In this study thoughts of the individual?s right to equality are considered. By using critical ideology analysis the central tools of the study are strongly connected with thoughts of representation, equality, individual and collective rights, equal opportunities and possibilities and discrimination. In critical ideology analysis nothing can be automatically visible to us and critical ideology analysis is a method as well as a theory.A central point in this study is to investigate whether there are oppositional views or unanimity in the debate of affirmative action. The debate is still under ?construction?, which means that the debate has not yet come up with a solution to the problems of discrimination.

For almost a century the debate about women as ordained servants in the Church of Sweden has raged on and on. The decision to open up the priesthood for both genders in 1958 was a milestone in the women?s liberation movement as well as it marks an important time in the church history. The debate has mainly been about how to interpret scripture, who has the right to do so, and so on. Feminist theology has become one way in recent decades to paint a wider and more nuanced picture of history and how to interpret the texts often used to repress women.This essay surveys some of the steps towards that decision, as well as it paints a rough picture of what leadership among women in the church could involve before ordination became an option.

I tolkningen av vad en doktrin är, så finns både ett inriktande syfte och en slags ensning av det förhållningssätt som gäller och förväntas av Försvarsmaktens personal. Det innebär att man skulle kunna förvänta sig en tydlig viktning mot det internationella fokus som faktiskt klart kan sägas gälla efter försvarsbeslutet 2004. Frågan blir då om de tre svenska arenadoktrinerna är tillräckligt tydliga i att poängtera detta. Denna uppsats försöker därför analysera doktrinerna och utröna om det egentligen finns något fokus avseende nationella och internationella insatser och om det i så fall finns någon skönjbar förklaring till detta i doktrintexterna. Undersökningen består av en kvantitativ textanalys samt en kvalitativ undersökning av doktrinerna för luft-, mark- och marina operationer, som tillsammans angriper texterna baserat på två definierade indikatorer av fokuseringarna.Analysen i uppsatsen ger vid handen att doktrinen för marina operationer visar en märkbart större fokusering vid internationella insatser än vad de andra gör.

The purpose of the study was to find out how Swedbank Insurance view of health characterizes wellness work at the company. It was a qualitative study in which five persons involved in their health and wellness work were interviewed. Their business plan was based generally on the basis of the biomedical approach, but the results proved otherwise. The four categories that were set up after the results were; Health is to feel good physically as well as psychologically, health is the absence of illness, wellness is to do things together in a healthy environment and wellness is to challenge their co-workers with different kinds of challenges..

Introduktion: Denna uppsats kommer att behandla de nya likviditetskrav i Basel III som banker ska implementera i sin verksamhet. Detta ämne är intressant att utforska på grund av bankernas starka ställning i ekonomin, där de fyller viktiga funktioner i samhällsekonomin och således alltid är aktuella och viktiga att granska. Anledningen till att vi har valt att närma oss detta område är för att det inte är tillräckligt utforskat på denna punkt, framförallt inte i Sverige, och grunden till det ligger i att Basel III är ett nytt regelverk som är ett direkt resultat av de senaste årens finansiella kriser runt om i världen. This paper examines if European integration has had an impact on national political parties by looking at the stances of the Swedish Green Party and the Left Party on the issue of the European Community and the European Union over time. With the development of the European Community and the European Union, national political parties face the challenge of an emerging political arena. European integration research has recently become more involved with what is called europeanization and political integration within the member states them self, this paper aims to provide further leverage to the thesis that national political actors undergo some degree of europeanization and are politically integrated in the EU, by examining manifestos of two historically eurosceptic Swedish political parties. The theoretical framework provided by neo-functional integration theory as well as europeanization is used to examine the empirical material in order to see if the political parties at the focal point of this study can be said to have undergone a change in political policy regarding the EC and EU, both in quantity and content. The analysis show that indeed both parties has undergone a change and what might be considered a europeanization, considering that the presence of the EU as a political issue seem to have risen in prominence and importance in the examined manifestos.

Hälsa och idrott är idag mer eller mindre en del av alla svenskars vardag vilket sätter pressaktörer på marknaden. Ett brett utbud och bra service förväntas oavsett vilken anläggning sombesöks vilket ställer mycket höga krav på både anläggningar och aktörer. I många fall saknarkommuner resurser för att prioritera frågan och en lösning på problemet kan vara offentligprivatsamverkan (OPS) där en kommun ingår en samverkan med en privat aktör. Då det vidstudiens början saknades forskning kring hur identiteter kan samsas inom ett varumärkeämnar denna studie att undersöka hur två parter som ingått OPS kan kommunicera sinidentitet på ett enhetligt vis för att skapa ett enat uttryck.Då studien syftar till att undersöka två parter som ska rymmas inom ett varumärkeundersöktes teorier kring vad som ligger till grund för en stark identitet och image och hurobalans mellan flera identiteter kan upptäckas och åtgärdas. Då en kvalitativ studie med enblandad metod av fallstudie och tvärsnittsstudie utfördes har datainsamling skett genomkvalitativa intervjuer, en kvalitativ enkät samt genom att studera upphandlingsdokument.Studieobjektet Arena Grosvad valdes för fallstudien eftersom det ansågs vara ett lämpligtstudieobjekt då det är en idrottsanläggning som ägs av en kommun men drivs av en privataktör genom OPS.

