The aim of this study was to examine the possibilities to enter the regular labour market for pupils and young adults with intellectual disabilities. The method used is tape-recorded qualitative interviews with; Two pupils with intellectual disabilities, studying the last year at a special school. Two young adults with intellectual disabilities, former pupils at a special school and at the moment in search of work at a Public Employment Service office for young adults with disabilities. Furthermore were interviews made with two professionals, one student counsellor at a special school and one representative at a Public Employment Service office for young adults with disabilities. For analysing the empirical data, Iris Marion Young's theory about Five Faces of Oppression, Crip theory and Dalrymple and Burkes theory about empowerment was used.

This thesis deals with the information needs and information provision of teachers in compulsory school, from a role theoretical perspective. The object is to investigate teachers opinions on their information needs and information provision. The following questions have been used to approach the problem: Which are the information needs of teachers in compulsory school? How do teachers get the information they need? Which difficulties and deficiencies do teachers experience in their information provision, and what does the ideal situation look like? The theoretical frame of reference consists of a model of the information seeking of professionals, which is based on role theory. Qualitative interviews have been carried out with nine teachers.

Swedish school children's results have deteriorated in recent years and formative assessment is, in accordance with previous research, a way to develop students' learning and performance. A part of formative assessment is based on feedback that students should receive before, during and after a new assignment. In this study, we want to find out how students and teachers apprehend students' development in relation to feedback and what general attitudes towards feedback can be seen in both parties. The literature and theory discussed is linked to formative assessment, both at international and national level where many important aspects of formative assessment are essential in relation to pupils' further development. The theories are based heavily on human interaction and socio-cultural perspective as a concept.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att studera hur matchning av studenter som jobbar extra som konsulter går till. Detta jämfördes med hur bemanningsbranschen matchar sina ordinarie konsulter och hur rekrytering går till i vanliga företag. Det visade sig att det inte gjorts så mycket forskning om matchning riktad mot just studenter och om hur matchning går till. Detta gjorde att teorin var tvungen att byggas upp innan studien kunde påbörjas. När detta var gjort studerades hur ett utvalt bemanningsföretag gjorde i praktiken, genom att studera deras dokument, intervjua jobbmäklare samt förevisning av hur de arbetar.

The school is under constant change and school reform on the conveyor belt. In 2009 the Swedish government introduced new directives for the elementaryschool, including multi-national sample, written testimonials from grade one and grade with several grades rose from grade six. The purpose of this study is to examine currently active primary teacher perceptions of the pupils' learning and development might be affected by those earlier and clearer knowledge assessments, and how teachers perceive this reform on the basis of the Swedish school's motto "a school for all". The study was carried out with a phenomenological approach where the method has been depth interviews with five active primary teachers from grades one to six in a school. The results show that teachers perceive that the earlier and clearer assessments will affect students differently according to student performance and knowledge.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to investigate international students? views regarding information seeking and use of information sources. A further aim is also to investigate the possible factors influencing information seeking in relation to everyday life for international students. Interviews were carried out with eight international students, 20-35 years old from three continents. They were to stay in Sweden for at least five months for the purpose of studying.

The aim with the study is to get an understanding of why pupils read literature in upper secondary school from four Swedish teachers´ thoughts and attitudes towards fiction in upper secondary school. Some of the theoretical starting points that lay as a foundation to the study are Lpf 94, the curriculum for Swedish and different literature oriented researchers as Lars-Göran Malmgren´s subject construction, Louise M. Rosenblatt´s transaction theory, Jan Nilsson´s view on fiction as a source of pleasure and a source of knowledge and Gunilla Molloy´s dialectal questions. To reach the aim in question qualitative interviews with four Swedish teachers in upper secondary school were carried through. The result shows that the teachers see the literature?s part in school as meaningful and claims that it deserves to have an even higher value in all subjects, not only in the subject Swedish.

The information society creates new demands on the knowledge making individual; besides being literate one has to be information literate. And in the educational society there is an ongoing change from teaching to learning, the focal point being the active student and life long learning. The aim of this dissertation is to within a context of learning and teaching elucidate the relation between user education and subject education by examining what significance the academic libraries user education has for the development of information literacy within students. Some epistemological theories connected with learning is presented as well as aspects of the information search process and of information literacy. Universities and their libraries view of information literacy and the goal of their user education is being focused on in an empirical study.

