De flesta svenskar känner till hur en svensk kommun är uppbyggd och hur den fungerar. Man vet att en kommun styrs av lokala politiker som bildar någon form av styrande majoritet. Man vet också att kommunens ansvarsområden är uppdelade i olika nämnder och att det sedan är tjänstemän och administratörer som genomför besluten. Efter det att besluten är implementerade sker en uppföljning, en revision, som bland annat består av att oppositionspolitiker granskar utfallet av den förda politiken. Med denna ordning tystnar aldrig diskussionen.

Patientdelaktighet i vården har visat sig resultera i förbättrade behandlingsresultat och ökad tillfredsställelse bland patienterna. Genom att belysa hur patienten upplever sin delaktighet i hälso- och sjukvården kan sjuksköterskan få en fördjupad insikt i patientens livsvärld och förbättrade möjligheter att bemöta och tillgodose hans behov. Sjuksköterskan kan, med denna fördjupade kunskap, utgöra en resurs för patienten och bidra till att skapa bättre förutsättningar för patientdelaktighet. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa patientens upplevelse av delaktighet i svensk hälso- och sjukvård. Metoden var en litteraturstudie av åtta vetenskapliga artiklar med en kvalitativ analysmetod.

Skillnaden mellan svensk och amerikansk rätt är att, den amerikanska rätten är uppbyggd kring förbudsregler vad det gäller verksamhet utanför revisionsuppdraget. Den svenska rätten tar fasta på revisorns egen förmåga att avgöra vad som är hot mot hans oberoende vid fristående rådgivning och vilka åtgärder han kan vidta för att eliminera dessa. Den amerikanska rätten förbjuder revisorer med revisionsuppdrag att ha fristående rådgivning. Den svenska revisorn kan idag balansera det flesta hot mot oberoendet vid fristående rådgivning med hjälp av den analysmodell som han har till sin hjälp vid granskningen av oberoendet inför revisionsuppdrag. Analysmodellen stämmer väl med de principer som det nya åttonde EU-direktivet har fastlagt skall gälla för medlemsländerna.Jag anser inte att den fristående rådgivningen kommer att vara ett hot mot revisorns oberoende.

Det normgivande organet IASBs konsultation med allmänheten utgör en viktig del i normgivningsprocessen. Det pågående projektet av en ny standard för leasingredovisning, som skall ersätta IAS 17, har erhållit stor uppmärksamhet. År 2009 publicerade IASB ett diskussionsunderlag tillsammans med FASB. Ett första utkast av standarden utfärdades år 2010 vilket följdes av ett reviderat förslag år 2013. Samtliga publikationer var öppna för allmänheten att kommentera i form av remissvar.Insikten om den makt som intressentgrupper har i denna process är emellertid liten varpå syftet med studien är att få klarhet i om IASBs normgivningsprocess påverkas av enskilda intressentgruppers makt vid utformningen av den nya redovisningsstandarden för leasing.

Although Sweden has democracy implemented in its Constitution, because of being a monarchy, it has a non-elected Head of State. The purpose of this thesis is on the one hand to show if it is possible to normatively legitimate the Swedish monarchy and on the other hand to display if and how the three biggest Swedish newspapers Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter and Expressen justify monarchy by making a content-oriented analysis of their coverage of King Carl XVI Gustaf's political statement during his state visit in Brunei 2004.By using consequentialism and deontology as perspectives I will show that it overall is not possible to normatively justify the Swedish monarchy compared to a Swedish republic with an elected Head of State. This is mainly because democracy is implemented in the Swedish Constitution. In all three newspapers there is only little debate on the Constitution. Most commonly journalists criticize the King's statement but not monarchy as an institution.

Since none of W.A Mozart's own cadenzas for his Violin Concerto no. 4 in D major have been preserved, and there is only one existing standard cadenza by Joseph Joachim, I have chosen to write my own cadenza, but in the end I decided to write three cadenzas. As a background to my thesis I analyzed and studied the different motives in the first movement, as well as four cadenzas from different eras. I made a comparison of these four cadenzas, looking at how the composers have used the different themes and motives from the concerto. I have also explained the meaning and purpose of the term cadenza.

This paper analyses the pricing on spare parts. Empirical studies have showed that manufacturers of durable goods make an unproportional large profit on its spare parts in relation to the revenue it generates. It is first showed that according to the standard economic model the price on spare part ought to be zero since the producer include an insurance in the price of the main good. Further it is showed that moral hazard alone do not explain the pricing found in the studies. Finally an analysis of whether consumers with present-biased preferences could be a possible explanation is made.

Under flera decennier har svensk media fascinerats av politiska skandaler. Våra svenska politiker har blivit hårt kritiserade och varje steg de tagit har blivit granskat. Jag har studerat fyra stycken svenska politiker som har skapat skandaler enligt svensk media. Den här uppsatsens syfte var att undersöka vilka strategier dessa fyra politiker använt sig av för att försvara sig själva eller sin politik. Detta är intressant ur ett retoriskt perspektiv då jag studerat hur dessa politiker agerat för att återuppta förtroendet hos svenska folket.

General concerns about environmental issues may mean that the demand for bio-based products will increase. Opportunities that arise on markets, together with the declining demand for newsprint, may trigger firms in the Swedish forest industry to increase their development of new products. One product that has received a lot of attention during recent years (and is a contender) is nanocellulose. The purpose of this master thesis was to examine the Swedish forest industry?s view on the market potential of nanocellulose.
