This thesis is a chronological Survey over the hut and house remains from the Stone Age to the Early Middle Ages in Eastern Central Sweden. The thesis also contains a test which I have conducted to see which investigation method had the best results in identifying house remains at an archaeological site. The aim of the study was to look at the differences in groups in Karlskrona Kommun in comparison to a larger population of work-groups in Sweden. The instrument used was the Team Diagnostic Survey developed by Ruth Wageman, J. Richard Hackman and Erin Lehman (2005) in order to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses in work-groups, as well as explore the group?s behaviours and effectiveness. The results show that there was a significant difference between the Karlskrona Kommun groups and the larger population of Swedish groups in the following areas: stable, clarity, challenge, diversity, whole task, resources and availability..

Uppsatsen avser undersöka attityder till utomeuropeisk invandring i sex europeiska länder: Sverige, Norge, Danmark, Nederländerna, Frankrike och Storbritannien. Attityder till invandring undersöks utifrån de två begreppen essentialistisk homogenitet och kulturell homogenitet samt syn på invandrare. Även ett komparativt perspektiv tillämpas för att undersöka huruvida det finns skillnader i attityder mellan olika länder. Uppsatsens bakgrundsavsnitt ger en kort genomgång av immigrationshistoria och dagens invandrarstruktur samt ländernas olika förhållningsätt i mottagandet av invandrare. Därefter diskuteras uppsatsen teoretiska bakgrund i kulturforskning och postkolonialism, följt av den tidigare forskningen som genomförts på området attityder till invandring.

AbstractTo benefit the economic growth of a country, it is important for the inhabitants to make the decision to become business owners. Sweden today, apart from the rest of Europe, is facing a growing problem. The numbers of companies are growing, but the numbers of company owners are not. As a result of this, the employment is not able to develop under the same conditions, when the opportunities of employment decrease. Research shows, that the interest for owning a company among the Swedish youth has increased.

This study aims to find possible effects from the use of Voice over internet protocol software together with computer gaming on young adults English output. The study also tries to find effects of media usage on output and if there exists differences between boys and girls. This is done through analysis based on data collected from 28 informants, age 16-18. The data consists of recordings of individual stories coupled with a Survey. The empirical data is analyzed in both quantitative and qualitative way.

One of the main goals of the national curriculum is to encourage children?s personal opinion and support them in development of argumentation ability and communication skills. All this is very important for the children as members of the future society.The purpose of this essay is to investigate how primary school teachers estimate the meaning of the pupil?s argumentation as well as which methods and approaches are assumed by the teachers to be most appropriate for children?s argumentation development. The study also considers the questions how the teachers motivate their pupil has to argue in the classroom and how the students by themselves understand the concept of argumentation.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka huruvida skandinaviska mäns attityd och handling gentemot jämställdhet påverkas vid ett faderskap av döttrar. Studier som tidigare genomförts visar att män med döttrar tenderar att ha större insikt i hur kvinnors position i samhället ser ut. Dock är dessa utförda på utomeuropeiska länder och resultaten visar även på att detta samband är kulturellt betingat. På grund av detta finns en vikt i att undersöka om detta fenomen även finns hos skandinaviska män, då de skandinaviska länderna ses som några av de mest jämställda samhällena i världen. Något som även saknas bortsätt från en av dessa är att studierna inte undersöks hur sambandet mellan individers attityder och faktiska handlingar ser ut.

This bachelor thesis portray a project where the main task were to develop a computer based system prototype for handling of absence report at the upper secondary school af Chapman in Karlskrona. The project has been conducted in cooperation with students from the university programs software engineering and information economy at Blekinge Institute of Technology. The aim of my examination work was to compare and research how russian respective swedish teachers make use of educational aesthetic methods such as drawing, drama, music and dance in the teaching of core school subjects ? mathematics and swedish respective russian languages. The aim of this work was to find out which of these methods are used by pedagogues in the process of education and on what level are they integrated into the theoretical pedagogic work. The point was to also analyse the regulation documents used as pedagogical base in schools i've been doing my Survey in. This essay investigates the knowledge about the dialect in Jönköping among youths in the same city. My aim is primarily to focus on their knowledge around words and expressions in the dialect of Jönköping. My method is both qualitative and quantitative and the Survey was performed through questionnaires that were sent out to 50 students. In the questionnaires the students were asked to translate words from the dialect in Jönköping but also to freely speculate around the features in the dialect. My findings indicate that the knowledge around the students own dialect is very poor. Knowledge about the words and expressions that were used in my questionnaire were also poor but among those words that the students actually recognized many originated from the Romany language.

The knowledge of early employment experiences has evolved over the last decade in countries such as Australia and Great Britain. In Sweden, this type of research is still unusual and the aim of this study was to break new ground by highlighting some areas that could be of extra interest in the Swedish early employment research to come. A focus in the study was to give an overview of what job sectors school students work in; and the amount of jobs aquired through school-organized work placement, private social networks or personal marketing of own merits. In addition to this, a multi variate analysis was carried out to find patterns in the picture of early employment experiences among students at upper secondary school. This Survey was made during the autumn of 2002 and the beginning of 2003, on commission from the National Board of Forestry. The purpose with the Survey was to gather experience and knowledge in the organisation about fencing and this was made through interviews. The ambition was also to get knowledge from people outside the organisation that have great experience of forestry and fencing. The interviews were based on questions that have been composed by the author with help from the supervisors. The questions were the same to both the personal from the National Board of Forestry and to the foresters. Interviews were also made with private landowners, gamekeepers, game researcher, the County Administrative Board, the National Road Administration, pole and net retailers and contractors. The target group for this work is the National Board of Forestry to be forwarded to persons interested in forestry with the ambition to spread knowledge about how to prevent damage on the forest by browsing animals. The deer populations are big in the south of Sweden and growing populations have increased the damage on plantations of broadleaves of the most species.
