This qualitative interview study examines the shared and discrepant experiences that nine professionals, three from each field of psychiatry, social service, and housing have from working with people with hoarding disorder, and their view on help. The main difficulty when working with hoarding disorder is described as lack of insight and understanding of the severity and consequences of the disorder among people with the disability. Professionals highlight the importance of proper diagnosis and cooperation among disciplinary teams working with hoarding disorder. Approaches differ regarding the issue of how to best help a person with hoarding disorder, especially as the emphasis of autonomy becomes more prevalent. The landlords who were interviewed expressed the hoarders? need of help from the society, whereas the social service interviewees accentuated voluntariness and motivation as a favorable long-term management.

Since the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) was adopted in 1979 there has been evident progress in the area of women's rights in great parts of the world, although this progress is still foremost concentrated to the Westernhemisphere. In Argentina, the work with gender equality and women's rights set of strongly during the last decade. The country has ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Inter-American Convention on the Prevention, Punishmentand Eradication of Violence against Women "Convention of Belem Do Para" but still women and girls are victims of structural discrimination and serious impunity of their rights on a daily basis.The current situation proves that the positive changes within the context of international and national law do not necessary reach out to the population to the same extent. In the light of the lacking popular involvement and knowledge of their rights, a different type of solution is desirable. Therefore it would be of interest to examinate the role of Non Governmental Organisations (NGO:s) when it comes to implementing human rights in the society and ?the every day life?.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka deltagares upplevelser av och tankar kring hästunderstödd terapi. Utifrån detta studerar vi hur hästunderstödd terapi är en del av socialt arbete. Detta har vi undersökt utifrån följande frågeställningar: ?Hur talar deltagarna om hästens roll och betydelse i den hästunderstödda terapin??, ?Hur beskriver deltagarna att hästens närvaro påverkar deras färdigheter och känslor?? och ?Hur upplever deltagarna hästunderstödd terapi som behandlingsmetod?? Studiens empiri härrör från intervjuer med fem deltagare i hästunderstödd terapi. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ studie med semistrukturerade intervjuer som metod för insamling av data.

The purpose of this study is to explore professionals? view on why men purchase sexual services with a focus on heterosexual prostitution where the man is the buyer and the woman is the seller. To achieve the studys? purposes and to be able to examine professionals? views a qualitative approach is taken with semi-structured interviews. Six professionals who work or have been working in the organisation KAST (Buyers of sexual services, own translation), who are situated in Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm, have been interviewed.

Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att beskriva de psykosociala och existentiella behov som kan uppstå hos kvinnor med bröstcancer samt i hur stor utsträckning bröstcancerpatienter upplever att dessa behov tillgodoses i vården. Dessutom var syftet att få en uppfattning om betydelsen av komplementär och alternativ medicin för bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnor. De vetenskapliga artiklar (n=25) som ingick i studien söktes datoriserat samt manuellt och en kvalitetsgranskning gjordes av litteraturen utifrån olika bedömningsformulär. Resultaten visar att de behov som uppstod hos kvinnorna med bröstcancer var behov av stöd, behov av information samt behov av kontinuitet i sjukvården. Majoriteten av kvinnorna upplevde att det psykosociala och existentiella stödet i sjukvården samt den information de fick hade stora brister.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka ett friskvårdsprojekt inom Saab Bofors Dynamics. Friskvårdsprojektet ?Det friska företaget? startades år 2004 som ett koncept för att lansera friskvård. Syftet och forskningsfrågan besvaras genom kvalitativa gruppintervjuer i form av fokusgrupper bestående av slumpmässigt utvalda medarbetare inom Saab Bofors Dynamics. I studien anammas ett hermeneutiskt förhållningssätt med tolkning som metod utifrån en abduktiv ansats.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the royal legitimacy strategy in the state bureaucracy of Saudi Arabia. The question at issue is: how has the royal family constructed the civil, military and religious bureaucracies to maintain and promote stability and legitimacy?The thesis focuses on the on three different units within these three bureaucracies and it surveys the way they are staffed and organized to strengthen and maintain legitimacy for the royal family.

The EU-funded project European Cultural Heritage Online (ECHO) aims to integrateresources from various domains within the field of cultural heritage, and make them availableon the Internet. To accomplish this integration it is necessary to describe the various resourcesin a way that will achieve cross-domain interoperability. This description of digital resourcesis commonly referred to as metadata. The most well known and used metadata standard is theDublin Core Metadata Element Set, a general standard developed for the purpose ofdescribing all types of digital resources. Since the mid-1990's a large number of specializedstandards have emerged in different communities, for example IMDI, designed for detaileddescription of language resources.This thesis aims to examine the possibility of combining a general and a specialized metadatastandard to achieve cross-domain interoperability and at the same time provide a sufficientlydetailed description of language resources for researchers within the field of linguistics.

