This paper is based upon a questionnaire and interviews with Swedish secondary school teachers (Student of ages from 16 to 18). The purpose of the paper was to get a picture of teacher?s attitudes to astronomy in the physics courses and how this affects their teaching. The questionnaire showed that astronomy is the least prioritized field in physics in secondary school. Teachers seem to generally consider astronomy as the least important field and they spend little time teaching it, many teachers even exclude astronomy completely from their classes.

Bakgrund: Revisorns arbetsmetoder har utvecklats och förändrats i och med förändringar i omvärlden. Undersökningar som gjorts i USA visar att redovisningsutbildningen inte förbereder Studenterna för dagens revisorsarbete, och att antalet redovisningsstuderande har minskat under senare år. Ett annat problem som uppmärksammats i USA är att många redovisningspraktiker slutat arbeta med redovisning och revision. Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka hur ekonomistuderande, kvalificerade revisorer och redovisningsassistenter uppfattar redovisningsämnet på universitetsnivå och dagens revisorsyrke. Genomförandet: En enkätundersökning riktad till revisorer och intervjuer med två av dessa, samt en enkät riktad till Studenter vid Linköpings universitet.

The study is about Physical Education as a subject that offers Students in Upper Secondary School a possibility to a life long interest in exercising. The study focuses on whether there is a difference between study concentrate programmes and profession concentrate programmes. The study also includes differences among exercising and non-exercising Students. Earlier research shows that many youths don?t have an exercise form that they spend their spare time in.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka och jämföra hur klassrumsundervisning bedrivs i två svenska och två finska skolor för att finna möjliga förklaringar till PISA-undersökningens resultat (Programme for International Student Assessment). Syftet besvaras med hjälp av följande frågeställning: Hur och till vad utnyttjas lektionstiden till? Hur upplevs det allmänna klassrumsklimatet? Hur ser ledarskapet i klassrummet ut?MetodDe metoder som använts i studien är löpande och på förhand kategoriserade observationer och kvalitativa intervjuer. Totalt har 24 klassrumsobservationer, tio lärarintervjuer och två intervjuer med rektorer genomförts vid två högstadieskolor i Storstockholm och vid två högstadieskolor i Helsingfors. Det som observerades var; lektionsinnehållet och tiden lagd på olika moment, elevernas självständighet, det disciplinära klimatet och relationen mellan lärare och elev samt klassrumsklimatet.

The objective of this study was to bring further knowledge to the subject as to what influences Students motivation and self-esteem. The study had focus on role that the teachers play in these aspects. The study was done by using both a qualitative and quantitative approach. The qualitative method was interviews based on six interviews with two teachers and four Students from two different classes. The quantitative method was a questionnaire study that was done in both classes.

In this work I have examined how two violin Students, who are used to the classical music tradition, think when they learn to play Swedish folk music, with focus on rhythm and beating the time with their feet. One of the Students is studying on her first year to be a classical violin teacher and the other Student is studying on her third year to be a classical musician, both are studying at Malmö Academy of Music. I had three lessons, one hour each, with these two Students where I taught them some basics in how to play Swedish folk music. After the last lesson I interviewed the two Students. I have done interviews with two teachers at Malmö Academy of Music; Wieslawa Szymczynska and Mats Edén.

Algebra in school, - a study on Students` algebraic knowledge of the field equations in ninth grade.International (TIMSS) and national mathematics studies detects that Swedish pupils math skills is deteriorating in comparison to other countries. Therefore has the subject of mathematics become one of the school subjects which are becoming increasingly in focus. The government has made a big effort, Matematiklyftet, in mathematics in primary education, 650 million has been invested and the Agency has been tasked to train all current mathematics teachers through peer collegial learning. This effort is the most pervasive in modern times in Sweden.The aim of this study is that we as prospective mathematics teachers want to find our approach to surveys results. By using the Governments? diagnoses, Diamant, Student group interviews, teacher interviews and theories in mathematics education, we want to make Students' algebraic knowledge of the field equations visible.

SyfteEtt av syftena med beskriven studie är att undersöka om och hur läsförmågan på en skola sjunkit. Ett annat syfte är att undersöka vad detta fått och har haft för pedagogiska konsekvenser. Uppsatsen fokuserar på de pedagogiska konsekvenserna. TeoriUppsatsens undersökning utgår ifrån det sociokulturella perspektivet, och tar stöd av Säljös och Vygotskijs teorier om lärande, det vill säga lärande i det inlärningsklimat elever skapar tillsammans i klassrummet. Om elevers läsförmåga förändras, förändras också den sociala miljö som karaktäriserar inlärningsklimatet.

That parents should be a part in their children?s education is something that we educationalist wish for the future. Research show that if you have a good relation between parents and school, it can help a Student's educational process. In this study I have concentrated on the Swedish minority group Roma. The study is qualitative and based on interviews with Roma.

Detta examensarbete omfattar 15 hp och utfördes av Jelena Todorovic, Student på Malmö Högskola, Produktdesignprogrammet. Syftet med arbetet var att utveckla en sportbag för personer som bor i närheten av ett gym och som efter träningen duschar hemma. Projektets bas var Användarcentrerad design, som innebär att utvecklingen av konceptet sker efter användarens behov, önskemål och preferenser. Användaren inkluderades i projektet i allt från skisser, intervjuer, observationer, utvärderingar och urval av koncept till slutkonceptet. Studenten såg ett behov av en annan väska än den traditionella sportbagen. Projektets förstudie resulterade i att Studenten sammanställde en kravlista på målgruppens önskemål och behov. En sportbag där funktionaliteten var viktigast kom att bli projektets fokus.

This essay talks about how teachers in schools are working with a particular focus on Students with autistic syndrome. The aim is to investigate the methods used for these Students, who develop their learning and achieve the goals of the school. The methods that were used in this study were two interviews in two different schools in central Sweden where teachers and professionals were interviewed. One part of the study was to compare both schools to see which methods they used and when they used them. My interest for autistic Students started during my practice in a school.

The present study sought to examine the collaborative role of the Student organization Here 4 U and the impact of this collaboration on the organization and its partners. As a point of departure a questionnaire was distributed to supervisors, principals and other cooperation partners of Here 4 U, the most prominent quantitative results of which were related to previous research, new institutional theory and empowerment theory. It turned out that partners interacting with Here 4 U felt that the collaboration was necessary and wanted to continue with it. The respondents to the questionnaire were asked to define the concept of collaboration. Factors emphasized by respondents included feeling of community, security, and common goals.

Studien var en kvantitativ undersökning om hur socionomStudenter vid Socialhögskolan påverkas av att det finns Studenter som förvärvsarbetar samtidigt med studierna. Syftet med denna uppsats var att försöka öka kunskapen och förståelsen för om och i så fall hur förvärvsarbete kan vara ett hinder eller en möjlighet för att genomföra studierna på socionomprogrammet. Problemställningen var: Hur påverkas socionomStudenterna vid Socialhögskolan av att Studenter arbetar samtidigt som de studerar? För att besvara frågeställningen gjordes en enkätundersökning av Studenterna vid allmänna socionomlinjen som går termin fem. Enkäten besvarades av sextio Studenter.

The aim with this study is to explore if and how linguistic learning takes places when four pairs ofStudents in grade one writes on the computer. Observations of eight Students took place duringtwelve lessons to investigate what happened during their writing processes. This study isimportant because Students? computer writing is a relatively new phenomenon in the Swedishprimary school.It is clear that the peer collaboration creates a complex interaction that becomes the platform, andalso the prerequisite, for successful language training. The method can clearly give Students profitsin their linguistic development.
