This thesis has two purposes: (1) to analyze the emptiness in Blodbok by Christine Falkenland, and (2) to analyze my own reading of the same book. I have chosen to focus on how emptiness is expressed through the body, the language and the place in Blodbok, because of the deep impact these seem to have on the emptiness. The thesis discusses what kind of emptiness that is described, what it does to me as a reader, and how it is connected to other works by Falkenland. In the early 1990?s more and more companies of the Swedish public sector were exposed to competition, and this started the debate on how such actions might affect the business and even society.The first chapter examines how the public sector and especially health care, is financed and managed. We also explore what it means to be exposed to competition and find that there are many different ways of exposing the public sector to competition. The study examines dental care as an example of a market with both publicly and privately owned companies. The purpose of this paper is to explore how publicly and privately owned health care companies view their relationship with their consumers.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om chefer och vad som motiverat dem till att bli chefer. Våra utgångspunkter i denna uppsats har varit begreppen motivation och karriär. Vi har utfört en kvalitativ undersökning där vi intervjuat åtta personer i olika typer av chefspositioner. Studien är i sin helhet gjord bland chefer på ett och samma företag inom näringslivet.Uppsatsen inleds med att vi klargör för begreppen karriär och motivation samt presenterar studiens syfte och frågeställning för att på så vis skapa större förståelse för kärnan i vår uppsats.I teoriavsnittet tar vi upp och beskriver skilda teorier som vi i vårt arbete använt oss av. Background: A health damage that has been specifically related to nursing is pressure ulcers. Pressure ulcers are a complication caused by disease, care and treatment and can result in great suffering for the patient. Pressure ulcers can affect people both physically and psychosocially and is experienced, by most patients, as a serious and unnecessary complication of care. Today there are hundreds of identified risk factors for pressure ulcers described that can be divided into patient and care-related risk factors. A successful pressure ulcer prevention and treatment is to reduce or eliminate the underlying causes for the development of pressure ulcers, prevent deterioration and to treat existing ulcers.

Inledning Wallenbergare var från början en elegant restaurangmaträtt bestående av en panerad kalvfärsbiff serverad med potatispuré, ärtor, lingon och skirat smör. Rätten torde vara uppkallad efter häradshövdingen Marcus Wallenberg någon gång under 1930- talet. Det finns många historier om Wallenbergarens uppkomst men ingen tycks veta med säkerhet vem som serverade den för alldra första gången.Syfte Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur val av styckningsdetalj, kryddning, temperatur och mixning påverkar den sensoriska kvaliteten i en Wallenbergare.Metod/material De tre metoder som användes under denna studie var en provmatlagning med en större mängd av variabler, en enkätundersökning gällande tidigare erfarenheter och uppfattningar om Wallenbergare samt en sensorisk bedömning av biffens sensoriska kvalitet.Resultat För att Wallenbergaren ska uppnå en konsistens av hög sensorisk kvalitet bör denna bestå av 75 % malt kalvinnanlår, 25 % kalvbräss, äggula, grädde och salt. En Wallenbergare bör endast smaksättas med salt och nymald vitpeppar.Provernas samtliga ingredienser skall vara väl kylda för att uppnå högsta sensoriska kvalitet. De prover som blandades med handkraft erhöll en lägre sensorisk kvalitet än de prover som blandades mekaniskt.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om unga människor som på ett eller annat vis har att göra med två kulturer, det vill säga härstammar från ett land men har växt upp i Sverige och där mitt syfte med denna studie har varit att belysa hur bl a religiös moralism kontra västerländsk liberalism kan ge upphov till emotionella konflikter hos ungdomar som lever med dubbla kulturer. Syftet har också varit en strävan att möjliggöra ökade kunskaper och förståelse för dessa unga mäniskor. Den fråga som jag med denna studie har avsett att svara på är vilken betydelse religiös moral har hos föräldragenerationen för de sociala relationer som deras barn utvecklar i det nya hemlandet under ungdomsåren.Levnadsberättelserna speglar deras vardagsliv där läsaren inbjuds till att ta del av det allra mest privata såsom känslor, syn på moral, sociala relationer och framtidstankar. Jag har använt mig utav Dorothy Smith?s institutionella etnografi som en vetenskaplig ansats.

När kraven blir högre använder sig företagen av olika strategier, att nischa sig är ett alternativ för att uppfylla kundernas krav. Det finns många aktörer på livsmedelsmarknaden men de med störst marknadsandelar är ICA, Coop och Axfood. ICA har stora andelar på området egna märkesvaror (EMV) och deras EMV-sortiment är uppdelat i sex olika EMV-kategorier. ICA är som tidigare nämns ett av de ledande företagen inom egna märkesvaror. Deras EMV är ett viktigt verktyg då detta medför att de kan erbjuda ett bredare sortiment till kunden.

There was a silence surrounding homosexuality in the People's Republic of Poland. One can almost get the impression that same sex love, and same sex relationships, did not even exist there; that the communists had successfully removed homosexuality from society. The roots of this silence can be found in the Communist Party´s disdain for anything deemed individualist and deviant, and also in the conservatism and religiosity of the Polish society.In my thesis I study when and how gays and lesbians found a way out of the silence that surrounded their sexuality. Gay men did so by creating subcultures, which found refuge in parks, public bathrooms and a few bars in larger Polish cities, and offered a sense of belonging for them. Lesbians, on the other hand, lacked this access to semi-public spheres, which made it even harder for them to find each other and create a space for their sexuality.

En uppsats om den profilerade högstadieskolans kommunikation med blivande elever och deras föräldrar.)Author: Erika CassmanAim: My hypothesis is that parental influence is higher when the students are going to a detached school than when the students are going to a school with a profiled program because in the profiled program they are going to study a course that they love and is chosen by themselves. Jag vill i den här uppsatsen beskriva hur sexualitet och genus konstrueras, befästs och utmanas i Margareta av Navarras verk Heptameron. Jag utgår från Judith Butlers och Thomas Laqueurs queerteoretiska perspektiv och visar hur de olika maktdiskurserna kristendom, aristokrati, patriarkalism och nyplatonism påverkar och påtvingar olika konstruktioner av sexualitet och genus, och kan konstatera att alla dessa diskurser bygger på en normerande och normaliserad heterosexualitet som ständigt för tillbaka avvikelserna från denna norm, hos såväl devisanterna som i de två noveller jag studerat, till en binär könskategorisering. Huvudfokus ligger på tvetydigheten hos begrepp som man, kvinna, och fullkomlig kärlek. Jag menar att just avsaknaden av slutgiltiga definitioner av sådana begrepp i verket visar på att det inte går att finna något essentiellt ursprung eller någon slutgiltig definition av dem. Det är just därför den heterosexuella normen måste iscensättas gång på gång.Jag menar dock att man kan konstatera att det finns en skillnad i fråga om de bakomliggande diskursernas gestaltning i ramberättelse där de slås fast och i novellerna där de problematiseras, vilket också påpekats av Bernard.

The landscape can be something that you rest your eyes on, something that goes quickly past outside the windscreen or the place for the daily work. To me, landscape is everything around us ? the city, the field and the forest. But what is landscape for you? What does the idea of the landscape stand for? How does our view of the landscape become influenced of the place where we grow up? And the differences between peoples different views of the landscape ? what does they depend on? My point of the view for this paper is that the landscape ideals mostly depend on the landscape where you grow up and that it depends less on the differences between the individuals. As a landscape architect the idea of the landscape is the essential. The more we learn, the more we realize how complex it is, but deep down we always have our own experiences and memories and that shapes our personalities.
