Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur statligt ägda företag arbetar med hållbarhetsfrågor och hur dessa förhåller sig till affärsverksamheten.  Metod: Vi har i denna uppsats använt oss av en kvalitativ undersökningsstrategi. Vi har vidare genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer där vi har använt oss av en intervjuguide  innehållande fyra ämnesområden som knyter an till uppsatsens frågeställning. Ämnesområdena är företagets mål, tillvägagångssätt och strategier, GRI:s ramverk samt hållbarhetsredovisningens effekter och framtidsutsikter.Empiri: Vi har samlat in vår empiri genom telefonintervjuer och intervjuer på plats hos de deltagande företagen i studien. De deltagande företagen i denna studie är Vattenfall, Teracom, SAS, Samhall, TeliaSonera, Green Cargo och PostNord där vi har träffat ansvariga inom hållbarhetsområden på respektive företag.Slutsats: Samtliga företag i studien har antingen påbörjat eller strävar efter att integrera hållbarhetsfrågorna i affärsverksamheten, vilket de anser är den enda vägen att gå. Det finns däremot skillnader på hur långt de olika företagen kommit med denna integration.

Övergången från CATIA V4 till CATIA V5 innebär nya möjligheter för konstruktörerna på Scania att arbeta med Knowledge Based Engineering, KBE, för att effektivisera och kvalitets-säkra sitt arbete. Då CATIA V5 är en ny plattform som innehåller verktyg med samlingsnamnet knowledgware, för att bygga in kunskap i modeller ville Scania undersöka potentialen i att arbeta med KBE, och hur detta skulle kunna ske på Scania. Vid traditionell produktutveckling tas en helt ny artikel fram vid behov och ofta innebär detta att arbete som tidigare utförts, görs om igen. Syftet med arbetet är därför att undersöka huruvida KBE i CATIA V5 kan erbjuda möjligheter att återanvända kunskap från tidigare arbete och samtidigt kvalitetssäkra denna, samt utreda vilka knowledgewarelicenser som i så fall kan vara lämpliga för Scania.För att göra detta har en litteraturstudie genomförts för att undersöka vad som har gjorts inom området, och även en intervjustudie har utförts inom R&D på Scania. Vidare har sakkunniga på Linköpings Universitet och Tekniska Högskolan i Jönköping intervjuats.

This study deals with integration between core subjects and character subjects on the upper secondary schools Electrical Engineering Programme. The purpose is to investigate how four teachers define subject integration, which the advantages and disadvantages are according to them and what the purpose is whit integrate the core subjects and the character subjects.The finding in this study highlighted that between themselves the teachers had different definitions of subject integration. It is a well-known fact that textiles and carpets have benign sound-absorbing properties. It is desirable to have quantified values of these properties ? especially for architects and interior designers. They often need to be able to giveaccount for the acoustic properties of their designs at a relatively early stage and sometimes have strict acoustic classifications imposed upon them by their contractor. A product with documented acoustic properties would aid when prescribing interior elements.The purpose of this thesis is to develop a wall-mounted panel in hand-tufted material ? aesthetically pleasing and versatile but also having documented and quantified acoustic properties.

Det här examensarbetets syfte är att ta fram en metod för att på ett enkelt och effektivt sätt med låg mätosäkerhet ajourhålla höjdkurvor på platser där marknivån har förändrats i en omfattning så att kommunens höjdkurvor behöver revideras. Eftersom det tidigare inte har funnits en utarbetad metod för att ajourhålla höjdkurvor har jag fått pröva mig fram till en metod som har gett tillfredsställande resultat. Metoden som har tagits fram är lätt att använda och gör att man på ett enkelt sätt kan uppdatera kommunenens baskarta med ny information. Genom att mäta in punkter med hjälp av GNSS-teknik och sedan använda programmet AutoCAD Civil 3D, har det gått att få de resultat som eftersträvades. Metoden som tagits fram ger kommunen möjlighet att uppdatera mindre områden i sina kartor på ett enkelt sätt. Det som krävs är en mottagare som en person kan hantera, programmet AutoCAD Civil 3D och ett område som inte är större än att en person på ett rimligt sätt kan mäta in det till fots..

This essay gives the reader an overview of the different problems and issues a landscape architect might meet, in the process of planning and realizing an eco-village. Its aim is to stimulate new ideas, based on the traditional, present and future working field of landscape architects. Municipal safety work is an issue frequently discussed. The new legislation about accident prevention obeys the Swedish municipality to present an action program for accident prevention. Texo Application has created robots that they call for satellites; with these you can feed in storage pallets into a satellite storage. Satellite storages consist of channels in height (e.g.3 to 8 pieces) and width (e.g.3 to 100 pieces). Channels can be different long (e.g. 5 to 200 pallets). At deposit of a storage pallet the truck insert the satellite in a channel and then the pallet, the pallet is driven into the channel until it reaches another pallet or the other end.

This report is the result of a project work carried out at Karlstad University in conjunctionwith the local consulting firm Camatec where most of the work has been performed.The work can be classified as a classic engineering work with supportive theories andcalculations which in this context is relevant.The engineering project has focused on developing new standards for a conveyor that is usedin the Värmland paper industry where large rolls of paper are produced. A conveyor can takeits appearance in many different forms but in this thesis it has been an exemplary look and ithas also become modulatable with a central section, a drive end and a turning end.The construction work has been build under CAD programs such as Pro Engineer, drawingshave been created and costings have been analyzed. I wrote this essay with the aim to explore, understand and get some insights into what it is that effects the possibilities to plan for ecological sustainability and make it happen. There is no clear definition of sustainable development but world top meetings and reports have developed goals and strategies. I will present some of the theory at hand but most of this essay is based on six interviews with planners at local governments from around the country. Several of the local governments are using the goals issued by the state government by putting them into their large scale plans. During the interviews some obstacles were identified, like a lack of resourses, disadvantaging powerstruktures, conflicts with marketeconomy and simply different meenings about what ecological sustainability is in practice. My method of getting information through interviews and documenting them by taking notes had, as all methods, it?s weakneses.
