Skogsentreprenör 2007 : en kvantitativ studie av organiserade skogsentreprenörer i Sverige
SMF Skogsentreprenörerna is a nationwide organisation for Swedish forestry contractors. It has about 750 organised companies with somewhere around 1500 logging machines. These machines perform well over 50% of all yearly landed wood in Sweden. The members of SMF also performs more and more of other functions in Swedish professional forestry, such as soil scarification, planting and pre-commercial thinning of younger stands.
In order to determine what major priorities SMF should focus on in the future a member survey was initialised and carried out by SMF together with Daniel Larsson-Snygg, Student at the swedish university of agricultural sciences SLU.
This report presents the result of this survey sent out to all members of SMF. It is intended to answer a number of questions about their entrepreneurship such as:
What different kinds of work do these companies perform? How many machines and employees do they have? How old are the company owners and their employees? What are their thoughts about the future of their business? How well does SMF serve their members needs?.

The design process of an interaction design Student is mostly collaborative and computer oriented. Based on this, it?s hard to believe that we have not yet found a tool that will facilitate our needs. With this in mind, which elements do we need to promote collaboration in a virtual design process?
This thesis will include design processes, collaboration, creativity and virtual awareness, amongst others.

This case study examines how upper secondary schools in a municipality in the northern parts of Sweden structure their special pedagogy with Students who have ADHD and dyslexia, Students? and parents? experiences of this, and what regulates the schools management in this particular aspect. The results show that all the schools have special pedagogues and other support staff employed, though in varied extent. Furthermore, the resources are distributed differently from school to school. The focus, however, is always around communication between the concerned parties.

Many studies have pointed out that generosity depends on different things like gender, age and nationality. We wanted to see if predetermined factors like genetics also had an effect on the intention of generosity. There is a ratio between the index finger (2D) and ring finger (4D) that is determined by the levels of testosterone in the amniotic fluid and that have had some significant effect on personality attributes like musical and leadership skills. We wanted to see if that ratio had any effect on the intention of generosity. We experimentally examined a group of priest Student and two groups of young handball players and let the groups answer a survey that included a sort of dictator game and we photo copied their hands to get their 2D:4D-ratio.
Kvinnliga studenters alkoholvanor : På Linnéuniversitetet i Kalmar
As the title reveals this is a study of female college Students alcohol habits in Kalmar,Sweden. During the spring of 2012 a total of 118 female Students at Linnaeus universityanswered a survey about their alcohol habits. The survey reveled that as many as 67%percent of the answering female Students (according to Audit) have risky drinking habits.The drinking habits are explained using Albert Banduras social learning theory in contextto the Scandinavian drinking pattern. The study concludes that female alcohol habits needeven further research. Furthermore the study shows that Student initiation have an impacton the female drinking habits and that expectations of that Students drink are to some extentimportant to the development of hazardous drinking habits..
Sms-och chattspråkets inverkan på svenskan i klassrummet : - en undersökning av högstadieelevers skrivande
My paper deals with SMS and IM language's impact on Students' language in school. Text messaging and instant messaging involves several simplifications and abbreviations for the user to be able to write quickly and short but in the same time have made them understood by the recipient. The spelling, punctuation and use of capital letters are also of a secondary importance when writing via the text chat. My purpose with this paper is to investigate the prevalence of SMS and chat language in Student texts, using Students in the senior level. My respondents were asked to answer a questionnaire and write a text to a picture.
Karriärval för sjöbefälsstudenter i Kalmar
Syftet med den här undersökningen var att få reda på varför man väljer att börja studera till sjökapten och även jämföra om det finns några likheter mellan de som läser tre respektive fyra år. Eftersom vi själva jobbat till sjöss, innan vi börja studera så var valet att börja studera relativt lätt för oss, men vad fick våra kollegor att börja studera? Det finns brist på styrmän till sjöss så förhoppningsvis kan vår undersökning hjälpa högskolor att lättare rekrytera personer. Vår undersökning visar att den största anledningen till att börja studera är det personliga intresset, men även att nya utmaningar i yrkeslivet har en stor påverkan i Studenternas val. Däremot hittade vi ingen större likhet mellan tre och fyra åriga programmet.

