With Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 8, a new type of applications were introduced, Windows Store Apps. These applications must meet certain requirements in order to be uploaded to Windows own store for apps. There are also guidelines to follow. The requirements and guidelines include appearance and functionality, such as a common search function in the applications to contribute to a more unified experience. How does these requirements and guidelines influence developers? Whether the development of the Windows Store Apps gets more difficult, or perhaps even simpler, is studied and evaluated in this report.

Ipendo Systems AB är ett företag som tillhandahåller en webbaserad tjänst, Ipendo Platform, för administration av immateriella rättigheter. De lagar och regler som reglerar hur immateriella rättigheterna hanteras skiljer sig från varje land och tjänsten måste då innehålla information om alla dessa. Dessa lagar eller regler, hädanefter regler, hålls uppdaterade utanför tjänsten i ett Exceldokument, därefter importeras de till Ipendo Platform manuellt. Innan det görs måste de valideras enligt förutbestämda restriktioner, detta för att de dels ska vara i rätt format för Ipendo Platform eller någonting annat som måste vara i rätt format.Syftet och motivationen till detta examensarbete är att man vill ersätta denna process med ett enklare webbaserat adminstrationsverktyg som låter back-office hantera och uppdatera reglerna och sedan själva utföra validering och importering. Detta gör att tid sparas och de personer som jobbar med att uppdatera regler får feedback direkt från valideringen istället för att man ska vänta på att en annan avdelning gör valideringen.

Jag har skrivit om inspelning av sång i studiomiljö ifrån mitt perspektiv som sångerska och även genom en intervju med en producent som ofta spelar in sång.Syftet med arbetet var att jag och andra sångare ska få en inblick i hur det kan kännas att arbeta med sånginspelning, hur man kan undvika nervositet och nå ett så bra sångresultat som möjligt. Jag har beskrivit min egen upplevelse när jag under en månad sjöng på en skivinspelning och reflekterat över de problem som uppstod. Alla låtar är skrivna och producerade av mig och mina medmusiker i Distant Crown. I resultatet tar jag upp hur det gick efter de förutsättningar vi hade med skivinspelningen och hur viktigt det är att våga..

This project consists of an adaptation, trial and evaluation of a model for practicing. Based on prior research I created a model aiming mainly to raise a musician?s self- awareness around the different parameters a performance consists of. An additional wish was for it to simultaneously assist the musician in monitoring his or her progress. With video recording and self-evaluation as the two main parts I tried the model by using it over a period of three months.

There are no reliable, objective and simple methods today for measuring pain in horses. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and describe measuring of mechanical nociceptive threshold (MNT) values with a pressure algometer in clinically pain free riding horses at the riding school of Strömsholm. In this study there were 24 horses. Tape recording and electromyelografi (EMG) was used in an attempt to increase objectivity in the examination. MNT increased with age, however sex and colour had no influence.

The goal with this project, was to explore the producing of a musicvideo with a synergistic focus in a practical way. Beside the practical work with the recording and editing of music and video, I wanted to explore the sound engineers role in such a project? To my help I had the video producer Hannes Knutsson from the small film- collective Lefvande Bilder and the singer, guitarist and songwriter Conny Flink. Möjligheterna för kommunikation inom en organisation bidrar till större och bättre informationsflöde inom organisationen samt leder till effektivare arbete inom organisationen. Microsoft Sharepoint 2013 är alltså ett intranät som blir ett centrum att vistas på samt där man träffar sina kollegor för att dela information och mycket mer.Detta examensarbete utgår från Microsofts välkända intranät Sharepoint 2013. Målet med examensarbetet har varit att skapa ett ärendehanteringssystem utifrån företaget Precio Systemutveckling AB:s beställning samt kravspecifikation . Utvecklingen har baserats på ?The great new app model? som under början på detta år (2013) introducerades utav Microsoft i den senaste versionen av Sharepoint: Sharepoint 2013.

Denna rapport behandlar utvecklingen av en webbaserad e-handelslösning där nya tekniker för utveckling tillämpas. Olika tekniker för att skapa ett rikare och mer interaktivt gränssnitt beskrivs.Hur utvecklar man en e-handelssida med dagens moderna tekniker?Vilka tekniker fungerar bäst? Det är frågor som dessa som ligger till grund för detta examensarbete. Vi fick i uppdrag av företaget Mil Tech i Västerås att utveckla en e-handelssida med kortbetalning och tillhörande administrationsgränssnitt.Syftet med detta examensarbete var dels att ta reda på hur man utvecklar en ehandelssida med dagens moderna tekniker, vilka tekniker som är mest lämpliga för ändamålet samt att utveckla sidan efter kundens krav och önskemål. Vi har utvecklat en applikation där kunden själv kan hantera produkter och uppdatera sidans information och utseende.

Idag äger Skanska ett antal tomter i området Silverdal, Stockholm, som ska bebyggas med kontor och bostadshus. Bostadshusen och kontorsbyggnaderna ska sedan säljas. Skanska vill därför göra en visualisering av området och använda som underlag vid försäljningen. Examensarbetets syfte är att ta fram en förenklad terrängmodell över Silverdal med hjälp avprogrammet Autodesk 3D studio max 9. Byggnaderna visualiseras genom gråa fyrkanter för att man ska få en bild av hur byggnaderna kommer att ligga i miljöerna.Allt som allt så anser jag att projektet gått bra efter att beslutet tagits att endast några fasta vinklar skulle färdigställas..

We where asked to write a webapplication, with similar functionalityas an existing desktop application. The application can todayrecord sounds from a person, mix it together at the optimal place withanother, similar sound and play back the result.The application used mathematical calculation that the developerswhere not familiar with, therefore it was decided to focus on the partsthat involved recording and playing sound, to pave the way for anyfuture implementation.The follwing prototypes where implemneted:1. In order to answer the purpose of the essay a study on ICA Maxi were conducted on 20 students from the University of Karlstad, ten women and ten men.

This study was conducted at VikingGenetics' bull breeding station in Falkenberg, Sweden. The bulls waiting for the results of their progeny testing at this station are either kept in group housing or individual housing. Since both of these housing systems have advantages and disadvantages, it was in the interest of VikingGenetics to know which of these housing systems is the best. The aim of this study was to investigate the welfare of the bulls in these two housing systems through behavioural observations and the use of activity monitors. In the preparations for the study 16 bulls, 8 in each housing system, were chosen.