With this research we aimed to seek how youth workers express their experience of counselling on the internet compared to traditional counselling face to face with a theoretical ground in semiotics and symbolic interactionism. Our questions were 1) How do youth workers describe their experiences from anonymous, faceless online counselling? 2) How do youth workers experience the differences between online counselling and the traditional face-to-face counselling? 3) Which possibilities and difficulties do they see in online communication with adolescents? We used semi-structed interviews with seven youth workers. Six of those are active in non-profit organisations, and one in social services. The results from our interviews showed that the interviewees saw that misunderstandings were more frequent on the internet, but that online counselling with adolescents still was easier than in the face-to-face meetings.

Denna uppsats behandlar barns sexualitet inom förskolans arena. Syftet är att problematisera förskolebarns sexualitet och analysera förskollärares förutsättningar att arbeta med detta utifrån valda dokument samt hur detta kan påverka barns utveckling. Metoden som används för att besvara forskningsfrågorna är en kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Därtill används både förskolans och grundskolans läroplan för att urskilja hur ämnet sex- och samlevnad behandlas inom utbildningsväsendet. Även Malmö högskolas utbildningsplan tillämpas för att synliggöra förskollärares utbildning angående barns sexualitet och ett dokument som beskriver kommitténs uppdrag samt förslag till ett måldokument gällande de pedagogiska verksamheterna.

In Stockholm there are currently five women, out of a total of 102 employees, working in public sports arenas. In sports arenas men are numerically superior amongst the workers as well as the visitors. These arenas are in many ways male dominated, masculinized environments. In this essay I investigate the reasons behind the uneven distribution, in terms of gender, among sports arena workers. I do this by interviewing seven female sports arena workers (the five current and two former), and by observing their workplaces.

Mobbning har länge varit ett problem bland barn och ungdomar och framförallt inom skolans verksamheter. I och med internets snabba utveckling har mobbningen börjat tas i uttryck på en ny arena, nämligen internet. Detta kallas ofta för nätmobbning. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur fyra olika grundskolor hanterar och förebygger nätmobbning med stöd av lagar och riktlinjer. Vidare är syftet att få en förståelse för hur nätmobbning kan förebyggas genom att undersöka några faktorer som gör att fenomenet uppstår.

Studien syftar till att ge en bild av den verklighet som pedagoger beskriver genom sina egna erfarenheter. Deras arbete med elever utgör varje skolas kärnverksamhet. En skola som det ställs många skilda förväntningar på från det omgivande samhället, pedagoger, föräldrar och elever. De erfarenheter och uppfattningar som pedagogerna bär med sig bemöter de sina elever med i sin undervisning. Bemötandet påverkar i sin tur den syn som eleverna sedan ser på sig själva med.

Successful diversity management has become an increasingly pressing concern for companies and organisations, as the workforce has grown more diverse over the past few decades. Research on whether increased work group diversity has a generally positive or negative impact on results remains inconclusive. It has, however, been established that good diversity management is pivotal in creating conditions for the successful performance of diverse work groups. Although much attention has been directed towards explaining the translation of work group diversity into positive results, less attention has been given to the processes that underlie this translation and the way it is expressed in everyday leadership behaviour. This thesis revolves around a case study, at the Swedish bank Swedbank, which combines qualitative and quantitative elements to explore the successful leadership in nine diverse work groups at the local branch level.

The purpose of this study was set against the background that social media today are used as an platform for companies to communicate with their customers, as well as communicate their brand. Therefore it was interesting to examine this phenomenenon through a critical point of view and try to put light on the different forms of power that is produced on this arena.The overall aim of this study was to examine how PR-consultants talk about social media as a communication channel. The empirical data consisted of five interviews with PR-consultants on five different PR-agencies. The theoretical framework was based on a social constructional perspective and Foucault?s theory of power.

In this master thesis we are trying to investigate whether the heads of the four major Swedish banks are receiving compensation because of their own performance. We have investigated a number of parameters in the reporting and compensation description of Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank and compared it to macro data.We have used publicly available information from the banks as well as macro data from 1998 to 2009.We have come to the conclusion that the revenue and profits of the banks are heavily influenced by external factors and that there does not appear to be a clear link between a CEOs actions, the reported results for the bank, the shareholder gains and the compensation for the CEO. It appears as if the bonus payments to a CEO may depend more on parameters beyond the CEOs own control than the performance of the CEO..
