This thesis describes redesign and adaption of a products housing. In order to make it more economical to produce at a lower production volume. The thesis is based upon a prototype that a previous Student developed for injection moulding. The goal is to find alternative manufacturing methods, but also to identify parameters that affect the cost of the injection moulding tool.The housing must be tough in order to protect the circuit board inside. But at the same time it must allow sound, light an electrical communication to pass through.

The aim of this work is to examine how a number of class teachers reason about and find their work while teaching Students who have reading and writing difficulties / dyslexia. The empirical study was intended to answer the question based on three questions.The work is based on a qualitative method as empirical material gathered in semi-structured interviews. Six classroom teachers, one male and five female teachers were interviewed. The interviewees were from six different schools in Stockholm Municipality and were between 27-61 years old.Most of the classroom teachers feel that there are approximately 4-5 Students with reading and writing difficulties / dyslexia in each class. Half of the teachers feel that Students with dyslexia may be different as they are quiet, unsecure and shy.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the primary motivation for studying abroad among Students at Södertörn University, and also examine how the time studying abroad will affect the Students on a personal level. The essay is based on a qualitative approach of ten interviews with Students who have already completed an exchange program. With the help of the theoretical concepts of push and pull factors, motivation categories, human capital and previous research, the results and analysis showed a coherent pattern. It turns out that the majorities of Students are primarily motivated by the opportunity to enjoy a nice nature, new environment and get to know new people. The time studying abroad mostly contributed to the Student?s personal development and also gave an understanding of other people and different cultures.

Syftet med denna C-uppsats var att undersöka hur skolpersonalen upplever det stöd som finns tillgängligt för eleverna på skolan. Studien genomfördes på en skola i Västsverige där tillvägagångssättet i studien var intervjuer med sex personer ur skolpersonalen. Deltagarna i undersökningen var sex personer med olika arbetsuppgifter på skolan där professionerna: skolsköterska, skolkurator och lärare innefattades. Metoden som användes var kvalitativ metod. Det finns väldigt få forskningsrapporter som belyser frågeställningar om elevhälsans tillgänglighet sett ur ett personalrelaterat perspektiv inom den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden.

My objective for this project was to create a short but thrilling 2D-animation intended as promotion for an online comic book. The purpose of the project was to learn more about animation and graphics, to further my artistic skills and to learn how to work in Adobe After Effects. I also wanted to learn more about scheduling, project methods and how to handle stress. During the ten weeks of the project I have created the story, the storyboard, the character design, the backgrounds and the animation. The voice over was recorded with the help of a fellow Student who also made the music and the sound effects.

This study has emerged from a growing interest in Students' sleeping habits. During practical training as teachers, we have noticed a discussion of Students' sleeping habits, fatigue and Student performance at school in relation to their sleeping habits. The purpose of this field survey was to examine Students? sleeping habits and self-perceived performance ability in school in relation to sleeping habits. The material was collected from a questionnaire that was answered by 200 Students in 4-6th grade and 188 Students in 1-2th grade in the upper secondary school, this to give an opportunity to see if there were any differences between the different age groups.

Pupil achievement and behaviour in schools was earlier seen as given by socioeconomic and biological factors. But since the late 1970s the school effectiveness research has come to give school factors a much greater role for pupils? attainments. Research has shown that schools´ pedagogical and social climate, which is to be seen as a complex product of deeply felt values and norms held by school principals and teachers and developed through practical actions, can explain variations in effectiveness between schools. Effectiveness is here to be seen as a higher mean cognitive and non cognitive Student outcome than is expected with regard to initial attainment or family background.

According to the curriculum Sweden?s elementary school is to educate Students in subjects such as "Listening, debating and argumentation". I ask myself if this is actually something that every Student is being provided with. The purpose of this study is to gain additional information about children?s participation in the classroom.

The question how teaching should be organized in order to give the Students the help and support they need to reach their goals is always of vital interest. All Students are unique individuals with different prerequisities, possibilities and needs. Streaming in mathematics could be one solution.The first week at upper secondary school a diagnostic test is carried through. Thereafter, the result is used as a basis for dividing the classes into different teaching groups. Thus, the groups working with mathematics become more homogeneous and the Students? previous knowledge is approximately at the same level.

The aim of this study was to examine the possibilities to enter the regular labour market for pupils and young adults with intellectual disabilities. The method used is tape-recorded qualitative interviews with; Two pupils with intellectual disabilities, studying the last year at a special school. Two young adults with intellectual disabilities, former pupils at a special school and at the moment in search of work at a Public Employment Service office for young adults with disabilities. Furthermore were interviews made with two professionals, one Student counsellor at a special school and one representative at a Public Employment Service office for young adults with disabilities. For analysing the empirical data, Iris Marion Young's theory about Five Faces of Oppression, Crip theory and Dalrymple and Burkes theory about empowerment was used.

This thesis deals with the information needs and information provision of teachers in compulsory school, from a role theoretical perspective. The object is to investigate teachers opinions on their information needs and information provision. The following questions have been used to approach the problem: Which are the information needs of teachers in compulsory school? How do teachers get the information they need? Which difficulties and deficiencies do teachers experience in their information provision, and what does the ideal situation look like? The theoretical frame of reference consists of a model of the information seeking of professionals, which is based on role theory. Qualitative interviews have been carried out with nine teachers.

Swedish school children's results have deteriorated in recent years and formative assessment is, in accordance with previous research, a way to develop Students' learning and performance. A part of formative assessment is based on feedback that Students should receive before, during and after a new assignment. In this study, we want to find out how Students and teachers apprehend Students' development in relation to feedback and what general attitudes towards feedback can be seen in both parties. The literature and theory discussed is linked to formative assessment, both at international and national level where many important aspects of formative assessment are essential in relation to pupils' further development. The theories are based heavily on human interaction and socio-cultural perspective as a concept.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att studera hur matchning av Studenter som jobbar extra som konsulter går till. Detta jämfördes med hur bemanningsbranschen matchar sina ordinarie konsulter och hur rekrytering går till i vanliga företag. Det visade sig att det inte gjorts så mycket forskning om matchning riktad mot just Studenter och om hur matchning går till. Detta gjorde att teorin var tvungen att byggas upp innan studien kunde påbörjas. När detta var gjort studerades hur ett utvalt bemanningsföretag gjorde i praktiken, genom att studera deras dokument, intervjua jobbmäklare samt förevisning av hur de arbetar.
