt klassrumsklimatet.

SOS-barnbyar är ett hem för omhändertagna barn och finns som världsomfattande verksamhet och i vårt grannland Finland. Här placeras barn som på grund av biologiska föräldrars bristande föräldraförmåga inte längre kan bo kvar hemma. Målet med SOS-barnbyar är att alla barn ska få en trygg familj att växa upp i där de får sina behov tillgodosedda och en familjär uppväxt. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur barnhemsmammor på SOS-barnbyar i Finland ser på barns anknytning och vad barnhemsmammans egen roll är gällande att främja barns anknytning. Intervjumaterialet har analyserats med hjälp av innehållsanalys som genom kodning och kategorisering.