With an increased empowerment of the users, and a dependence on outside critics, one wonders what kind of role the librarians have in a context where qualitative literature is discussed. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between librarians private and professional views on qualitative fiction, in order to be able to discuss their role as quality intermediaries in a user oriented context.The method used, is the qualitative, semistructured interview. This author interviewed seven librarians from three different libraries in Sweden. The theoretical emphasis partly relies on the ten words of qualitative value that Inger Elam and Bengt Brülde discusses in their respective texts, partly on David Garvins quality assessment theory, which defines several quality categories divided between an absolute and a relative quality view.Through the comparison between the private and the professional quality view, examined with the two theoretical approaches, the analysis of the interview material shows that there lies a complexity in the librarians professional role. On the one hand, they are dependent of both the users and the critics judgements about the qualitative aspect in the work with purchasing new literature to the library.

The cell cycle is the time a cell spends between two cell divisions. The cell cycle includes several parallel processes, all of which must be completed before a cell is mature for dividing. In the first place, all subcomponents (RNA, protein and membrane lipids) need to double in quantity and this occurs continuously through the cell cycle. Furthermore, the genome and some chromosomal proteins must double and this take place during a limited interval in the middle of the cell cycle (S-phase). On either side of the S-phase are two "gaps" which is called G1 and G2. When the cell has passed a point in the G-phase they are irreversibly programmed to progress through the remaining of the cell cycle and will undergo the next cell division. When a cell have passed a point in the G1 phase, approximately four hours after mitosis, a normal cell is in a state of indecision.

Our paper is based on matrixes and the feedback process as tools in the daily work in the higher education system. The main purpose with this paper is to investigate if these tools can enhance the effect of formative assessment and increase students? empowerment in the courses. In do-ing so, we investigate if students experience that their efforts result in increased progression in their courses and if they acquire adequate proficiency in the subject matters native to their pro-grams, along with an increased desire for lifelong learning. About a year ago, Göteborgs-Posten, one of Sweden's largest daily newspapers, decided it was unprofitable to continue producing their feature-style weekend magazine, Två Dagar. Standing at a crossroads,not wanting to stop producing the weekend magazine altogether, they decided to outsource. Spoon Publishing AB, a content agency with strong ties to Göteborg, were assigned with taking over the production.Going forward, Spoon has taken over a majority of the responsibility for the conceptual work and actual production, all with the main purpose of reducing cost and increasing efficiency.Normally Spoon does content marketing for a wide range of customers in an equally wide spectra of channels, from print to radio, television and web.The main purpose of this essay has been to investigate and establish whether the journalistic integrity and quality has in fact been maintained despite the weekend magazine being outsourced. We have analyzed selected editions of the magazine, first and foremost inarticles under the vignette fashion, using a qualitative method for content analysis, scrutinizing everything from the denotation of single words to the big picture. This specific vignette contains the most frequent contributions by in-house, or at least reappearing, journalists.Perusing the material in Två Dagar, we have come to the conclusion that the magazine has indeed retained its level of quality and still reflects the same core values as before being outsourced..

Protracted social conflicts, as those in Cyprus and Northern Ireland, are based on deep rooted perceptions of identity and definitions of "the other". According to the theory of discursive conflict transformation, war is primarily a social phenomenon, which is legitimated by a discourse of identity defined in terms of exclusionist boundaries and structural ideas of the social relations in society. In order to develop positive peace, the discourse of violence has to be challenged and the discursive structures that enable war have to transform into a counterdiscourse of inclusion and individuality. For the purpose of making a critical peace analysis, I have, with the assistance of established conflict theories, analysed the basic ideas behind the the Annan Plan and the Belfast Agreement and thus been able to interpret to what extent they may foster positive peace. I argue, that in order to provide basic needs on a group basis, power sharing arrangement, based on ethnicity or religion, exacerbates division rather than ameliorating it.

Vårt syfte med denna studie har varit att studera sambandet mellan delaktighet och livskvalitéhos de äldre på ett äldreboende samt hur personal och ledning arbetar för att främjalivskvaliteten genom delaktighet.Frågeställningv? Hur ser de äldre på sin delaktighet?v? Hur ser de äldre på sin livskvalitet?v? Hur ser personal och enhetschef på möjligheten i att främja de äldres livskvalitetgenom delaktighet?v? Hur påverkas de äldres livskvalitet av deras möjlighet till delaktighet?Vi har använt oss av kvalitativ metod i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer med de äldre,personal samt enhetschef. Den tidigare forskningen vi studerat rör åldrande, livskvalitet ochdelaktighet. I vår analys har vi applicerat det salutogena perspektivet, empowerment ochaktivitetsteorin.Vårt resultat visar att den äldres livskvalitet i hög utsträckning påverkas av möjligheten tilldelaktighet. Delaktighet tar sig uttryck på olika sätt där återkommande teman har varit;delaktighet i fysiska aktiviteter, fysisk delaktighet i sin egen omvårdnad samt inflytande översin egen omvårdnad.
