It is important that the language in textbooks for foreign language learners reflects the language that the learners would encounter in real life. For this reason, the presence of the thousand most common nouns in two Swedish textbooks in Spanish for upper secondary school is observed in this study. Furthermore, this study aims to examine how these nouns occur in order to determine if their pattern of occurence favours the learning and consolidation of words. The main materials that have been used are A Frequency Dictionary of Spanish by Davies (2006) and the word search program available in the digital versions of the textbooks. The results show that the presence of the thousand most common Spanish nouns does reflect the frequency information presented in the frequency dictionary but not all thousand nouns are included.

This essay discuss if Bronze Age cult houses were present at Gotland during the Bronze Age. Bronze Age cult houses are a well know phenomenon on mainland Sweden but because of inventory problems no Bronze Age cult houses have been found on Gotland. The main reason for the inventory problems are the Iron Age house foundations that are present in a large number on Gotland, the cult houses and the Iron Age houses have some design details that makes them difficult to separate from each other. In this essay a number of criteria are presented to help separate cult houses from the Iron Age house foundations. Ella Mathematics is a web portal that will completely replace the printed math text book in the Swedish elementary school. When the math education is moved in to the digital world the flexibility and adaptability will increase.In 2011 the Swedish government revised the Swedish school system, which contained a whole new curriculum for the elementary school math education. This has been the foundation for the development of Ella Mathematics and the design of the three different users; Student, teacher and parent. The development has been done with Dynamic Product Development methods from the project start in September 2011 until the final exam in May 2012.Ella Mathematics has been developed with the pupil?s math knowledge in focus.

Föreliggande studies syfte var att undersöka vad Studenter på civilingenjörsprogrammet med inriktning mot teknisk fysik och elektroteknik beskriver är deras motivation till att genomföra sina studier och om denna förändras över tid. Frågeställningarna som legat till grund för studien är: Vad beskriver Studenterna påverkar deras motivation? Vad består motivationen av? Förändras Studenternas motivation över tid, om ja på vilket sätt? Gör Studenterna själva något för att påverka sin motivation, och i så fall vad? Studien är longitudinell och bygger sammanlagt på 32 intervjuer med åtta Studenter som har intervjuats kontinuerligt under 3-4 år. Metoden som använts kan beskrivas som en induktiv empirinära kvalitativ metod då innehållet i data fått styra arbetsprocessen. Resultatet visar att Studenternas motivation utgörs av tre byggstenar som alla har betydelse för motivationen på lång sikt - upplevelser av: meningsfullhet/tillämpbarhet, kompetens/behärskande och socialt sammanhang/socialt stöd.

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

Denna studie handlar om barns inflytande och delaktighet och på vilket sätt lärare låter barn vara delaktiga i förskola och skola. Syftet med studien är att problematisera och visa på hur verksamma lärare i förskolan och grundskolan arbetar för att barn ska bli delaktiga och ha inflytande över sin egen vardag och om barn tillåts bestämma. Studien bygger på intervjuer med fem förskollärare och fyra grundskollärare.Resultatet visar att barn inflytande och delaktighet skiljer sig åt mellan förskolan och grundskolan och att innebörden av inflytande och delaktighet skiljer sig åt i verksamheterna. Våra intervjusvar pekar på att förskollärarna lägger fokus på barns idéer och initiativ och att barnen är delaktiga i de lärandeprocesser som sker i förskolan. Dock visar vår undersökning att pedagogerna har det yttersta ansvaret i att ta vara på dessa idéer och initiativ och utifrån dessa forma verksamheten.

This degree project has been performed with Mega Teknik AB in Landskrona. The project has resulted in a workplace for the cable installers of Mega Teknik. The workplace contains a workbench and a cart.The first stage in this project was to make an analysis of the current workplace to identify the needs the installers had.The different principle construction proposals of how the workbench would look like and which functions it would have was made during brainstorming, in groups and alone. These proposals were compared against each other using a functional analysis that has been put up to get the principle construction that fulfilled most points in this analysis.The proposal chose for further work was a cart and a bench with a module intends, the table got a formulation that creates a better reach for the installers.This proposal was generated in Catia V5 to get a better overview of the suggested proposal.During the primary structure phase drawings over all the products were made and the components were chosen. Calculations were made and the product got the dimension required.

Previous research indicates that the academic journal in many cases is the most valuable and important source of information in scientific work. The aim of this study is to investigate Students usage of academic journals in comparison to their usage of other document types, as illustrated by the citations given in LIS Students master theses 1999-2001. By comparing the Students use of LIS journals with the use of LIS journals by international scholars we also wish to examine whether Students and scholars use the same journals in their work. ?Burberry - En studie om byggandet och profileringen av ett varumärke utifrån visuell metodologi? är skriven av Charlotte Wennström, Student på institutionen för journalistik, medie- och kommunikationsvetenskap på Stockholms universitet.I denna uppsats analyseras den visuella framställningen av ett varumärke i reklamannonser sända av Burberry under hösten 2009 respektive våren 2010. Uppsatsen undersöker huruvida stereotypa framställningar av varumärket speglas i bildmaterialet utifrån semiotisk analys, vad det avser att förmedla och till vilken målgrupp. Arbetet genomförs med hjälp av bildanalys som är en kvalitativ metod. Abstract This examination work is about the role of physical activity for Students with concentration difficulties. The purpose of this work is to describe educators experiences of how Students with concentration difficulties are affected by physical and motor activity during school-time in primary school. In the work I assume from my questions that are: How do educators experience Students with concentrations difficulties? Do educators think physical and motor training during school-time matter for the Students learning processes? How? Do Students with concentration difficulties have other possibilities than other Students regarding physical and motor activity during school-time? I am using a qualitative interview method for answering my questions. The interviews are conducted in collaboration with three educators in a medium-sized Swedish F-6 school.

This essay is a case study based on two sources of empirical data, qualitative interviews and responses from a questionnaire, which examines upper secondary school Students? attitudes to history teaching in a museum context. The Students? answers are further analyzed in relation to the concept of historical consciousness. Thus, history teaching in the museum, from a Student perspective, and the Students? capacity of expressing a historical consciousness in their answers, constitute the core of this essay.

The Swedish school in today?s society is multicultural. One of the main questions is how to integratethese Students in the Swedish society. The purpose with the study is to explore how schoolcounsellors? work to promote the integration of multicultural Students and what factors can influencethe integration of these Students.

 Purpose/Aim: The goal of this thesis is to examine access and knowledge computers and the Internet among the senior-year Students of Anacostia High School. Do the Students of this facility have the same opportunity as the residents from better socioeconomical backgrounds or are they being excluded from the technology? Material/Method: To approach the thesis goal I have used a quantitative method. More specifically, a questionnaire was handed out to the senior year Students at Anacostia High School. Main results: The study has shown that most of the Students of Anacostia had in some way access to computers and Internet.
