SammanfattningBakgrund:Med en växande äldre befolkning följer nya krav för   att förbättra hälsa, självständighet och aktivitet. Aktiviteter som bevarar   fungerande förmågor skapar känsla av välbefinnande, positiv självbild samt   ökar livskvaliteten för äldre. Det ingår i sjuksköterskans profession att   identifiera samt aktivt arbeta för att förebygga hälsorisker.Syfte:  Att belysa aktiviteters betydelse ur den äldres och sjuksköterskans   perspektiv.Metod:Studien är en litteraturöversikt baserad på 14 vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat:För att främja aktivitet hos äldre behöver de mer kunskap om   aktiviteters hälsofördelar, kunskap om lämpliga aktiviteter samt hur ofta och   hur mycket aktivitet som bör utföras. För att kunna ge optimalt stöd till den   äldre i hälsoförebyggande syfte behöver sjuksköterskan mer tid och kunskap. Diskussion:Hälsoförebyggande insatser bör komma redan på det stadium då den äldre   är relativt frisk och har förmåga till egenvård.

Barnmisshandel är ingen isolerad företeelse, oftast finns ett mönster av problem, som handlar om individen, familjen, samhället och kulturella värderingar. Studiens syfte var att uppnå en ökad förståelse för barnmisshandel samt att undersöka och analysera hur förskolelärarna förhöll sig till anmälningsplikten vid misstanke om barnmisshandel. Studien genomfördes med hjälp av semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer med tre förskolelärare och en barnskötare. Av studiens resultat framgick att intervjupersonerna var väl medvetna om att de hade anmälningsplikt samt att de visste vad anmälningsplikten innebar.

The object of this study has been to establish how language is used to present and establish a person?s identity. The studied language usage is that of renowned author Selma Lagerlöf and the language studied is that of her personal correspondence. This language picture is placed alongside the public depiction of her and a comparison of sorts is made. The chosen method has been to study Lagerlöf?sprivate correspondence and to compare her language markers in those to the literature history?s picture of her.

Introduction: HR departments have been developed to take care of the organizations most important resource: the human being. HR as a function has however faced criticism claiming that the function does not entail any value to organizations. The rest of the organization often have a hard time understanding what HR?s daily work means and thereof not having a clear image of the function?s purpose or the function?s role in the organization Aim: The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between the organization's view of the HR department (image) and the HR department's image of themselves (identity) in order to create a greater understanding of how the HR function successfully can be a well-functioning resource in an organization's overall business. Methodology: The study was conducted in the form of a case study. We have approached the issues by taking different perspective into account, which includes HR, managers and employees.

The Discourse of Information in Organizing Knowledge.AbstractThe aim of this Master's thesis is to inquire into the consequences of an unequal distribution of power between information discourses in the field of knowledge organisation. A deconstruction of Jennifer Rowley's and John Farrows introductory textbook Organizing Knowledge from 2000 is related to the major discourses of information in LIS. Questions posed in this study are: What meaning is ascribed to information in the material studied? Which information discourses are given a dominant position? Which are excluded? and: How does this affect the construction of the library and information science student's identity, in relation to practices of knowledge organisation? The theoretical framework is provided by Ernesto Laclau's and Chantal Mouffe's theory of discourse and combined with techniques for text analysis originating from the work of Norman Fairclough.The analysis reveals a strong domination of a cognitive discourse of information that underlines the importance of information systems for the organisation of knowledge.

Det finns dock inte angivet hur utvärderingen ska gå till eller vem som ska genomföra denna.Syfte: Ambitionen med studien har varit att analysera vad en effektiv styrelseutvärdering är och att identifiera de bakomliggande kritiska framgångsfaktorerna.Metod: Uppsatsen är genomförd med hjälp av en kvalitativ strategi och bygger på en abduktiv abstraktionsprocess. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom semistrukturerade telefonintervjuer och analyserats med hjälp av en analysmodell.Slutsats: Genom studien har vi identifierat sju kritiska framgångsfaktorer. Framgångsfaktorerna är oberoende, kunskap, bredd, uppriktighet, djup, jämförbarhet och diskussion..

Bakgrund: Det är intressenterna som tillsammans samskapar platsvarumärket, dock har invånarnas betydelse i sammanhanget hittills inte uppmärksammats. Relationen mellan Kalmar kommun och invånarna påverkar platsens kultur, image och platsidentitet. Dessa element är sammanvävda och utgör platsvarumärket, vilket innebär att varumärkning bör ses som en dynamisk företeelse. Kalmar kommun saknar dock riktlinjer över hur de ska involvera invånarna i varumärkesarbetet, så att de tillsammans kan forma och förmedla ett attraktivt Kalmar. Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är dels att undersöka hur invånarna kan relateras till platsens kultur, platsidentitet och image, vilka utgör platsvarumärket. Dels att föreslå riktlinjer gällande hur Kalmar kommun ska involvera invånarna i kommunens varumärkesarbete. Metod: Studien bygger på fallstudie av Kalmar kommuns varumärkesarbete.

