Turkiet är en attraktiv växande marknad inom kontraktsbaserad textilproduktion, den geografiska närheten för svenska modeföretagen är en bidragande faktor till detta. När modeföretag i Sverige kontrakterar produktion i Turkiet stöter de på många problem när de ska uppehålla sin uppförandekod och implementera denna i alla led i värdekedjan. I denna rapport är det BSCIs uppförandekod som är fokus. Olika synsätt i Turkiet på arbetsrättigheter och sociala rättigheter är vanliga problem och det skapar svårigheter för modeföretagets sociala hållbarhetsarbete. Rapportens syfte är att undersöka hur turkiska materialtillverkare lever upp till svenska modeföretags krav samt vad som kan förbättras och hur det kan gå till.

I got a request from Eleiko Sport AB regarding them needing help with trying to improve one of their products. The following examination project includes the principal- and primary construction reports within trying to make some improvements and optimizations on a stand for Kettle bells. I have in this project both made my own proposals to the stands legs, proposals on how to strengthen the shelf and also made an optimization of the original Kettle bell-stand. Starting point to this Paper is the idea and wish to adapt the society and its different activities to a recycle society. A building area in Göteborg is planned and investigated for such adaptation. In the district named Skogaberg, about 130 households totally are planned from what 20 are blocks of flats. The idea with this project is to constitute an alternative sewage system, a Blackwater system, were the fractions of most nutrients and least pollution are separated, taken care of and utilised. The aim is to get a market and use the nutrients of the organic waste from the household in agriculture use.

Projektet har gått ut på att göra ett flexibelt bord som ska kunna gå att förändra mellan högt och lågt och mellan olika storlekar på bordsskivan. Detta som en funktionell aspekt av föränderlighet men jag ville även införliva en emotionell föränderlighet. Jag vill att användaren, på ett handgripligt sätt, ska kunna uttrycka sig själv i bordet. Min intention är att man, genom att göra sitt eget unika bord, skapar ett starkare band mellan artefakt och dess användare. Nowadays, organizations exist to satisfy the needs and interests of all their stakeholders, such as customers, markets, shareholders, as well as secondary stakeholders such as media, NGOs, and society at large. Addressing all stakeholders and working towards a sustainable business development makes PPP a potential solution, but also a source of challenges.

Homelessness and homeless people is something that is described and explained in different ways over time. Since the 1950s, two discourses about homelessness and its causes has been competing with each other. One discourse hold the meaning that homelessness is caused by housing shortage and the other focus on individual shortcomings that make homeless to unsuitable tenants. In the media, homelessness and homeless often is associated with crime, addiction and mental illness, this reinforce the public perception of homeless people as deviants, which separates the homeless from society even more. The purpose of this study is to examine whether media representations of homeless and homelessness in an evening paper and a morning paper, has changed in the 2000s, and if these representations are consistent with those found in the reports of homelessness from The National Board of Wealth and Welfare. In order to achieve the purpose of the study and answer our research questions, the authors have used a discourse analytical approach using some key analytical tools from both critical discourse analysis and discourse theory in the analysis of the empirical material.

This essay revolves around the reformation and sectorization of Swedish psychiatry starting in the 1970?s. Psychiatry was to change from being based in closed asylums to being an institution in the middle of society, finding social solutions to mental illness and working through a dynamic network of various care givers, such as welfare officers, nurses and psychiatrists. This new kind of psychiatry was first tested in Nacka, where psychiatric reformers Johan Cullberg and Bengt Berggren were the heads of a six-year long pioneer project of sectorized psychiatric care. My specific purpose is to analyze the new ideas of mental illness and of psychiatry?s role in society which were introduced in this project and how they were expressed in the official reports presenting it.The reformation was preceded by a public debate concerning psychiatry, which had intensified a few years around 1970.

The study begins with an evaluation of the Taif Agreement. After acknowledging its effect on Lebanon?s consociational system the function and operation of Lijphart?s four consociational elements are analyzed.

Denna studie bygger på ett uppdrag av Skellefteå Kraft, innefattande en förstudie som ska skapa underlag för beslut om företagets framtida hållbarhetsredovisning. För att hållbarhetsredovisningen ska bli trovärdig är det viktigt att informationen som kommuniceras är väsentlig, det vill säga fokuserad på de frågor som är mest avgörande för företaget. Studien syftar till att öka förståelsen för vilken information som kan vara väsentlig för företag att redovisa i en hållbarhetsredovisning. Genom en textanalys, en narrativ beskrivning av fallstudiens aktörsgrupper samt utveckling av en analysmodell avses aktörsgruppernas uppfattningar om vad som är väsentlig hållbarhetsinformation kartläggas. Utgångspunkten för den kvalitativa och explorativa fallstudien var ett aktörsorienterat synsätt, vilket genomsyrade arbetet med en intern väsentlighetsanalys.

The purpose of this master thesis was to examine how the corporations quoted on the A-list on the Stockholm Stock Exchange were affected by the introduction of IFRS 3 Business Combinations. Their opinion about the accounting rule and the acquired goodwill in particular was focused as well. The authors wanted to see if there were any changes in ROE, return on equity, after the introduction of the new accounting standard.Data for this study was collected through interviews, questionnaires and annual reports. Interviews were held with corporate accounting managers of Assa Abloy, WM-data, Electrolux, Ericsson and SCA. Questionnaires were sent by e-mail to 50 companies and were answered by 30 of them.
