The purpose of this study is that, based on expertise in special education tutoring, examine the degree of Supervision demanded by teachers in primary schools. As a result of this study, we can see the views teachers have regarding guidance within the following issues: the demand for tutoring, the importance of conversation and reflection, and guidance from the specialist teacher.Since the study deals with phenomena of a qualitative nature, we use semi-structured interviews in the empirical part of trying to understand the informants' way of looking at the phenomenon we are investigating. The study included interviews with six teachers in the elementary school year?s 1-3. The results show that there are more opportunities than obstacles to mentoring.

Inspired by the article Special support on dubious grounds published in Teachers News (2010), we chose to examine the methods and procedures regarding acting out children without diagnosis. In preliminary work, we discussed the various forms and causes of acting out behavior among children in preschool and Supervision and conflict management. The topic seemed relevant since we on several occasions experienced a feeling of inadequacy and lack of knowledge in our educational role both in teacher training placement time and during our working years as supply teacher and graduated child minders. Based on our past experiences and interests of acting out children without the diagnosis, work limited extent and time aspect for the course of the work we chose to only interview three pedagogues. Through the interviews, we wanted to compare these three pedagogues description of their work around acting out children without diagnosis in relation to accepted theories such as structure and clarity.

This survey is about pre-school teacher?s Supervision over children?s play. In an earlier study children expressed that they had places they called their own. In those places where they were in charge the adults were not welcome unless they were invited by the children. This aroused our interest to do a survey about children?s influence over their playing time.

Denna kvalitativa studie undersöker personalens upplevelser av grupphandledning som ett yrkesmässigt stöd i psykosocialt arbete. Vidare undersöks hur grupphandledning kan bidra till personalens välbefinnande samt vilka egenskaper handledaren bör besitta. Studien utgår från en hermeneutisk forskningstradition med en kvalitativ ansats. Undersökningen bygger på semistrukturerade intervjuer med fyra yrkesverksamma personer med erfarenhet av grupphandledning. Resultatet tolkas utifrån Kadushins handlednings modell i socialt arbete och en förenklad form utav Antonovskys salutogena modell.

The papers purpose is to examine how the Botkyrka and Huddinge municipalities implement their juvenile law offenders' programs. The paper briefly and concisely outlines the history of juvenile offenders and the social services programs dealing with them. We focus on how two municipalities?, Huddinge and Botkyrka, implement these programs. The municipalities belong to the same judicial district,?Södertörns tingsrätt?.

Syftet med vår studie har varit att undersöka de handleddas upplevelse av handledaren utifrån den auktoritära respektive den mer jämlika handledarrollen. För att samla in vårt material genomförde vi semistrukturerade intervjuer med sex socialsekreterare från fem olika kommuner. Kravet var att de skulle ha haft extern handledning under minst tre år. Då vi avsåg att få fram de handleddas upplevelser använde vi oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Vi valde att använda oss av French och Ravens perspektiv på maktbaser för att analysera vårt material.Vårt huvudsakliga resultat visar i korta drag att några av de intervjuade socialsekreterarna har erfarenhet från auktoritära handledare men samtliga uppger att en auktoritär handledare inte är önskvärd.

The corporate world has become increasingly unpredictable and complex. Several companies are dependent on a rapidly developing market. The development has created a positive impact on production but on working conditions it has resulted in increased work pace and load. Psychosocial and stress-related problems has increased. The development has also meant a greater awareness of work environment issues relevant to competition for customers and employees.

Caring for children at hospital with palliative care needs arouses different reactions in nurses and depends on what prior knowledge and experience nurses have. To besides shift focus from to care children palliative to care curative is further a strain and an emotional changeover. The aim of this study was to illuminate nurse?sperceptions about caring for children at hospital with palliative care needs, and how they shift focus of care between children with palliative care needs and children with curative care needs. The study has a qualitative approach and data were collected with interviews from two focus groups.

Det övergripande syftet är att beskriva betydelsen av yrkesprofessionell handledning i socialt arbete. Syften preciseras utifrån tre frågeställningar; att beskriva och skapa förståelse för hur socialarbetare upplever yrkesprofessionell handledning, att beskriva och skapa förståelse för hur socialarbetare upplever handledarens roll, och att beskriva och skapa förståelse för varför grupphandledning upplevs som en viktig del i den yrkesprofessionella handledningen. För att söka svar tillämpades halvstrukturerade intervjuer i samtal med socialarbetarna. Analysmetoden är inspirerad av grundad teori. I analysprocessen tolkades det empiriska materialet utifrån ett systemteoretiskt perspektiv.Resultatet visar att yrkesprofessionell handledning ger möjlighet till reflektion, vilket är utvecklande för socialarbetares kompetens i arbetet i med klienterna.

 During our education time, we have heard on several occasions how the high changing rate in the society also influences the education area. That changing process mainly originates from the transform that a school underwent, i.e. the decentralization meaning a delegation of responsibility from a national to local government and the particular school. The main idea that started a changing process goes under the slogan ?a school for everyone?.

The aim of this study was to, using previously collected data from self-declared antisocial behaviour questionnaires, examine if the crime frequency has been different between adolescents that have either been referred to two different forms of open care in social service, child and youth psychiatric inpatient care or have been sent to Homes for Specialised Supervision. The criminality frequency and the most common crimes committed were compared between the study groups and further between genders in each particular study group. Statistical significance testing was used and the results of the survey revealed that juvenile delinquents that had committed severe criminal acts were represented in all four groups. The study group with adolescents in national care was the most different from other groups. These youths seemed to have had a lower crime frequency than the other groups with the exception assault and robbery.

The purpose of our essay is to investigate the role of the practice period under Supervision from a skilled practioner as a part of the student?s development of knowledge. This essay?s main participants are students who are studying their sixth semester during the spring 2009 at the bachelor program of social work at the University of Gothenburg and active skilled practioners during the autumn of 2008 and spring 2009. The essay has primarily a qualitative approach.

ABSTRACTBackground: As a nurse it is a part of your work description to precepting students. A good relationship between preceptor and student is important for a successful precepting witch can be rewarding for both parties. There are many studies on how nurses in hospital departments experience precepting students, however it is not as explored in the prehospital care.Objective: To describe ambulance nurses' experience of precepting nursing students in the third and final year of university-level nursing school.Method: A qualitative study was conducted. Nine respondents at two ambulance stations in central Sweden were selected with the help of strategic convenience sample. The informants were nurses with specialist education in ambulance/prehospital care who had experience of working in the ambulance unit for at least a year.Result: The majority of participants were positive to precepting students and the time seemed adequate.

This essay discusses the interaction between the authorities in Nacka municipality in Sweden and supervisors within the eldercare. In Nacka politicians have gradually started delegate responsibility for how care-giving for the elder should be done and focus instead on formulating economical objectives and overall rules. It is up to the approved supervisors of eldercare to deliver good care and quality. The method chosen to accomplish this is public choice. This method is a part of the big New Public Management (NPM) reform which have had a big impact on Swedish public sector since the 1980´s.

This literature review describes organic pig production in Sweden, its advantages and disadvantages, but also how its problems can be reduced or solved. Organic pigs have the possibility to a more natural behaviour than conventional pigs. With outdoor pigs comes problems, especially during wintertime, concerning water and feed supply, thermal environment and Supervision. Parasites and leakage of plant nutrients are other difficulties that comes with outdoor pigs. All problems and difficulties can be reduced or put right through correct management.