Problem. With the Swedish public sectors problem with efficiency in mind, several reforms have beeninitiated during the last decades. These reforms go, in academic contexts, under the name?New public management?. The reforms have resulted in, among other things, an increasedcompetition, privatization and goal-orientation in the public sector.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explain which factors that affects Swedish listed companies choice of placement for the corporate governance report when the regulation gives different options.Methodology: The chosen research philosophy is positive, research strategy is deductive and methodology is quantitative.Theoretical Perspectives: As support for the dependent (placement) and independent factors agency theory, positive accounting theory, accounting choice, legitimacy-, stakeholder-, and institutional theory are used.                  Empirical foundation:The sample consists of 249 companies. The empirical data consists of the companies Annual reports and Corporate Governance reports for financial year 2011 or when split financial year, 2010/2011. Limitations: A limitation of the study is that it is based on observations from only one year why it is not certain that the results should have been the same if a comparison between several years had been done.Conclusions: The factors size and growth explain the placement of the Corporate Governance Report in Swedish listed companies..

In recent years, the internet has exploded of images. Not at least in the popular photo-sharing network Instagram as one of the fastest growing social network for the moment. Millions of people around the world share pictures and expose themself for friends and family. We were therefore interested in which experiences and attitudes users have towards their identities in relation to their self-image and self-presentation on Instagram. Furthermore, whether they in general have a primary interest in using Instagram as a tool to experiment with images to present their identity on Instagram, in which way they approach their Instagram follower?s expectations on how they present themselves on Instagram and if they are aware of any strategies in their self-presentation on Instagram.The result of this study is the fact that our respondents thinks that they do not intend to have a primary interest in experimenting with images on Instagram to present their identitiy, it is rather something that comes naturally in how they present themselves on Instagram.

The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine the discourses about Malmö public library that can be identified in several documents published by the library, articles, and various WebPages. Furthermore, our intention is to study the relation between the library?s identity, image and profile. The questions posed in the study are: Which identity discourses are Malmö public library giving expression for? What kind of conflicts between these discourses can we find? How is the identity, image and profile of the library in relation to one another? How does Malmö public library profile and market itself as a non-profit organization? Our theoretical and methodological building ground is in the discourse analytical field, with Enesto Laclau?s and Chantal Mouffe?s theories about discourse and society, as a starting-point.

The purpose of this comparative study is to investigate if the views of Sayyid Qutb and Tariq Ramadan regarding social structure and religion are possible to unite with western liberal democracy. The basis of the study is the problematizing approaches written by Qutb and Ramadan regarding the possible unity between Islam and democracy. These problematizing approaches are then tested on the political philosophy of liberalism to see if a unity is possible.The result showed that Qutb's view did not meet the criteria of democracy, which wasn't surprising due to his negative views on the system. However, Ramadan's reformist view on Muslim identity did unite with the views of liberal democracy, though questions regarding the possibility of creating and preserving a European Muslim identity in the secular society were immediately brought to attention.The importance in Qutb's view is social equality, unity and submission to God and the importance of Ramadan's view is to create and preserve a European Muslim identity and adapt to the society where you live and participate as a citizen. Qutb's view will not tolerate diversity and one is to keep or convert to the Muslim faith.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe the change at Myndigheten and analyze its implementation to identify the employees' attitudes towards the change. The survey of attitudes is important to provide indicators of how they may affect the continued implementation of the process-oriented approach.Research methodology: This thesis is based on both quantitative and qualitative method. Surveys have been implemented on co-workers/employees and an interview has been implemented on a project participant.Theoretical framework: This thesis uses theories of organizations, organizational changes and attitudes.Conclusions: Both positive and negative attitudes are found for the employees and these attitudes are mainly weak. If Myndigheten makes interventions, it can help to minimize the negative consequences that the attitudes may lead to. By doing this the commitment for the change will increase, which is critical for the change to succeed..

The purpose of this study is to investigate a group of female converters and their subsequent experiences when transitioning to islam by bearing hijab. The study analyzes how this religious conversion has shaped and influenced the identity of mentioned women, as well as their attitude and relationship to the social environment prior to and after converting. This means that in accordance with the purpose of this study, an attempt to reveal the everyday life of these women will be performed. In order to make this study possible, three different methods will be put to use. A narrative method that touches upon the time leading up to and after the final converting and the impact of the conversion.