I wanted to look at school-children's perspective of prehistory. I also wanted to look at the literature at their disposal, provided by the schools.In this essay I am looking at a school-class in the fourth grade from a school in Malmö and a fifth grade-class at a school in Klågerup just outside Malmö. I am trying to determine the Student's view of what prehistory is all about, as well as how their own school-literature is connected to that knowledge. Six books in all were examined. The essay is concentrated on prehistory and only at those two schools.
En jämförande studie mellan pojkar och flickor : om attityden till psykisk ohälsa
The purpose of this study is to explore Students? perceptions and experiences of the school-subject Swedish. Ten qualitative interviews with Students in school year nine have been carried out and the results of these interviews constitute the basis of this study. The result shows that Students have a straight-forward attitude towards Swedish as a school-subject. The Students identify skills such as reading, writing and speaking, and work in school mainly concerns perfecting these skills. The Students think of Swedish as a subject with a clear purpose and find it important and useful. The result also shows that the Students want grading for the purpose of further motivation.
Facebook som komplement till modersmålsundervisning
Facebook is the most widely used social media in Sweden. It allows the user to easily share the latest from their everyday life, their opinions, as well as communicate with their acquaintances. According to the latest poll from the Foundation for Internet Infrastructure, 33% of teenagers in the ages 12-15 spend their Internet time being active on social media. 63% of these teenagers visit Facebook on daily basis.Herein, we examined how Facebook can be exploited as a complement to the education of the mother tongue. The investigation was performed with a questionnaire as well as a test group that has been supplemented with semi-structured interviews. In conclusion, the study showed promising results in the usage of Facebook with the education.
Vilken nytta har studenter av extraarbeten som inte matchar deras utbildningsområde? : En kvalitativ studie om vilka kompetenser ett icke-matchande extraarbete medför
Manpowers Work Life undersökning från maj 2008 visar att ungefär hälften av alla högskole- och universitetsStudenter väljer att arbeta vid sidan av studierna. Undersökningen visar vidare att endast en fjärdedel av dessa Studenter har ett extraarbete som matchar deras utbildningsprofil. Det finns även en oro bland Studenterna att inte få ett framtida arbete inom deras utbildningsområde (Manpower A, 2008). Detta väckte ett intresse hos oss att undersöka vilken nytta ett icke-matchande extraarbete har haft för en Student som idag är nyutexaminerad samt har ett arbete inom dennes utbildningsprofil. Vi vill undersöka nyttan av ett icke-matchande extraarbete ur två perspektiv, både ur den nyutexaminerade Studentens syn men även ur deras nuvarande arbetsgivares syn.

AbstractI have chosen to make a study of the learning of reading and writing, as well as other learning difficulties that may occur, in this research.My choice of subject is based on the realizations I made during my time as a Student teacher; that each teacher has his/her own way of teaching reading and writing. Sometimes, however, learning difficulties occur, and this insight caught my attention. It made me think about the underlaying reasons and how we, as teachers, can bring attention to these difficulties. With these questions in mind, I recorded my observations based on a series of interviews and literary studies in an attempt to answer my questions. The resulting research emphasizes how important the actions from the teachers are, as well the importance of having variety in your lesson plan.
Casemetodik och geografi : En studie av elevers och lärares syn på casemetodik i geografiundervisningen
The case method is a relatively new pedagogical method in Sweden that is based on Students exercising their skills in the analysis of complex situations and problems that are based in reality and that help Students to see a broader perspective and context.The purpose of this study has been to investigate, through interviews with Students and teachers, the advantages and disadvantages of the case method in teaching geography.The results of the study show that both teachers and Students share almost the same opinion. The conclusion is that the case method is a didactic method that is well suited for teaching geography, as it is based on reality and develops the Students? ability to analyze, argue and find solutions in several areas within the subject of geography. If a Student is strong in these skill areas they can really benefit from the application of the case method in the teaching of geography, but for Students who are weaker in these skills, the case method can be a disadvantage.
Där traditionens ande talar... : en studie i hur föreställningen om en akademisk identitet skapas och förvaltas på Ultuna studentkår
Denna uppsats om 15 hp har syftet att undersöka hur man socialiseras in i rollen som Student genom aktiviteter vid Ultuna Studentkår. Studentlivet kan sägas vara fullt av profana ritualer, rutiner och bär på ett utvecklat symbolspråk. Under sin studieperiod deltar många av Studenterna i dessa aktiviteter. Med hjälp av handling och tal inbegrips de i, förvaltar och formar föreställningar om den egna rollen ? deras identitet som Studenter och som blivande yrkesutövare.
Att undervisa elever med ADHD i idrott och hälsa
AbstractWorking with Students who have ADHD are today common in Swedish schools. Approximately 2-3 Students per class have been diagnosed with ADHD and require greater demands on their teachers. The pupils have to be included and get the opportunities to develop in the way that suits the Students best. The pupils themselves should not have to adapt to the school, it is the school that has to adapt to the pupils. The purpose of this paper is to examine how PE teachers work with Students who have ADHD as they need to have adults around them that have insights on their special needs.
