Att leva med fibromyalgi : en litteraturstudie
Fibromyalgi är en sjukdom utan tydlig etiologi, som starkt påverkar många aspekter i den drabbades vardag och livskvalitet. Sjukdomen förekommer främst hos kvinnor och ca 3-6 % av världens befolkning är drabbad. Den uttrycker sig vanligen som kronisk muskuloskeletal smärta och fatigue. Fibromyalgi yttrar sig olika hos olika individer, det är därför viktigt att öka förståelsen för hur de drabbade upplever sin sjukdom för att möjliggöra en bättre, mer individanpassad vård. Syftet med denna uppsats var att belysa människors upplevelser av att leva med fibromyalgi.
Att se världen i svart och vitt : En kritisk granskning av SOS Barnbyars reklamkampanjer
The purpose of this thesis is to do a critical review of the aid organization SOS Children?s Villages text- and video campaigns, from a postcolonial perspective. Our purpose is divided into two questions: Are there colonial values in the advertising campaigns? Which language- and image strategies are used by SOS Children?s Villages to put across their messages? Our material consists of 10 selected video clips, and four printed ads that are made up of an image and a short text, which are part of a campaign named: Inte ett enda barn ska behöva vara ensamt (translation: Not a single child should have to be alone). We have chosen to use text- and image analysis as a method in our review of the material.

We will also examine which objectives of the budget are highlighted in the companies. Further, we examine the relationship between organization, strategies and budgeting and how it affects the company management. Method: In this study we used a qualitative approach. We used a multiple case study to examine corporate approach to budgeting.

Organic food is produced in a way that strives towards maintaining and improving natural resources. The welfare of both producers and consumers is central, also taking both animals and the environment into account. The Swedish government finds this important and in 2006 they made a resolution that the consumption of organic food should be stimulated. The goal was that 25 % of the municipalities? consumption of food should be organic in 2010.The municipality of Ludvika reached the government's target in 2011 and is currently increasing their proportion of organic food by one new product every year. Ludvika is a member of The National Association of Swedish Eco-municipalities and the town of Ludvika is also a Fairtrade city.
När vi lider med De andra : En jämförande studie av medierapporteringen om naturkatastroferna i Haiti och Pakistan 2010
Denna studie jämför rapporteringen om naturkatastroferna i Haiti och Pakistan år 2010. Syftet är att förstå hur Svenska Dagbladet och Dagens Nyheter har prioriterat och gestaltat respektive lands katastrof vilket i sin tur skapar en bild av nationens ställning som offer.221 artiklar ligger till grund för mätning av utrymme och placering, varpå 72 artiklar analyserades mer ingående med hjälp av kvantitativ innehållsanalys för att ta fram viktiga aspekter i gestaltningen. Huvudsakliga aspekter var Lidande människor, de Skyldiga och Räddaren.Utifrån teorier om Agenda-Setting fann vi stöd för de resultat vi fann angående utrymme och prioritering. Compassion Fatigue och synen på Vi som en västerländsk norm och De Andra fick stå som teoretisk grund för hur journalister skapar medkänsla hos läsaren för att öka intresset för nyheten.Resultatet visar att katastrofen i Haiti var den som prioriterades högst. Det på grund av att medier prioriterar plötsliga händelser framför långsamma och att Haiti utifrån ett västerländskt perspektiv hade en högre nationell status som offer än Pakistan.
Bonusregn över svenska storbanker : En studie om belöningssystemens utformande för legitimitet
The current financial crisis has left its mark. It has even hit the major Swedish banks who have shown large losses. The media has not been slow to take note of this, and the constant political debate about the bonus culture has been reinvigorated. Our aim is to find out how the major Swedish banks relate to the publicity and describe how and why senior executives are rewarded, and what strategies banks are using in the design of their reward system to maintain a legitimate behavior, and thus the confidence of its stakeholders.As a starting point to answer our purpose we have used the agency theory that describes our view of how various problems occurs and how incentives can be established in order to get senior executives to act for their owners' interests. Modern theories of reward systems are taken from a variety of authors, these theories give us an insight into how reward systems can be designed in banks.

This paper is about the psychosocial work environment, and those factors that can be responsible for an employee?s sick leave. We have through our knowledge from working life, on several occasions experienced colleagues becoming ill, the cause being the psychosocial working environment. Private factors, for instance different kinds of life crisis like a divorce or uprooting, have contributed to the sick leave. The psychosocial working environment is complex.

This study has emerged from a growing interest in students' sleeping habits. During practical training as teachers, we have noticed a discussion of students' sleeping habits, fatigue and student performance at school in relation to their sleeping habits. The purpose of this field survey was to examine students? sleeping habits and self-perceived performance ability in school in relation to sleeping habits. The material was collected from a questionnaire that was answered by 200 students in 4-6th grade and 188 students in 1-2th grade in the upper secondary school, this to give an opportunity to see if there were any differences between the different age groups.
Globalization vs Localization : En fallsstudie om Scanias marknadsföringsstrategier i Sydamerika och Asien
Problem formulation? Are there any factors affecting the choice of marketing strategy?? What is it that determines the degree for the company to use a standardized or a adapt marketing strategy?? How profitable is Scania's marketing strategy in each country?Objective: The overall aim of this study is based on local adaptation and global standardization to compare the degree to which the company Scania chooses to adapt or standardize its marketing to the South American and Asian markets.We also aim to compare and describe any factors that affect the countries' differences in marketing strategies and to evaluate and measure the profitability of marketing strategies in each market.Methodology: The study is limited to Scania's marketing in the truck market in Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia and Singapore from 2006 to 2010. In order to answer the study's problem formulation and purpose we have chosen to combine a qualitative and quantitative approach. Four interviews were conducted with marketing executives from Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia / Singapore and Sweden. We have also chosen to examine Scania's annual report and include figures on the market shares of Scania in the respective countries and the number of sold Scania truck which is then compared against the number of registered vehicles by country.
Cancerrelaterad fatigue : patientens och sjuksköterskans omvårdnadsproblem
Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturstudie var att beskriva de psykosociala och existentiella behov som kan uppstå hos kvinnor med bröstcancer samt i hur stor utsträckning bröstcancerpatienter upplever att dessa behov tillgodoses i vården. Dessutom var syftet att få en uppfattning om betydelsen av komplementär och alternativ medicin för bröstcancerdrabbade kvinnor. De vetenskapliga artiklar (n=25) som ingick i studien söktes datoriserat samt manuellt och en kvalitetsgranskning gjordes av litteraturen utifrån olika bedömningsformulär. Resultaten visar att de behov som uppstod hos kvinnorna med bröstcancer var behov av stöd, behov av information samt behov av kontinuitet i sjukvården. Majoriteten av kvinnorna upplevde att det psykosociala och existentiella stödet i sjukvården samt den information de fick hade stora brister.

These are primarily caused by organizational and social factors, 60% are considered caused by stress and a heavy workload. Sick leave due work related fatigue and depressions are scarily common today.

?Tollarsjuka? is a disease with a suspected immunopathological background seen in Nova Scotia duck tolling retrievers. Pyrexia, lameness, stiffness and joint- or musclepain are typical clinical signs.
The purpose of this study is to describe case histories from dogs with a possible evidence of ?tollarsjuka?. 18 private dogs were included in this report.
Generalised stiffness, lameness and fatigue were the most frequent manifestations of the disease.
