Vid händelse att en närstående plötsligt och oväntat förlorar en anhörig startar vanligen en lång sorgeprocess. Processen utlöser ofta en mängd olika reaktioner hos de närstående och som varierar från person till person. Dessa reaktioner ställs intensivvårdssjuksköterskorna inför och ett gott bemötande är av stor betydelse. För att intensivvårdssjuksköterskorna skall kunna utveckla sin kunskap i bemötande behöver vi söka förståelse i hur det är att möta närstående i dessa utsatta situationer. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva intensivvårdssjuksköterskors erfarenheter i bemötande av närstående som plötsligt och oväntat förlorat en anhörig.

This project started with an exploration of geometric shapes and textile materials. It resulted in a chair made out of textile bands with different elasticity. The surface for sitting is flat when the chair is not used, and changes in the moment you sit down and gets a new shape. A piece of furniture that adapts to each individual. The chair emphasizes the important relationship between human and product as the person using it becomes a part of the chair for a moment..

Alzheimers sjukdom är den vanligaste formen av demenssjukdom och kännetecknas av minnessvårigheter, förvirring och en försämring av den kognitiva förmågan. Alzheimers sjukdom beskrivs som en anhörigsjukdom och den mest förekommande anhörigvårdaren är maken/makan eller partnern. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa partnerns upplevelse att leva i en relation med en person med Alzheimer sjukdom i det gemensamma hemmet. Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie vilken genomfördes utifrån Polit och Becks (2012) niostegsmodell. Litteratursökningen utfördes i databaserna CINAHL samt PubMed.

Silviculture in young stands in Sweden is below the mark concerning what has to be done in the forest, and it is time to solve the problem. The problem will not be solved only by the private forest owners, professional help is needed. Skogsägarna Mellanskog is one of four forest unions in Sweden who wants to play a role and take responsibility for forestry in the middle of Sweden. This academic essay is based on a market survey sent to 350 forest owners in the Örebro district. 186 of them answered the questions, giving a response frequence of 53 percentage. The purpose of the essay is to find the determining factors which will make a forest owner to find a collaborator when planning and carrying out the silviculture measures in young stands. The result of the survey shows that the forest owners are anxious about the price and the costs. The costs have a severe effect if the silviculture measures in young stands will be carried out or not.

ABSTRACT Introduction: This study is based on Aantonovskys SOC-theory; Sense of Coherence. SOC can be described as a theory which describes how a person experience her existence and the theory is based on three key expressions; comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness. Aim: The aim of the study is to examine a group of elderly (>80 years) men and women who live alone to investigate how many percent of the group that estimate a high value of SOC. The study aims to investigate which factors contribute to the fact that a person achieve a high value of SOC and increase the understanding about how these factors concretely can appear in a persons life. Methods: Questionnaire (SOC scale) and Interviews.

Abstrakt Bakgrund: Typ 2 diabetes är en livsstilssjukdom som ökar både i Sverige och globalt. Egenvården är en viktig del i behandlingen av sjukdomen och är en livslång uppgift. Sjuksköterskan har en viktig roll i att, genom stöd, undervisning och vägledning, motivera och stärka personens egenvårdskapacitet. För att bättre förstå personens behov i egenvården är det betydelsefullt att sjuksköterskan får ta del av personers erfarenheter av egenvård vid typ 2 diabetes. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att belysa personers erfarenheter av egenvård vid typ 2 diabetes.

Vi hade ett intresse av att se om vi med hjälp av den realistiska livsformsanalysen kunde få fram vilka livsformer våra deltidsbrandmän lever och hur de hanterar balansen mellan ordinarie arbete, arbetet på Räddningstjänsten och sitt övriga liv. Vi ville på så vis få en ökad förståelse för deras ?livspussel? och varför man väljer att vara deltidsbrandman. Livsformsanalysen löper som en röd tråd genom hela vår uppsats då den belyser hur olika människors vardag kan te sig. Alla har en egen definition på vad ?det goda livet? innebär och vilka medlen är för att nå dit.

The purpose is to illustrate the phenomenon of self-harm from a social psychological and sociological perspective. The purpose is furthermore to examine the role social relationships play in the individuals´ self- imagine and what role does identification play for anyone who harm themselves? We want to examine in what way social relationships are important and how they function for individuals who harm themselves, both once they have started to harm themselves, and if the relationships in any part caused the cutting to begin with.Questions:How do individuals shape their identity based on self- harm? Which self-image do individuals have who self-harm? Is there anything in the person's previous social relationships that have caused them to begin to hurt themselves?Method:In this paper we have analyzed five autobiographies. We have used open coding from grounded theory as analytical method and subject positions based on discourse analysis.Theory:We have used the Cooley concepts looking glass self, Foucault's theory of power, Giddens' concept of ontological security and existential anxiety.Results and Analysis:We found six different categories that we thought were central. These were negative self-image, guilt, lack of family support, negative experiences of others' views, the protective identity as self- harmer and insecure social relationships in school.Conclusion:The self-harming is a very complex behavior.

