I FORM is the biggest health magazine of Scandinavia. It is a magazine that treats subjects like health food, training, sports gear, sex and relationships. The magazine addresses women directly and only women appear in the magazine.This is a study on how I FORM portrays women in their segment called ?Addicted to? (Biten av). It is a study of what kind of stereotypes that are used and also what kind of pictures that has been used to portrait the women.
Psykopaten i garderoben : En queer läsning av Bret Easton Ellis American Psycho
The novel American Psycho was first published in 1991. It recieved harsh criticism and was viewed as a work of heterosexism, misogyny and pointless violence. Despite the criticism, the protagonist, a wealthy serial killer yuppie namned Patrick Bateman, fascinated the readers. He hides his monstrosity behind a façade of heteronormativity, but this essay shows that the norms in American Psycho are fragile. Batemans relationships are shallow, his identity is constructed out of traditional masculinitynorms and even though he?s homophobic there?s a homoerotic undertone in the text, as well as gothic patterns that give the novel a fair amount of queerness too.

The major aim of the thesis is to describe the networks, relations and marketing of some university libraries and their customers in the year 2000. I illustrate how these issues interact and whether they have changed due to the recent development of technology and if so, how. The thesis is based on interviews with two directors of libraries and two librarians at two different libraries. A small survey with 16 questionnaires has also been performed in order to get a more general view on librarians' opinions in these questions. The thesis mainly shows that the networks in which the respondents take part primarily exist in the library sphere and towards the universities.

Psykosocial arbetsmiljö och säkerhetsklimat: en explorativ studie på mindre flygplatser i Sverige
The aim of this paper is to examine the psychosocial work environment and safety culture in minor Swedish airports. The purpose is also to investigate the relationships between these two. The paper deals with theories regarding psychosocial work environment, organizational culture and safety as well as safety culture and safety climate. The participants are air traffic controllers working in minor airports in Sweden. The psychosocial work environment was measured with Copenhagen psychosocial questionnaire (COPSOQ) and the safety culture with the safety culture assessment questionnaire (SCAQ).

The aim of the study is to examine which present conceptions of sexuality there are in treatment of substance abuse for men. The intention is to examine how staff members in these environments perceive clients? sex and sexuality as well as studying if and in that case how they work with sexuality in treatment. A qualitative method formed the methodological approach and semistructured interviews were carried out for the collection of data. Four staff members from two different treatment institutions for substance abuse were interviewed.

The aim of this study is to investigate how länsstyrelsen as a supervisory authority to private compulsory care-institutions works, to guarantee adequate institutional care of unprivileged children and youth with special problems.In order to reach this aim the following questions are to be answered:? Describe länsstyrelsen´s supervision of private compulsory care-institutions (HVB-hem)? How does the officials at the three chosen county administrative boards find about the responsibilityTo answer the questions of this bachelor thesis I have chosen to apply qualitative methods, by interviewing five supervisory authorities from länsstyrelsen, in three different county administrative boards in Sweden.The findings of the study show that officials sometimes find it hard to know the exact meaning and differences between accountability and to be accountable. It also shows that they tend to think that the relationship between länsstyrelsen and the private compulsory care institutions is complicated. ?Hjärtat känns inte svart längre? : En kvalitativ studie om hur den kriminella bakgrunden kan påverka ungdomars identitet
The aim of the study is to gain a deeper understanding of how young people's current identity is affected by their criminal background. We also want to understand the impact of resources in these young people?s social networks (that is their social capital) on their life course and formation and reformation of their identity. The theoretical frameworks used (as a tool to be able to analyze the empirical data) are theories of stigma, identity and social capital. The empirical study was conducted using semi-structured interviews that focused on questions about the life-story of informants.
Militär identitet : En kvalitativ studie om att vara anställd soldat i Försvarsmakten
My study was conducted to provide a deeper understanding of the identity of employee soldiers in the armed forces and their experience of their role in the military context. To describe and identify the soldier's identity formation, values and norms working in group processes are taken into account. As the individual identifies her or himself whit the group, the various phenomena as hostility to other military groups arise. The individuals weld together with other group members to form strong normative relationships within the group. Through a qualitative research approach eight soldiers in a regiment in western Sweden were interviewed, four of them were group executives or deputy group leaders and others were ordinary soldiers.

With the advent of a range of social networks, librarians all over the world have startedto ask themselves how this new technology can be used as a way to market theirlibraries. Today's information websites and search engines are difficult competitors forlibraries and information centers, and are forcing traditional information institutions tomarket themselves in new ways.Marketing theories have traditionally concerned themselves with money transactionsand marketing of specific services and/or products. Relationship marketing theories, onthe other hand, focus more on the relationship between the customer and the companythat produces the product or service. These two parties are seen as co-producers, andrelationship marketing theories tend to focus more on a win-win situation, than on thecompany gaining power of the customer. The relationship is the important thing, and thetheories concentrate to a great extent on how to nourish these relationships.This paper is a discussion about whether Facebook as a social network is a usable toolfor library marketing.
Frivården : Hur ser relationen ut mellan lekmannaövervakare och klient?
Syftet med denna undersökning är att se hur lekmannaövervakare och klienter uppfattar relationerna sinsemellan ur ett sociologiskt perspektiv. Även hur dessa parter uppfattar relationen när det gäller kontakten och tilliten.Vi har utgått från en kvalitativ intervjumetod där vi har intervjuat sammanlagt åtta personer varav fyra lekmannaövervakare och fyra klienter.I arbetet har vi utgått ifrån fyra teorier, intrycksstyrning, stigmatisering, stämplingsteori av Erving Goffman samt den abstrakta tilliten av Anthony Giddens.Resultatet visar att lekmannaövervakarna och klienterna har en viss tillit till varandra men visar samtidigt att det finns gränser på hur nära man som lekmannaövervakare vill komma sin klient och tvärtom. Vi har också kommit fram till att både klienter och lekmannaövervakare har en vetskap om hur man gör för att bygga upp ett förtroende hos varandra, men att alla bygger detta på olika sätt.I analysen kommer du att få läsa om hur vi kopplat vårt resultat till de fyra olika teorierna för att sedan kunna ge en förklaring ur ett sociologiskt perspektiv.Nyckelord: Frivård, relationer, tillit, klient och lekmannaövervakare.

Frida and Veckorevyn are two big magazines that have a big influence on young women. One subject that frequently occurs is articles about men, written by women. This study focus on how (with which qualities and weaknesses) these women choose to subscribe men.

Upprättandet av kundrelationer med minskad fysisk närvaro : En kvalitativ studie om Danske Bank
Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning av hur en bank på den svenska marknadenupprätthåller kundrelationer via en Internetbaserad distributionskanal. Vi har utfört en intervjumed Danske Banks Head of Channels Daniel Wahlström för att insamla primärdata för attundersöka och analysera vilka faktorer som är essentiella för att upprätthålla kundrelationervid en fysisk distansering från kund.Analys av primärdata har skett utifrån utvalda relevanta teorier och perspektiv som behandlarkundrelationer, tjänstekvalitet, kundlojalitet, kundupplevt värde, e-lojalitet samt CustomerRelationship Management.Resultatet av studien visar att banken har ett väl fungerande arbete med kundrelationer ochsitt CRM-system utifrån de teorier som studien har baserat sig på. Alltjämt försöker bankenanpassa sig efter distanseringen från det fysiska bankkontoret till en Internetbaserad kanal därtjänsten också har utvecklats jämsmed kund. Dock kvarstår en del emotionella utmaningar iarbetet med en personlig relation med kund i denna kanal..
