Ett bestyrkande frånoberoende part gör hållbarhetsredovisningen, som liggerutanför traditionell redovisning, mer trovärdig.Syfte: Syftet med fallstudien är att, utifrån en grundmodell och enutvidgad modell inom hållbar utveckling granska tre företags hållbarhetsredovisningar, för att i analys och slutsats urskilja om hållbar utveckling kan uppnås genom hållbarhetsredovisningar.Metod: FallstudieResultat: Med lagar som grund i all redovisning, tillsammans mednormgivande riktlinjer som exempelvis GRI, toppat med företagens vilja att konkurrera och marknadsföra sig via redovisning av miljö- och socialt ansvar, kan resultatet bli att en uppstramning av lagen i nuläget är onödig..

Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to get a comprehensive understanding for the thoughts behind Visby?s sustainable tourism planning. Focus will lie on how far Visby has come in their planning and implementing towards a sustainable tourism development. Methods: This study is preceded from a hermeneutical and constructive perspective. The methods used are induction and qualitative research in the form of deep interviews with four key figures working within Gotland?s municipality and tourism industry.

The Swedish stock-market gives investors an opportunity to benefit from the global growth while financing companies invests and contributes to a socio-economic development. Parallel to the ownership of the funds also follows a responsibility as companies in the funds affect society and the environment. The growth of savings in funds, combined with an increased focus on sustainability has developed SRI (socially responsible investment). Therefore it is interesting to examine whether responsibility is an exception, which only concerns SRI-funds or a general principle, which includes the whole Swedish stock-market.The results of the survey makes it clear that all the Swedish major banks actively works to integrate sustainability within the respective bank's business to achieve a more sustainable financial system. Thus concludes the investigation that responsible investments are a general principle on the Swedish mutual stock-market.How responsibility is integrated in fund management differ between the banks.

The world is facing huge challenges to overcome the climate crisis. A contributing actor to the environmental footprints are the textile industry and their production processes, which highlights the importance to act. The purpose of this study is therefore to investigate how a middle size company's purchase- and design department work to contribute to sustainable fashion and sustainable consumption. As well as to examine the challenges and possibilities that the fashion company faces in its sustainability work. The qualitative study has been prepared and is based on 15 interviews with employees in the purchase- and design department.

In theory, the logic behind partnerships is simple: All organisations have strengths, but no organisation has all the strength required to do everything. Triggered by global perspectives and challenged by sustainability objectives, the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro in 1992 pointed out needs for corporate responsibility. In this conference, Private-public partnership, PPP, was identified as a potential way to work towards sustainability, especially as a way to emphasize a corporate responsibility commitment. Nowadays, organizations exist to satisfy the needs and interests of all their stakeholders, such as customers, markets, shareholders, as well as secondary stakeholders such as media, NGOs, and society at large. Addressing all stakeholders and working towards a sustainable business development makes PPP a potential solution, but also a source of challenges.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to study the companies approach to sustainability and to examine the relationship between the report content and the sustainability efforts businesses are making in practice.Method: The study has a qualitative perspective with semi-structured interviews and content analysis as method to collect data. Three companies were interviewed; Tekniska Verken AB, Apoteket AB and Max hamburgerrestauranger AB. The content analysis was used when collecting data from the three companies? sustainability reports.Frame of reference: Legitimacy theory, Stakeholder theory, Institutional theory, the Pyramid of Corporate Social Responsibility.Results: The result showed that all companies are prepared to work for Sustainable development and that they view sustainability as an integrated part of their work. The sustainability report is the basis for sustainability reporting, which is a way for companies to demonstrate to their stakeholders what they stand for and what they implement in practice.