People living with disabilities in our society today are more likely to be without a job compared to the rest of the population. The fact that a high number of people are not given the opportunity to work, and thereby being self-sufficient, is a failure for both the individual and the society. My purpose with the study is to increase knowledge and understanding regarding disabilities in the working life, with focus on the disability dyslexia. In the study, I am investigating the employer?s obligations and rights when employing a person with disabilities.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att, utifrån vetenskaplig litteratur, beskriva hur patienter med KOL upplever att livskvaliteten påverkas av sjukdomen och hur sjuksköterskor kan bidra till att bibehålla livskvaliteten hos dessa patienter samt att beskriva artiklarnas kvalitet gällande deltagare och bortfall i undersökningsgruppen.Metod: Deskriptiv litteraturstudie. Artiklarna har sökts i databasen Medline och via manuella sökningar vilket resulterade i 13 artiklar.Resultat: Patienter med KOL beskriver att oro och ångest över de fysiska begränsningarna som kommer med sjukdomen kan ha en negativ inverkan på livskvaliteten. Genom att delta i fritidsaktiviteter samt att umgås med familj och vänner höjdes välmående och livskvaliteten. Trots att de flesta patienterna var påverkade av symtom, sjukdom och oförmåga att delta i aktiviteter ansåg sig de flesta ha en god livskvalitet. För sjuksköterskan är det viktigt att inge hopp, ge stöd och stärka patienternas hanteringsförmåga.

Purpose: Our purpose is to achieve a higher understanding of which factors University of Uppsala is using to attract and keep their existing workers.Theory: We have worked with Barrow & Mosley's the employer brand mix, this modelexplains 12 important factors that exists within the employer branding process. External reputation, internal communication, the board, values and corporate social responsibility, internalmeasuring systems, service support, work environment, rewards and acknowledgements, learningand development, performance estimation, team management and recruitment and introduction.Method: To achieve an understanding of our subject we have chosen to work with a qualitativemethod. This type of method is more considerate of the interviewed person?s way of seeingthings and also accounts for how the person answers. To answer our problem statement we haveconducted a case study on University of Uppsala where we used semi structured interviewsbecause we wanted to limit the risk of leading questions.Empirical findings: University of Uppsala were used as material for our empirical discussionContext: The main reasons that workers is attracted to and are staying at the university dependson the external status they achieve when working there, this combined with that the workers getsto be a part of the university's brand.

Uppsatsen består av nio flickors berättelser om hur det är att vara flicka idag. Flickorna ingår i ett pågående transnationellt EU-projekt om flickors särskilda utsatthet på grund av särskolediagnos. Fyra av flickorna har etniskt svenskt ursprung och fem av flickorna har annat etniskt ursprung. Flickorna är mellan 18-20 år gamla och det som flickorna har gemensamt är att de är intellektuellt funktionshindrade.Frågor som besvaras i studien är dels vad flickorna anser att det innebär att vara en normal flicka när det gäller kropp, själ, sexualitet och sätt att vara på. Dels hur flickorna konstruerar femininitet och normalitet i relation till kön, etnicitet, utsatthet och intellektuellt funktionshinder.

Resandet idag har tagit nya former. Människor reser idag under kortare och fler perioder än vad de gjorde förr, vilket har medfört att planeringen innan, till och under resan blivit kortare. Turisten idag får vidare förlita sig på diverse tekniska hjälpmedel såsom Internet och GPS för att snabbt få information om resmål och destinationer. I och med de kortare planeringstiderna samt de kortare reseperioderna har turister inte längre alltid möjlighet att planera in guidade turer med en mänsklig guide. Till turistens undsättning i problemet finns idag förinspelade ljudguider som exempelvis kan användas genom att ringa upp ett specifikt nummer på en mobiltelefon.

The paper's purpose has evolved during the process of researching and writing it. In the beginning it was to investigate if art and culture could increase the strength and knowledge of a brand and if there existed a knowledge about this amongst Swedish companies, situated in Stockholm. During the process the purpose has evolved into exploring the type of companies that acknowledge this and those that don't. By using Bourdieu's terminology and tools, the reasons behind the use of art has been analyzed.The paper employs an explorative approach by accessing data through interviews and public data provided by the Internet through web pages and government files.The paper comes to the conclusion that what Holt calls cultural branding has not evolved, when looking at the companies that are accurate for this study. Out of 24 companies only one comes close to observing socio cultural movements through the arts.
