During 2012, the employer of this essay carried out a telephone Survey with 18000 participants and a web panel Survey with 708 participants. Those who partook in the telephone Survey were given a choice to join the web panel. The purpose of this work is to study the participants of the telephone Survey and see if they reflect the Swedish population with regards to several socio-demographic factors. Also, we intend to investigate if the propensity to join the web panel differs for participants of the telephone Survey with regards to various socio-demographic affiliations. It is also of interest to study if the response pattern is different for participants of the telephone Survey that would like to join the web panel and those who reject.

The purpose of this work is to investigate what students in grades 4 to 6 at a school in southern Värmland know about cyber bullying. It also aims to find out whether there is or has been any cyber bullying in grades 4-6 at the school. The issues at work are what do cyber bullying? Is there a difference between cyber bullying in the different grades? (4-6 grades) Are their differences in cyber bullying when it comes to sex? And there is no connection between the mental bullying and cyber bullying? The material for the work was collected through a questionnaire Survey conducted with students in grades 4 to 6. The Survey was conducted anonymously, they were asked what sex it was and what grade they are in.

The purpose of this Survey is to better understand how students in Swedish upper secondary school perceive knowledge in history. 44 students from two different schools took part in the Survey. The students partaking were asked to make a rough plan for a course in history, in which they were to both suggest contents of the course and also motivate their choice of content by arguing their view of the purpose of knowledge in history. The results of the Survey were then compared to the curriculum of the history subject. The Survey shows that a majority of the students asked find modern history, especially World War 1 & 2, and Swedish history to be of importance.

The purpose of this study is to show and explain how and why Swedish young people use Youtube.We conducted a written Survey, asking approximately 120 students between the ages 16 and 18. The Survey was carried out in the classrooms in order to receive answers from as many students as possible. We then interviewed six of them to gain further knowledge of why they use Youtube the way they do.The Survey showed that Youtube is used by all of the students and very frequently by most of them. Comedy and music videos are by far the most popular genres that are viewed. This report is part of an Bachelor of Science work in forestry, conducted for the community of Borås, Sweden. This paper examines dialect as a rhetorical means of persuasion. A Survey containing inquires about four different Swedish dialects have been handed out mainly in Södertörn University and Stockholm University, in order to research the values and connotations of theese dialects. The four chosen dialects are as following: Göteborgska, Stockholmska, Norrländska and Skånska. The results of the Survey are processed and compiled to see which attitudes these values and connotations may indicate to each dialect. These attitudes and values are then discussed in correlation with five rhetorical theories: Attitude as a means of persuation, Ethos, Persona, Rhetorical Agency and Pierre Bourdieu?s theory of Field and Habitus.
