This study sought to explore the juvenile crime prevention in Sweden which for the purpose of this report is seen as efforts towards preventing youth criminality and all forms of anti social behaviour by young people.In the study, interviews with six social workers working directly or indirectly with young offenders were conducted. The interview results were analyzed and subjected to transnational comparison with the practice in Kenya. The report explores existing literature on situational crime prevention, restorative justice, the link between drugs and crime, attachment to parents, peers and involvement in convectional activities, gender differences in criminality, partnerships in crime prevention and the juvenile justice system. It uses control, strain, feminist and social disorganization theories to explain the causes of delinquency, analyzes the perceptions of social workers and discusses what works in juvenile crime prevention. The report identifies the causes of delinquency in Kenya and in Sweden as well as the prevention programs that social workers perceive as effective in addressing youth crime.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the fatigue life of two components in different hydraulic quick couplings. The crack which initiates the fatigue failure usually occurs in the bottom of one of the threads. Thus, the threads in the coupling are carefully investigated. A few different approaches for determining the fatigue life are studied for each component. CAD (Computer Aided Design) models for both components are created and analyzed with FEM (Finite Element Method).

The purpose of this paper is to contribute to better understanding of the importance of social support for physically active individuals' experiences of training residence following an injury.The physical activity's impact on public health is well known. Increased physical activity also increases the risk of suffering an injury related to physical activity. The importance of social support for those individuals who suffer an injury related to physical activity is where increased knowledge is needed.Four interviews to were conducted using a thematic interview guide with the following themes: The experience of the training break, two sides of social support, several ways of dealing with the experience, the design of the support, Varied support providers relationship changes. The most important property of the individual who gave support was an experience similar to that of the injured individuals underwent. That, combined with the close relationship with the individual who gave support was seen as crucial to the experience of the social support role for the injured individual.The Conclusion was that social support is important for the experience of a break from exercise due to an injury related to physical activity..

A considerable number young of students are suffering from sociopsychological complaints. The psychological complaints emerge from differnt sources. Important factors for psychological well being are experiences of a satisfactory social network, efficient coping strategies and a supportive school climate.The aim of this study was to examine how young girls in the age of 16-18 years old experience and cope with demands from school. To fulfill the aim of this study we have five questions: What do the girls apprehend as a satisfactory/unsatisfactory working environment? How do the girls define stress? How do the girls cope with stress? What importance has leisure time? What importance has the social network? The method we used for this study was qualitative and the material was collected through four focus groups.

Meningen med vår uppsats är att undersöka möjligheten för ett socialt arbetskooperativ att kunna driva ett hunddagis i egen regi, helt utan bidragsstöd från samhället. I uppsatsen börjar vi med att kortfattat beskriva bakgrunden till socialekonomiska arbetskooperativ. Vi har haft möjlighet att få närvara vid den utbildning som kursdeltagarna fått genom Karlstads kommun inför uppstarten av hunddagiskooperativet. Hunddagiskooperativet kommer att drivas som en ekonomisk förening för att ha möjlighet att i framtiden kunna vara vinstdrivande.En enkätundersökning genomfördes för att se vad potentiella kunder efterfrågar av ett hunddagis och vad som skulle kunna göra att kunderna väljer detta dagis framför andra. Vidare har vi gjort en investeringskalkyl samt break even-analys för att se hur många dagishundar som skulle behövas för att täcka upp för kostnaderna. Vi ser att efterfrågan på kompletterande varor och tjänster från den potentiella kundgruppen är stor och att detta kan generera ytterligare intäkter.Efter genomförd break even-analys kan vi konstatera att det är fullt möjligt att driva verksamheten utan ekonomiskt stöd från samhället. Går det dessutom att komplettera med ytterligare varor och tjänster kan verksamheten dessutom gå med vinst.

To besides shift focus from to care children palliative to care curative is further a strain and an emotional changeover. The aim of this study was to illuminate nurse?sperceptions about caring for children at hospital with palliative care needs, and how they shift focus of care between children with palliative care needs and children with curative care needs. The study has a qualitative approach and data were collected with interviews from two focus groups.

Finally the aim was to investigate if the staff encouraged the clients to break loose from the traditional gender roles. A qualitative approach using face to face interviews was used.
