Background: Communication allows people to gain understanding of themselves and their surroundings, which is a prerequisite for good health. The nurse may in her communication help patients develop a feeling that they are not alone in their situation. If the patients cannot express themselves and make themselves understood, it can lead the patients to feel left out which emphasizes the suffering at having aphasia. Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur anhöriga upplevde att deras dagliga liv påverkades av att vara anhörigvårdare till en strokedrabbad person och vilken effekt riktade sjuksköterskeinterventioner hade för anhörigvårdarna. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie. Databaser som användes var PubMed, Cinahl och Scopus. Resultatet visade att många anhörigvårdare upplevde oro och stress i olika situationer och detta skapade begränsningar i deras dagliga liv. Anhörigvårdarnas psykiska och fysiska hälsa påverkades av att vårda sin anhörig.

Sammanfattning.Bakgrund:Crush syndrome eller traumatisk rahbdomyolys är vanligt vid större naturkatastrofer som tex jordbävningar. Det kan också uppkomma när personer utsätts för tryck mot musklerna vid tex stroke, intoxikationer, byggnadsras, industriolyckor. Inom ambulanssjukvården i Sverige har vi inte någon behandlingsplan för detta tillstånd och därför kan det finnas en risk att dessa patienter inte får rätt omvårdnad.Syfte:Studiens syfte var att belysa ambulanssjuksköterskans omvårdnad vid risk för Crush syndrome.Metod:En litteraturstudie gjordes för att granska redan publicerat forskningsmaterial. Sökningarna gjordes i databaserna Cinahl och Pubmed. Fem artiklar inkluderades och innehållet analyserades med manifest innehållsanalys.Resultat:De patienter som riskerar att få Crush syndrom har följande symtom: skada på muskelmassa, förlängd kompression, komprimerad lokal cirkulation, puls >120 och onormal urinfärg.