VET HUT!Om möjligheter och begränsningar med ämnesövergripande tematisk undervisning för hållbar utvecklingEducation for Sustainable developmentPossibilities and limitations with thematic interdisciplinary education for Sustainable development.Antal sidor: 39Att gå från abstrakta ord till konkret handling, när det gäller realiseringen av hållbar utveckling, är en högprioriterad uppgift i dagens och framtidens globala samhälle. En uppgift där skolan besitter en nyckelroll för att lägga grunden till de attityder de uppväxande och kommande generationerna kommer att tillämpa i sina vardagliga handlingar.I och med detta anser vi det av stor vikt att ifrågasätta utformandet av undervisningen i hållbar utveckling och vi har i denna studie undersökt lärarnas syn på villkor för ämnesövergripande temaundervisning i hållbar utveckling. Där vi mot bakgrund av ett av oss konstruerat exempel diskuterar möjligheter och svårigheter tillsammans med nio lärare.Konklusionen av studien visar att HUT bör ses som ett holistiskt etiskt förhållningssätt snarare än ett specifikt undervisningsämne, då det i slutänden är den gemensamma insatsen som ger förutsättningarna för förståelsen av samspelet mellan ekologiska, ekonomiska och sociala aspekter. För att åstadkomma detta är behovet stort för att i skolan praktisera den normativa undervisningsmetodiken, för att förse eleverna med kritiskt tänkande och förståelse att genom etiska och demokratiska handlingar påverkar det globala samhället i en hållbar riktning.Vi konstaterar att det finns ett stort engagemang och intresse för HUT-frågor samt att HUT redan finns tillstor del ute i praktiken. De villkor vi funnit för temaundervisning i hållbar utveckling är att det måste finns ett intresse, en organisation och struktur som möjliggör samarbete och utbyte mellan elever, mellan lärare och mellan elever och lärare.

This project was a collaboration with Kajsa Bergström. The projected was to develop the French/English deck of cards. We replaced the knight, queen and king with the numbers 11, 12 and 13. We worked with separate aesthetics and solutions after making that common change. I worked on an idea on how to make the cards look slim, by adapting a handcrafted look, full of details.

Sustainable development has become more and more important over the past years. The term Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is closely connected to Sustainable development and focuses on organizations responsibility towards the society and the environment in which it exists. Companies within the mining industry were among the first to initiate CSR-work due to the fact that they have a great impact at the local community, both socially and environmentally. Today they are still in the forefront of the development of CSR-questions in general, and community involvement and development in particular. Earlier studies made on this area have focused on the strategic level of community involvement and development.

This is my final thesis in landscapeplaning at the Swedish University ofAgricultural Sciences (SLU). I discuss howthe countryside should be planned, witha sustainable perspective. In the study Iexamine four important conditions forplanning.The countryside is often defined bywhat it is not which makes it difficult todescribe in general terms. The definition ofthe term countryside in this study is takenfrom the National Rural DevelopmentAgency (Glesbygdsverket). The conclusionis: Planners and scientists should have anunderstanding for the complexity of thecountryside; otherwise there is a risk oflosing the characteristics of the country.The legislation, goals and conventionswhich have an impact on the Swedishcountryside are both national and international.To find out how the settlementdevelopment is dealt with, I havestudied the Swedish building legislations(among others, plan- och bygglagen andmiljöbalken).Similar to the difficulties on finding asuitable definition for the term countryside,it is complex to define the term sustainabledevelopment.

This study focuses on the politics around ecological Sustainable development in Sweden today, with emphasis on urban development, building and living. The starting-point for this study is the environmental adapted city district of Stockholm, Hammarby Sjöstad. The primary focus of the study is to investigate what means of control the environmental investment in Hammarby Sjöstad is expressing, and to elucidate their ideological, political and social implications. The empirical material is primarily based up on the local Hammarby Sjöstad environmental program along with qualitative in-depth interviews with citizens of this district. The study is based on critical discourse analysis The result of this study is that the ecological investment in Hammarby Sjöstad partly constitutes a hidden exercise of power, taking shape as built-in physical measures in the dwellings and the neighbouring surroundings.

The climate issue is a significant question, and the problem is mainly caused by human activities. Everyone can help to counteract the enhanced Greenhouse effect by reducing the amounts of energy they use and by not consuming more products then they need.Schools are some of societies many consumers and therefore contribute to the Greenhouse effect. The School also has an important task; to teach and disseminate knowledge and information about the climate and the environment. According to the Swedish National Agency for Education, Skolverket, must all schools regularly consider the environment and Sustainable development throughout the entire education process. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many schools in Sweden today.One of many tools that can be used to coordinate environmental work and initiatives, and also to make it more efficient, is environmental management systems.

Humanity faces a major challenge with the climate and environmental crisis, largely driven by reckless recourse use and greenhouse gas emissions by corporations. The EU?s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aims to standardise corporate sustainability reporting, making practices more transparent and comparable. This directive seeks to enhance sustainability practices and guide market forces towards sustainability, supporting the EU?s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