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

I dokument rörande jämställdhetsarbete vid Linköpings universitet anges att universitetet skall verka för att främja ökad jämställdhet dels genom inarbetande av tydliga, innehållsmässiga genus- och jämställdhetsperspektiv i främst samtliga programutbildningar men också i sådana enskilda ämnen som utgör grunden för fristående kurser, dels också genom fortsatta riktade satsningar på utbildning med specifik inriktning på kunskap om genus. Genusperspektiv skall således integreras inom det Affärsjuridiska programmet med Europainriktning vid Linköpings universitet. Hur kan då genusperspektiv tillämpas inom ämnet juridik och framför allt inom det affärsjuridiska området? Uppsatsens främsta syfte är att besvara denna fråga genom att utveckla en metod, en tankemodell, för att tolka juridiska texter utifrån ett genusperspektiv och dessutom att ge exempel på hur metoden kan tillämpas inom det affärsjuridiska området. Under min tid som student vid Linköpings universitet har jag, vid de tillfällen jag fört genusperspektiv på tal, mötts av allt från oförstående och skepsis till ren okunskap, men jag har också mött engagemang, nyfikenhet och en vilja att veta mer.

During my practical training period I observed that many of the students have a negative attitude against mathematics. I also observed that these students have a difficulty reaching the goals in the subject. In my opinion there are different factors that can be the reason to why these students experiences mathematics as a difficult subject in school. This is the reason why I wanted to find out which factors that lies behind the difficulties and how the pedagogues work to support these students. It is also significant that every single student get their rights to develop a positive attitude against mathematics and that the pedagogue supports the students in their development.The point with this degree project is to find out, with the help of three pedagogues, which factors that could lead to difficulties in mathematics with students.

Bakgrund: Skolsköterskan ingår i elevhälsoteamet vars uppdrag är att bevara och främja hälsa, förhindra ohälsa, tidigt upptäcka sjukdom och minska konsekvenser av skada eller sjukdom. Syfte: Studien syftar till att undersöka hur elever ser på skolsköterskans roll i skolan. Metod: En kvalitativ metod valdes för studien. Arton elever från högstadiet och gymnasiet svarade på mejlfrågor. Analysmetoden som valdes gav möjligheten att röra sig relativt fritt mellan olika analytiska begrepp. Resultatet presenteras i tre teman. Resultat: Eleverna beskriver att de har tilltro till skolsköterskor. Eleverna törs prata om det mesta.

The aim of the study is to see how teachers and students work in a multicultural school according to a method which teaches students to write before reading with the aid of computers. A further aim to investigate is how pupils with Swedish as a second language develop their linguistic skills using the method.To participate in modern society requires a lot from the individual. To function in a society that is constantly changing requires a good knowledge of the use of language in order to participate as a democratic citizen. It is therefore important that all students develop good linguistic knowledge regardless of their first language.The study is based on interviews with four teachers, operating in a multicultural school. Besides the interviews observations were made of the teachers and students in their daily work with computers.The results of the study showed that the method is language stimulating and develops the second language of the learners.

Syftet med denna rapport är att studera träningsintensiteten under polisutbildningen i Umeås fyra terminer och om denna har minskat, samt försöka hitta en förklaring till varför. Vi har undersökt i vilken mängd studenterna tränar, vilka träningsformer som utövas samt om det sker någon förändring av träningen under tiden studenterna går på utbildningen. Vi kommer att försöka få svar på dessa frågor genom att studenter i termin 1 och 4 på polisutbildningen kommer få svara på en enkät. Vi presenterar i inledningen de fysiska krav som ställs av polisutbildningen på varje enskild student samt de olika examinationerna som genomförs under utbildningen. Det finns sen tidigare ett flertal rapporter om de fysiska examinationerna under utbildningen samt de fysiska tester som genomförs vid antagningen till polisutbildningen, men vi har valt att fokusera oss på den vardagliga träningen samt om examinationerna som genomförs påverkar träningen.
