I have taught pupils in several schools in eighth and ninth grade in ?weak? groups in mathematics. Most of them seemed to possess potential, but lacked motivation. Even though I tried several pedagogical methods, these approaches failed to engage the students. This prompted thoughts that this may reflect a broader structural problem about the organisation of education in Sweden.

Genom studien har jag kommit fram till att det nära samarbete som klient och personligt ombud har, gör att informanterna upplever sin situation med personligt ombud bra. Det innebär att informanterna upplever sin vardag bättre, sedan de fick tillgång till personligt ombud. Informanterna har genom personligt ombud fått ökad kontroll över sitt liv, eftersom de upplever att de har bättre förutsättningar vid myndighetskontakter när deras personliga ombud hjälper dem med detta. Det positiva bemötandet från de personliga ombuden är A och O, klienterna känner sig både sedda och förstådda. Även då mina informanter och de personliga ombuden har olika åsikter, kan de resonera.

Velopharyngeal insufficiency may affect resonance, articulation and thus how speech is perceived by other listeners. Velopharyngeal insufficiency is frequently found in the cleft palate population due to structural abnormalities of the palate. The pharyngeal flap is the most commonly used operation designed to improve velopharyngeal function. The aim of the present study was to compare speech before and after pharyngeal flap surgery by perceptual evaluation regarding nasality, articulation and deviant speech. The study includes preoperative and postoperative speech samples of 28 patients who underwent pharyngeal flap surgery at the University Hospital in Linköping between 2002 and 2007.

Aim: The aim of this study was to explore the care providers' experiences in enabling communionship and solitude in daily living for elderly living in old age homes in a South African context. Method: This study was done using a qualitative analysing method, with empirical data obtained from nursing staff of elderly. The study was phenomenological which aims at deepen the understanding of human experiences as phenomenon. The data was collected by using a groupinterview which included five informants from an old age home in Pretoria. The analysis included two steps; Naive reading and structural analysis in order to transform the individual elucidations into an abstract which had no individual touch.

Denna uppsats är en utvärdering av stödsökandes upplevelser av kontakt med Sveriges tjejjourer och deras upplevelser av stödbehov. Syftet med utvärderingen var att undersöka hur de stödsökande upplever det stöd de får i sin kontakt med tjejjourerna och att inkludera de stödsökande i utvecklingen av tjejjourernas verksamhet. Detta genom att ta reda på vilka behov de stödsökande anser sig ha då de kontaktar en tjejjour. Empirin samlades in genom en kvalitativ enkät avsedd för tjejer som varit i kontakt med tjejjourerna. Empirin hanterades genom innehållsanalys och kategoriserades under teman.

Gender equality and gender equality work is relevant for today's working life, and previously male-dominated occupations may be increasingly under pressure to become more equal. This paper aims to explore and understand how the firefighters at a station are experiencing gender and gender equality in rescue services.Using theories of how sex is done, how a power perspective and a structural approach can show men's and women's different conditions in an organization, and theories that are more specific to gender and change management the firefighters talk about gender and gender equality are analyzed. Essay results were collected through interviews with seven firefighters and then analyzed and interpreted with the help of theories.The analysis shows that there is a perception among the firefighters that men and women are biologically different and that required physical strength legitimizes the exclusion of women. Inequality is seen as something natural and by pursuing an active gender equality women are given unwarranted benefits. When physical strength becomes a legitimate reason for exclusion, the responsibility for gender inequality is put on women and that women don?t have what it takes.There is also a resistance against gender equality analyzed in the paper, and it's stated opposition seems to be directed against the management's way of recruiting women.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med den här studien var att ta reda på hur privata kostrådgivare upplevde sin roll i arbetet med att förändra kostvanor hos klienter med typ-2 diabetes. Vidare syftade studien till att ta reda på hur privata kostrådgivare motiverade dessa klienter till beteendeförändringar.- Hur uppfattar privata kostrådgivare sin betydelse i arbetet med beteendeförändringar hos klienter med typ-2 diabetes? - Hur motiverar privata kostrådgivare sina klienter med typ-2 diabetes till beteendeförändringar? MetodKvalitativ forskning samt semistrukturerade intervjuer valdes för den här studien. Informanterna var fyra kostrådgivare som arbetade inom privata sektorn i Stockholm. De inspelade intervjuerna transkriberades och analyserades både deduktivt och induktivt genom kvalitativ innehållsanalys.ResultatResultatet visade att kostrådgivarna uppfattade sig som mycket betydelsefulla för sina klienters livsstilsförändring.
